Everyone who had been investigating Tang Ming’s background was astounded by his identity as a disciple of the Heavenly chanism Sect. Those who were on good terms with Tang Ming were thrilled, while those who were enemies cursed their luck.

Actually, experts from the Zhao Family and the Liu Family also watched the battle between Tang Ming and Sakai Ryuuichi. They were sent to the Imperial City for two reasons: to investigate the Huaxia Secret Technique and to avenge the sect’s disciples. However, now that they knew Tang Ming was from the Heavenly chanism Sect, they dared not make a move.

Although the Zhao Family and the Liu Family are part of the Hidden Force, they are considered minor factions, whereas the Heavenly chanism Sect is a true powerhouse. Even if they were given the courage, they wouldn’t dare provoke Tang Ming. Angering the Heavenly chanism Sect would spell disaster.

Tang Ming himself never imagined that, during his duel with Sakai Ryuuichi, claiming to be from the Heavenly chanism Sect not only resolved a major crisis but also concealed the Huaxia Secret Technique and successfully redirected attention. It was a brilliant one-shot, multiple-hit plan!

Tang Ming napped in his dorm room all afternoon. During this ti, various Martial Arts factions withdrew from the Imperial City, returning the city to its usual tranquility.

In the evening, Tang Ming woke up hungry. Upon getting out of bed, he noticed that only Hua Yingjie was studying under the lamp, with his other two roommates nowhere to be seen.

"I should go eat as well."

After washing up briefly, Tang Ming left the dorm, intending to find Liu ngting for a al.

Arriving below the girls’ dormitory, just as he was about to call Liu ngting, he saw Feng Liubing holding a large bouquet of roses kneeling at the entrance, surrounded by many onlookers.

"What’s happening here?"

Tang Ming stepped forward to inquire the situation.

"Ah, young lovers breaking up!"

"The guy got dumped by his girlfriend but refused to let go, so he’s kneeling relentlessly outside the girls’ dorm."

"What a disgrace to n, truly humiliating."

"That’s right, no wonder he got dumped; no woman likes soone so spineless."

"They say the girl is so scared she doesn’t dare leave the room and is crying inside."

...

A crowd was gossiping animatedly.

"This guy sure is persistent?"

Tang Ming looked at Feng Liubing with surprise, glanced at the dorm where Liu ngting and Li Xiaoli lived, and laughed: "Serves him right! See what trouble you’ve brought upon yourself, let’s see how cocky you are now."

Realizing that Li Xiaoli wouldn’t co out, and Liu ngting was probably accompanying her, Tang Ming decided not to contact Liu ngting but instead called Lu Xiaolu to have dinner together.

Lu Xiaolu joyfully joined Tang Ming for dinner at the cafeteria, and the two walked hand in hand on the playground afterward.

Hearing Tang Ming recounting Li Xiaoli’s story, Lu Xiaolu clicked her tongue in wonder.

"Wow! Li Xiaoli really went overboard. When you took people to catch him cheating, what would you have done if the guy wasn’t my brother?"

Lu Xiaolu hugged Tang Ming’s arm and asked curiously.

"I don’t know either."

Tang Ming shrugged.

"Hmph, that ans you don’t care about at all."

Lu Xiaolu huffed discontentedly.

"Hehe, what do you an? Are you implying I should have dealt with you two—those adulterous, wild lovers?"

Tang Ming looked at Lu Xiaolu with bewildernt.

"Who’s the wild lover here! That’s my brother."

Lu Xiaolu declared imdiately and then shook Tang Ming’s arm: "Don’t worry! I’m not so naive girl who hasn’t seen the world. I’ve been through a lot and seen too many n, you’re the best. I would never cheat."

"Is that really true?"

Tang Ming stopped walking and looked at Lu Xiaolu calmly.

"Of course it’s true. I’ve t n richer and more handso than you, but none as charismatic."

Lu Xiaolu looked at Tang Ming sincerely, "Actually, I considered it carefully before declaring myself your girlfriend. Although you have many won around you, you deserve even more because you’re outstanding."

"That’s a fresh perspective."

Tang Ming stroked his chin; he had never sat down for a aningful conversation with Lu Xiaolu before.

"Ah! All n are the sa, whether rich or powerful, wanting multiple won. I saw through this long ago."

Lu Xiaolu sighed and hugged Tang Ming willingly: "Better to share an extrely outstanding man than to settle for an ordinary, incompetent one, right?"

"Hehe, this theory might work for won, but not for n."

Tang Ming chuckled.

"Hah! I wouldn’t be so sure. Throughout history, weren’t those famous courtesans surrounded by countless n? Those n all yielded under the charm of exceptional won."

"This..."

Tang Ming was suddenly speechless against Lu Xiaolu’s argunt; then quickly wrapped his arm around her waist: "How about we go out tonight?"

"Huh? Go to a hotel?"

Lu Xiaolu exclaid.

"What, you don’t want to?"

Tang Ming asked in return.

"Oh, stop teasing! I’ll be yours eventually, why wouldn’t I want to? Or we could just stay on the playground?"

Lu Xiaolu shot Tang Ming a flirtatious glance: "It’s pitch dark around now, no one can see."

"Ahem, keep calm."

Seeing Lu Xiaolu’s boldness, Tang Ming suddenly beca apprehensive.

"What are you afraid of? Haven’t you heard that famous couplet?"

Lu Xiaolu shook Tang Ming vigorously: "Shanghai’s water flows from the sea."

"This..."

Tang Ming repeated it, and after pondering for a long ti, he couldn’t think of another line: "This must be a uniquely absolute couplet, without a match, right?"

"Hehe, there’s actually a matching line."

Lu Xiaolu giggled mischievously, leaned close to Tang Ming’s ear, and whispered: "Tomorrow, at the playground, going at it till dawn."

Tang Ming’s mouth twitched; this pair was genius!

"How about it, first at the playground, then a hotel. I can’t wait anymore."

Lu Xiaolu urged impatiently.

"Seriously, do you think I’m a pushover?"

Tang Ming scooped Lu Xiaolu up, looked around quickly, and ran toward a dim corner of the playground.

A beauty being so forward, if I hesitated, can I still call myself a man?

"Tang Ming!"

Just as Tang Ming took Lu Xiaolu to the spot, frantically pulling at clothes, a cold voice suddenly erged.

"Huh?"

Tang Ming paused, turning to see Zhuge Qing in a white outfit glaring at him.

"Ghost!"

Lu Xiaolu, with her clothes partially undone, fearfully tightened her clothes and shrieked.

At this mont, although Zhuge Qing stood in darkness, Lu Xiaolu could see everything about him eerily.

"Shut up, you..."

Zhuge Qing rebuked, but his eyes stopped abruptly at Lu Xiaolu’s waist.

"Hey, you’re overstepping. It’s bad enough to interrupt and my woman, but to gawp at her like that?"

Tang Ming quickly stood up to shield Lu Xiaolu, dressing himself while glaring angrily at Zhuge Qing.
