Isolde was clearly surprised to learn that the snake demi-human woman was Yuan’s mother-in-law. She had not expected this at all.

"Oh? She is your mother-in-law... I did not expect that," Isolde said, looking at Yuan and Nyx with surprise.

"Of course. And this is her daughter, Emma," Yuan added, pulling Emma gently into his embrace with a confident smile.

Emma, however, felt slightly embarrassed as Yuan suddenly drew her close in front of soone they barely knew.

"In that case, please co inside and ride with , Lady Nyx and Princess Nerith," Countess Isolde said politely, opening the carriage door and gesturing for them to enter.

"Thank you, Lady Isolde," Nyx replied with a soft smile as she boarded the carriage, with Princess Nerith following behind her.
