Tang Ming was dumbfounded—did the fatso really have a thing for this stuff?

But he had to admit, the comic book was well made, and the artwork was quite impressive. Just as he was getting engrossed, the fatso clapped the history book shut.

"Don’t close it, I was just getting into it."

Tang Ming had barely finished speaking when he realized sothing was off! Standing in front of the fatso was an old man, glaring furiously at both of them.

"Reading history during my chemistry class, you must really like arts subjects. Why don’t you just transfer to the liberal arts class if you like it so much?"

The fatso was scared to death, quickly stuffing the book into the drawer and hanging his head low as the old man scolded them.

Tang Ming didn’t dare to talk back either. Getting caught red-handed would be utterly embarrassing.

"And you, the new guy, you like history too? Why don’t you join the liberal arts class as well?"

The old man glared at Tang Ming.

"Not at all, teacher. I was just morizing the periodic table of elents—hydrogen, helium, lithium, beryllium, boron, carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, fluorine, neon... It sticks better with so distractions..."

Tang Ming began to spew boldfaced lies.

"Hm, not bad."

The old man nodded and walked away.

The fatso broke out in a cold sweat, giving Tang Ming a thumbs up in admiration...

After school in the afternoon, the Liu Family’s driver arrived at the school gate on ti to pick them up. At this mont, Tang Ming was standing at the gate, but the disdain from the morning was no longer there.

The news of Tang Ming dealing with Chen Cang in the canteen had already been embellished into countless versions and spread far and wide, making Tang Ming’s na sowhat famous!

So even speculated if this guy could be so ’King of Soldiers’, back in the city to protect Liu ngting.

But to many people, this rumor wasn’t worth ntioning. How old was Tang Ming? If he were really so ’King of Soldiers’, how young would he have had to be to join the army?

So this ’return of the King of Soldiers’ was just the delusion of so nerd who had read too many urban novels.

Liu ngting and Li Xiaoli got into the car together, and Tang Ming took his place in the passenger seat.

"ng ng sister, I heard from the boys in class that Tang Ming took care of that dead fly Chen Cang in the canteen today. Is it true or false?"

As the car started, Li Xiaoli put down her bag and gossiped with Liu ngting.

"I’m not sure either, Tang Ming, is that true?"

Liu ngting asked, turning to Tang Ming in the front.

"Can’t say I took care of him, just following your orders to make his nose bleed, that’s all,"

Tang Ming said absently.

Having read the comic book during class, Tang Ming was still thinking about the scenes from it, especially when he had just turned around to respond to Liu ngting; he had caught a glimpse of Li Xiaoli’s impressive... grandeur.

"Good heavens, how did this girl grow up like that."

Tang Ming was agitated, feeling extrely parched inside, and could only turn his head away, trying not to let his thoughts wander.

Outside Tianjiao High School.

School was already out, but Chen Cang was still with a bunch of underlings on the playground holding a eting called ’Ergency Combat Debrief’.

Chen Cang was one of Tianjiao High School’s tough guys! Usually, it was him bullying others—when had anyone ever bullied him?

The students at Tianjiao High School were either rich or noble; each of them ca from very wealthy backgrounds, and the tributes they paid to Chen Cang were also quite generous.

He could make over a hundred thousand in a month, which was crucial for him to take his brothers out partying.

If he really got taken down by Tang Ming, what would happen to his reputation? Who would continue paying him tribute?

Chen Cang’s family was indeed wealthy, but his father sent him here to study, not to entertain himself. Getting one or two ten thousand a month was already good; where would that be enough for him to squander?

So this eting was vitally important, with Chen Cang nobly declaring, ’Knowing oneself and the enemy ensures nurous victories in a hundred battles’.

"Monkey, why do all of you suddenly need to use the bathroom at the last minute?"

Chen Cang squatted under a tree, directly asking one of his scrawny underlings.

It was this kid and another who had first walked off because of stomach pains back in the cafeteria.

"Brother Cang, I’m not sure either, my stomach just suddenly started hurting along with Xiao Jun, and we both squatted in the toilet for over half an hour before we ca out! It was miserable; we’re still trembling when we walk."

Monkey was also full of confusion, and Xiao Jun standing next to him promptly nodded in agreent.

Chen Cang asked a few more underlings in succession, and they all said the sa thing: they didn’t know what was going on, but all of them had stomach aches and needed to use the toilet.

"Damn it, this is really strange, all of you have stomach aches out of nowhere, could you have gotten food poisoning?"

Chen Cang cursed as he asked.

"No way, we went straight to look for that punk after school, just got to the cafeteria, and didn’t even have ti to eat anything, Brother Cang, you were there too!"

Monkey scratched his head, puzzled.

"If you didn’t eat, how could you get food poisoning and have a collective stomachache?"

Chen Cang took a few steps, muttering to himself in wonder.

Nobody else could figure it out either, but Xiao Jun seed to have an idea and spoke up loud:

"Brother Cang, could it be because of the ice pops from that store before, maybe they were dirty and that’s why we got stomach pains?"

"Right, that’s possible! After class, we all gathered on that snack street outside the school, we didn’t eat anything else, we just had ice pops from one store, it must be their dirty ice pops that made us all get diarrhea."

Monkey also rembered, asserting confidently.

"Damn it, for sure it’s that shady shop selling contaminated ice pops."

Chen Cang cursed.

"But it seems like you didn’t get a stomachache, Brother Cang?"

Soone else raised a question.

"I was smoking at that ti; I didn’t even touch the ice pops from that place,"

Chen Cang roared exasperatedly.

"Right, I heard that after we left, you seed frozen, and even got beaten up by Zhou Dafu, that fatty. What’s that all about?"

Monkey asked curiously.

Chen Cang is not soone who would just take a beating from Zhou Dafu; there must be a reason for it!

On top of everyone’s stomachaches, Monkey, who was a bit shrewd, instantly suspected that Tang Ming might have used so sneaky trick.

Bringing up such an embarrassing incident, Chen Cang naturally looked quite displeased and said grumpily, "It was that bastard Tang Ming; he was too strong, pinned down, and so Zhou Dafu managed to land a few hits on . But I will definitely get my revenge."

In fact, Chen Cang also found it weird, as he had completely lost consciousness at that ti and couldn’t recall anything!

But he did not doubt for a second that he must have been scared stiff, had so kind of nervous breakdown, and that’s what caused his montary mory loss, having nothing to do with that kid Tang Ming.

And he was also aware that he could not make Tang Ming sound too formidable, otherwise his minions would be too scared to seek revenge.

"This kid is that strong? Then... can we beat him?"

Monkey was both surprised and worried.

"What’s impossible about that? That kid is all brute force! You can tell he’s from the countryside; one of those guys with the strength from hauling bricks on construction sites. Would he not be crushed by bricks otherwise?"

Chen Cang provoked with nonchalance: "What, are you guys too scared to take revenge now?"

"How could that be? After hearing what you said, Brother Cang, I too think that Tang Ming is just a bit strong. But he was just picked up by the Liu Family’s car at the school gate, and we can’t take our revenge right now."

Xiao Jun reminded from the side.
