"Damn..."

Tang Ming felt an urge to vomit blood.

"What did you do in the hotel room last night?"

Shen Bing continued to inquire.

"I was... I was sleeping."

Tang Ming rolled his eyes; there was no need to tell these crazy doctors about what happened with Su Xiaoxi.

"Alright, then take this test first."

Shen Bing handed Tang Ming an entire questionnaire with a smile.

"Can taking a test prove I’m not sick?"

Tang Ming looked at Shen Bing uncertainly.

"Hehe, just give it a try."

Shen Bing did not give a definite answer.

"This is ridiculous."

Tang Ming took the paper and pen and imdiately began answering the questions, which were all multiple-choice questions to test human thinking.

"Here, take a look. I’m really not sick."

Tang Ming handed the test paper to Shen Bing, looking hopeful.

"Very good."

Shen Bing took the test paper and then walked out.

"Is that it? When will I be released?"

Tang Ming called out anxiously, but the nurse closed the ward again.

"A bunch of lunatics, can’t tell the good from the bad?"

Tang Ming was so angry his teeth hurt, yet he was helpless.

Shen Bing left the ward, wrote a prescription for Tang Ming’s dication, and passed it to the nurse.

"Doctor, what’s the patient’s condition?"

The nurse asked Shen Bing uncertainly.

"The condition isn’t very serious; it’s mainly delusional disorder."

Walking, Shen Bing smiled and explained, "Apart from hiding the delusional elents, these patients are generally indistinguishable from normal people."

"When can he be cured?"

The nurse beca curious.

"Let’s observe for a few days and see how it goes."

Shen Bing sighed, "If not treated promptly, the situation can beco serious. Right now, he’s just simply fantasizing about a female partner, but if it worsens, no one can guarantee he won’t act on these fantasies."

"What do you an?"

The nurse looked puzzled.

"Simply put, nine out of ten perverted sex offenders evolve from delusional disorder. Initially, they rely fantasize, but later they may carry out their fantasies on won, understand?"

Shen Bing explained with a smile.

"Hiss, could he have already beco a perverted sex offender?"

The nurse imdiately beca anxious and crossed her arms.

"Probably not, thankfully he was sent here in ti."

Shen Bing shook his head and then returned to the office to call Liu ngting and the others to report the situation.

Upon hearing Tang Ming might beco a perverted sex offender, Liu ngting and the others panicked.

All the girls felt insecure, while the boys were baffled: how did Tang Ming, surrounded by so many beauties, end up like this?

Regarding this matter, Liu ngting and Li Xiaoli felt deeply guilty; both of them believed it was their constant sabotage of Tang Ming’s attempts to woo girls that cast a shadow on him, ultimately leading to his condition.

Tang Ming was incredibly disheartened, locked in the psychiatric hospital, repeatedly trying to escape, but his physical condition didn’t allow it, so he was always caught and brought back.

The more this happened, the more the hospital staff treated him as ntally ill, and the dication kept increasing.

Finally, Tang Ming just gave up and accepted his fate.

In the evening, during free ti for patients, Tang Ming went to the courtyard with a group of patients to freely move about.

Watching the eccentric behavior of patients around him, Tang Ming felt like crying in despair and sat on a chair sighing.

"Hey, are you new here?"

Just then, a middle-aged man with a bald head and a full beard approached Tang Ming for a chat.

"Uh, what’s up?"

Tang Ming lifelessly glanced at the middle-aged man.

"I knew you were new; those guys over there said you weren’t."

The middle-aged man grinned at Tang Ming and pointed to a group sitting not far away, "We bet on whether you’re smart or a fool."

"Haha..."

Tang Ming rolled his eyes and laughed, "With my IQ, you’d have to subtract twenty to barely count as exceptional. Do you think I’m smart or a fool?"

"Really? Then tell what the origin of the universe is, and what kind of world we’re in?"

The middle-aged man looked at Tang Ming with anticipation.

"I..."

Hearing this, Tang Ming nearly bit his tongue; is this what ntal patients discuss?

"Why aren’t you saying anything?"

The middle-aged man looked at Tang Ming displeased.

"This question is too profound, do you know the answer?"

Tang Ming’s mouth twitched, and he wickedly retorted.

"Of course I do. In fact, we all live in soone else’s program. In certain people’s eyes, our world is virtual."

The middle-aged man beca excited and sat next to Tang Ming, "You should know about computers and the internet, right?"

"I do, why?"

Tang Ming nodded blankly.

"In the internet world, humans are creators; they can create things within the network through programming. So why can’t humans be creations of a higher-level creature?"

The middle-aged man asked seriously.

"I..."

"Have you seen The Matrix? After the protagonist enters the network world, everyone there is program-generated, yet they remain unaware, much like us, isn’t it?"

The middle-aged man eloquently explained.

"It sounds like there’s a bit of truth to it."

Listening for a while, Tang Ming began to feel confused. This guy’s thoughts were rigorous, logic clear, not showing any sign of ntal illness.

"Ugh! I can’t believe I’m sitting here listening to a ntal patient lecturing ; I’m losing it."

After a long ti, Tang Ming snapped out of it and looked at the middle-aged man angrily, "I’m a normal person; I’m not interested in your nonsense."

"Normal person? Haha, everyone here is normal; you’re just a fool."

The middle-aged man sneered dismissively, "Looks like I won; you really haven’t got much intelligence."

"Damn it... You’re the fool!"

Being looked down upon by a ntal patient, Tang Ming instantly beca furious.

"Okay, okay, let ask you one more question. If you can answer correctly, it’ll prove you’re smart, deal?"

"You won’t ask sothing like the mysteries of the universe again, will you?"

Tang Ming watched him cautiously.

"Rest assured, it’s the simplest question."

The middle-aged man chuckled, "Tell , was it the egg or the chicken first?"

"For crying out loud, are you playing with ? This is a question that hasn’t been answered throughout history; how could I know?"

Tang Ming exploded in frustration.

"Truly an idiot, so naive."

The middle-aged man stood up disdainfully, "I’ve already told you, our world is a program. Whether it was the egg or the chicken first depends on what the program creator decided to set first."

"I..."

Tang Ming clutched his chest, nearly vomiting blood.
