Liu ngting’s personality was more reserved, and she also wanted to learn how to drive, so she slowly began to figure things out on a solo race car ga. Just when Li Xiaoli was enthusiastically ready to tackle the next level, a man in his twenties ca over and directly dropped a Ga Coin into her machine, turning the solo fighting ga into a two-player duel mode instantly.
"What are you doing, seriously?"
Li Xiaoli said unhappily.
The young man laughed and said,
"Beauty, I saw you playing so intensely, I ca over to give you a little practice. What’s the fun in fighting a computer? Isn’t it better for us to PK each other?"
"Okay, watch how I beat you till you cry!"
Li Xiaoli was annoyed internally, quickly chose her ace character, and plunged into the fight.
However, their fighting skills were not on the sa level. Li Xiaoli, who seldom ca to Ga City, found all her attacks effortlessly countered by the young man, and she was swiftly knocked out with no health left.
According to the arcade machine’s rules, since Li Xiaoli lost, she couldn’t play anymore. The young man took over her ga, which imdiately infuriated her. She angrily said, "You are so annoying, just when I had finally beaten a few bosses, you took over. I’m done, this is so disappointing."
The young man teased, "Don’t be mad, beauty. Let’s get to know each other."
"Who wants to know you, seriously?"
Li Xiaoli left the arcade machine and said sourly.
"How about this? You give your phone number, and I’ll let you have my spot so you can keep playing."
The young man kept pestering.
Li Xiaoli thought for a mont, then suddenly said, "Then... I’ll give you my number, and you leave the spot for , don’t bother here."
"Deal."
The young man was inwardly delighted, quietly agreeing.
Li Xiaoli quickly recited her phone number, and, true to his word, the young man vacated the spot.
"See you later."
The young man smiled and left, picking another arcade machine to play, but his eyes occasionally flitted back to Li Xiaoli’s machine, keeping an eye on her.
After about fifteen minutes, Li Xiaoli still lost to the fifth level’s boss, angrily slamming the machine. By this ti, Liu ngting, also having lost interest, ca over to her.
"Xiaoli, shall we go?"
Liu ngting asked.
"Wait for , ng ng, I’m just going to the restroom."
Li Xiaoli quickly ran to the restroom.
The young man, montarily distracted, looked back to the machine Li Xiaoli was at only to find it empty, puzzled, it was only minutes since he last checked.
So, he took out his phone and called, hoping to invite Li Xiaoli out for a al to chat and potentially, if the chance arose, maybe even spend the night together.
"Beauty, where did you go? I can’t find you."
The young man asked as soon as the call connected.
On the other end of the line was Chen Cang, lying in a hospital room, who replied bewilderedly and angrily, "Fuck off, who the hell are you?"
Realizing a man had answered, the young man paused, wondering if the call had been misdirected, then hung up and redialed.
Chen Cang frowned at the incoming call from the sa number, continued angrily, "Who the fuck are you? Can’t you stop bothering , or do you want to punch you?"
The young man curiously asked, "Who are you? Is this your phone number?"
"It’s not mine, is it yours? Hilarious, I’m your brother Cang."
Chen Cang, furious, hung up directly.
The young man, holding his phone, muttered, "Sothing’s not right. Was I played?"
Thinking of this, the young man suddenly felt a surge of anger in his stomach and rushed to the exit of Ga City to see if he could find Li Xiaoli.
Just as he arrived at the exit, he ran into Li Xiaoli and Liu ngting, arm in arm, walking out. The young man imdiately confronted them, "Hey, I called you earlier, but a man answered. What’s that about?"
"Oh."
Li Xiaoli’s face flushed with embarrassnt as she chuckled awkwardly, "I left my phone at ho, it might have been my brother who answered."
"I see."
The young man suddenly realized and invited with a smile, "It’s fate that we t. How about we have dinner together?"
"Dinner?"
Li Xiaoli shook her head, "We’re in a hurry to get back, no need for dinner."
anwhile, at the bar outside Ga City, Tang Ming bought two drinks and bumped into a woman, Su Xiaoxi.
"Is that you?"
Tang Ming was sowhat surprised to see Su Xiaoxi.
"Indeed, it’s ."
Su Xiaoxi said with a smile:
"Tang Ming, right? Last ti you pretended to be my boyfriend, and here we et again. We really must be fated."
"To think I run into you just coming out to buy a bottle of water."
Tang Ming didn’t really think much of it.
"How about this, co with to Ga City to play so gas?"
Su Xiaoxi pointed inside Ga City as she spoke.
"Play gas?"
Tang Ming wasn’t interested in those electronic gas. Earlier, when Liu ngting and the others went to play, he didn’t participate, and he certainly wouldn’t join Su Xiaoxi as he shook his head, "No thanks, I’m not interested."
Su Xiaoxi stomped her foot and protested, "Just co and play for a bit."
"If you want to hire like last ti that’s one thing, but no thanks otherwise."
Tang Ming straightforwardly refused.
Su Xiaoxi was sowhat displeased:
"Don’t place so much importance on money, okay? We do know each other after all. You know that Ga City is full of all sorts, it isn’t safe for a girl to go in there alone."
Tang Ming couldn’t be bothered with her and took out his phone to call Li Xiaoli, asking when they could leave.
As her phone rang, Li Xiaoli instinctively reached into her bag for her phone, but her expression soured imdiately. The young man was still beside her, glaring at her phone with eyes that nearly spat fire, obviously displeased by her trickery.
Li Xiaoli held her phone, exceedingly embarrassed.
The young man angrily demanded, "Didn’t you say you didn’t bring your phone? Why are you pulling it out now? You’re obviously tricking !"
"Actually, it’s not what you think."
Upon seeing the man’s aggression, Li Xiaoli quickly tried to explain.
anwhile, Liu ngting, also annoyed by this man, scolded, "Can you be any more annoying? We don’t want to give you our number. Just take a hint and leave, why keep pestering us? Is it really necessary?"
"Hmph, I must find out your numbers today."
The young man was relentless, reaching out to snatch Li Xiaoli’s phone.
Li Xiaoli quickly dodged and answered the call, shouting, "Tang Ming, big brother, co and save us! Soone is trying to hit and ng ng sister!"
