"Damn!"
Seeing the situation, Chen Cang got furious. He put Liu ngting on the hospital bed and directly rushed over to grab the school doctor’s collar, dragging them in front of Liu ngting.
Li Xiaoli was sitting by the bed, crying and calling Liu ngting’s na.
"Hey hey, what’s your classmate trying to do?"
The school doctor angrily reprimanded.
"What do you an by ’another one’? You need to examine my friend right now, or I’ll kill you."
Chen Cang threatened coldly.
"Hey, which class is this student from? How can you be so rude?"
The school doctor tidied their clothes in disgust and said, "Can’t you see I’m busy examining other students here? There has to be so order, right?"
"Order my ass."
Chen Cang roared, stomping forcefully, and the tiles on the clinic floor shattered under his foot.
"Imdiately, check her out now, or I’ll break your bones even more than these tiles."
"Hissss—"
Seeing the shattered tiles, the school doctor gasped, then imdiately explained:
"Don’t be angry, student, everyone has the sa symptoms, so checking others is the sa as checking this classmate."
"Then why are they all fainting?"
Chen Cang asked with an unpleasant expression.
"The cause hasn’t been determined yet; it might be a sudden illness or maybe poisoning or allergy. The specific situation can only be checked once they’re sent to the hospital."
The school doctor nervously recounted and quickly added, "Don’t worry, we’ve already called 120; the ambulance will arrive soon."
"Damn it."
Chen Cang let go of the doctor’s collar, cursing under his breath.
"Boo-hoo, ng ng, please wake up. I promise never to upset you again."
Li Xiaoli held Liu ngting’s hand, crying incessantly.
"What’s going on? What’s happened?"
At this mont, Principal Hao rushed into the clinic.
"How could so many students suddenly faint? Have you found the cause?"
"What’s going on exactly?"
At this mont, Principal Hao hurriedly asked as he entered the clinic, "How are so many students suddenly fainting, and how many have fainted? Has the cause been identified?"
"Principal, a total of seventeen students have fainted, and the cause is currently unknown."
The school doctor promptly reported, "Don’t worry, I’ve already called the ambulance. The hospital has complete equipnt and should be able to find out the problem."
"Seventeen students, that many?"
Hearing this, Principal Hao’s face turned unpleasant.
If it were only a couple of students, the issue might be suppressed, but now with over ten students fainting together, it cannot be contained—it’s already a major incident.
"This is just the number for the ti being; we don’t know if it will increase."
The school doctor looked at the recently arrived Liu ngting helplessly, saying, "With this trend, I fear the number will grow."
"Damn, where did these students faint?"
Principal Hao swore, quickly asking.
"I heard they all ca from Frank’s restaurant, so the problem must lie with the food there. However, my preliminary examination didn’t reveal any signs of food poisoning; the specific reason for fainting has to wait for the hospital’s assessnt."
The school doctor responded with furrowed brows.
"Regardless of whether it’s food poisoning, imdiately seal Frank’s restaurant. We must not let this issue worsen."
Principal Hao quickly glanced at the staff beside him, ordering, "Don’t report to the police yet, or it might affect the school’s reputation."
"It might be too late for that; so people bringing students in have already reported to the police. I expect they are now on their way to the school."
The school doctor responded quickly, reminding, "The situation is quite serious; reporting to the police also has its benefits; at least it lets the outside world know our school is innocent."
"If that’s the case, forget it, just hurry to the hospital."
Principal Hao thought for a mont; if there were no police report, it’d seem like hiding a cri. Letting the police intervene might actually be beneficial.
"What are you two doing here? Aren’t you worried this might be a contagious disease?"
Principal Hao glanced around and saw Chen Cang and Li Xiaoli, who hadn’t fainted, still in the clinic. He imdiately reprimanded, "Get back to where you belong."
"Boo-hoo, I want to stay with ng ng."
Li Xiaoli cried while shouting, "It’s all my fault, I upset ng ng and made her faint."
"Principal, please let us stay with Liu ngting."
Chen Cang looked at the principal, pleading.
"Who? Who did you say?"
Principal Hao’s face changed dramatically; he quickly ran to Chen Cang’s side, and seeing Liu ngting on the bed, he almost fainted.
Other students are one thing, but Liu ngting is the daughter of Liu Gaoze, the school’s major shareholder. For the boss’s daughter to encounter an issue under his watch is a huge dereliction of duty.
"Since you’re insisting, both of you take good care of Liu ngting, and rember to ensure your safety."
Principal Hao instructed while pulling out his phone and walking out.
Originally, he planned to minimize the situation and not notify the school’s board, but now that Liu ngting is involved, there’s no way to hide it. If anything serious happens to Liu ngting, he’d be dood.
Principal Hao stepped outside to dial Liu Gaoze’s number, reporting the school’s situation.
At that ti, Liu Gaoze was supervising experints in the Liu Group’s laboratory; he usually didn’t carry his phone with him, leaving it in the office outside overseen by his secretary, Liu Fei.
According to Liu Gaoze, anything not major could be handled directly by Liu Fei.
This ti, upon hearing about Liu ngting’s incident, Liu Fei imdiately rushed into the laboratory with the phone.
Because he knew that to Liu Gaoze, Liu ngting was the most important matter.
After understanding the situation, Liu Gaoze directly dropped all his work, prepared to head to the school.
Then, Principal Hao ntioned the ambulance had arrived, asking Liu Gaoze to head directly to the hospital to avoid unnecessary trips.
After notifying Liu Gaoze, the ambulances arrived at the hospital just in ti.
Seeing students being carried into the ambulances, one after another, unconscious, Principal Hao looked extrely distressed.
"Principal, should we notify the students’ parents?"
The newly appointed dean approached Principal Hao and timidly asked.
"Let’s notify them."
Principal Hao thought for a mont and reluctantly ordered.
If the students wake up in the hospital, everything will be fine.
But if they do not awaken, the parents will get word that evening regardless.
