Earlier, Tang Ming was dozing off while standing. After entering the lecture hall, he imdiately lay down on the desk and fell asleep, completely ignoring the counselor’s words.
Shao Wuyou grimaced, staring at Tang Ming. Hua Yingjie diligently took notes on everything the counselor said, while ng Xianjun looked disappointedly at the girls in the class.
"The student sleeping over there, stand up for ."
After an indefinite period, Zhang Mingli noticed soone was sleeping while he was speaking and imdiately slamd the table in anger.
"Hehe."
Seeing Tang Ming about to get into trouble, Shao Wuyou snickered mischievously.
"Hey, hey, hey, get up, he’s calling you."
ng Xianjun hurriedly pushed Tang Ming to wake him up.
"Hmm? What’s going on?"
Tang Ming groggily stood up, realizing everyone was staring at him: "Hello everyone, I’m Tang Ming, I’m from Songlan City in West Sea Province."
Upon hearing this, everyone burst into laughter.
"Who asked you to introduce yourself?"
Upon hearing this, Zhang Mingli’s face darkened as he slapped the table.
"Then why did you call ?"
Tang Ming rubbed his eyes, thinking it was ti for self-introduction after dividing into classes. Was there a mistake?
"It’s the first day of school, and you’re sleeping in class. Don’t you think that’s too much?"
Zhang Mingli looked coldly at Tang Ming. He had never encountered such an inconsiderate student in all his years of teaching.
"I guess it is a bit much; I’ll go back to the dormitory to sleep then."
Tang Ming nodded blankly and started to head outside.
All of a sudden, everyone was dumbfounded.
"Is he really leaving?"
Watching Tang Ming swagger out of the classroom like that, ng Xianjun was completely bewildered.
"He probably hasn’t fully woken up yet."
Hua Yingjie swallowed, uncertainly speculating.
It wasn’t until Tang Ming walked out of the classroom that Zhang Mingli at the podium finally reacted, while all the students in the classroom were stunned. It was too absurd.
"Damn it, which class is that guy in?"
Zhang Mingli’s face turned red as he shouted, feeling utterly humiliated in front of so many people.
No one spoke for a mont; it was the start of school, and everyone was unfamiliar with each other. Even ng Xianjun and Hua Yingjie kept their heads down, pretending not to know him.
"Report to the counselor, that person is Tang Ming from class 1, living in dorm 137."
At a loss for what to do, Shao Wuyou stood up excitedly and announced.
"Do you know him?"
Zhang Mingli looked at Shao Wuyou, unsure.
"We’re in the sa dormitory."
Shao Wuyou smiled and enthusiastically responded, "I can go bring him back."
"No need. After the eting, tell him to co to my office imdiately. This is unacceptable."
Zhang Mingli angrily slapped the table.
"Okay, I’ll definitely pass along the counselor’s ssage."
Shao Wuyou nodded quickly.
"What’s your na, and which class are you in?"
Zhang Mingli continued to inquire.
"I’m Shao Wuyou, also a student in dical Class 1."
Shao Wuyou quickly introduced himself.
"Good, you’re now the acting class monitor for Class 1."
Zhang Mingli waved his hand grandly and made a note in the records, "Now, I’ll appoint the acting class monitor for Class 2, anyone want to volunteer?"
...
"Traitor, lackey."
ng Xianjun looked at Shao Wuyou with disdain.
"Hehe, I didn’t lie. It’s that guy’s own doing."
Shao Wuyou straightened his clothes, "I didn’t expect to beco the class monitor just like that, feels great."
"It’s acting class monitor, temporarily helping the counselor manage the class. After military training, everyone will get to know each other, and we’ll have to re-elect."
Hua Yingjie earnestly repeated the counselor’s words.
"What a joke! Since I’m already the acting class monitor, the students will definitely support my work during this period. When it cos to the election, I’ll naturally still be the monitor."
Shao Wuyou confidently puffed out his chest. He was determined to secure the position of class monitor.
The eting continued as Tang Ming sleepily walked out of the classroom and really went back to the dormitory to catch up on sleep.
The previous incident wasn’t intentional disruption; he was genuinely too sleepy and thus missed all the arrangents on the first day of school. Fortunately, Hua Yingjie and ng Xianjun were quite helpful and handled everything for him.
Around eleven o’clock, ng Xianjun and Hua Yingjie returned to the dormitory with a pile of stuff, only to find Tang Ming sleeping like a log, leaving them speechless.
"Old ng, what kind of monster is this guy? It’s one thing to be able to handle a tough guy like Shao Wuyou, but today he openly offended the counselor, making a fool of himself in front of three classes. Is he crazy for fa?"
ng Xianjun put down the stuff, puzzled, examining Tang Ming.
"I don’t know if he wants to be famous, but now his reputation among the freshn in our dical College is really high."
Hua Yingjie snickered, "Now everyone knows there’s a guy nad Tang Ming who slept in class on the first day and stood up both the counselor and many people."
"Sigh, although his distinct style isn’t bad, attending university ans following university rules. Acting like this will eventually get him expelled."
ng Xianjun sighed helplessly.
"Imperial University is full of hidden talents; offending the counselor is one thing, but truly provoking so powerful figures would be really unlucky."
Hua Yingjie shook his head, sighing with worry, "I’m just worried Shao Wuyou won’t get along with him. We’re all in the sa dormitory, but seeing how they both are, I doubt they want to live peacefully."
"Headache."
ng Xianjun rubbed his head and kicked Tang Ming’s butt lightly, "Get up, sleeping any longer will be the death of you."
"What’s going on, let sleep a little longer."
Tang Ming groggily waved his hand, grumbling unhappily.
"You’ve got quite the nerve, even after offending the counselor you can still sleep soundly, hurry up and get up."
ng Xianjun irritably pulled Tang Ming off the bed.
"What’s the matter?"
Tang Ming sat up groggily, looking displeased.
"Do you rember what you did this morning?"
ng Xianjun shook Tang Ming’s shoulders, asking uncertainly.
"Wasn’t I sleeping the whole ti? Did I do sothing this morning?"
Tang Ming yawned, uncertainly looking at ng Xianjun.
"Damn it, this guy went to orientation half-asleep this morning."
ng Xianjun’s mouth twitched, speechlessly looking at Hua Yingjie.
"Wash your face and sober up, quick."
Hua Yingjie was equally speechless at Tang Ming.
"It’s already noon, hurry up and wash your face."
ng Xianjun dragged Tang Ming off the bed and pushed him into the bathroom.
"Is it noon already? Those two aunts will probably summon ."
Tang Ming quickly freshened up and returned to the dormitory, "Why are you guys up so early?"
"Early? It’s already noon. We’ve been busy in class all morning, and you’re doing nothing?"
ng Xianjun grumbled while sorting out the camo uniform, "Hurry over and try on the military training clothes, see if they fit."
