"That’s right, don’t disturb him."

Old Li nodded in agreent.

Tang Ming glanced at Tan Yongsheng, took out his needle bag, and placed it on the table: "Little friend, big brother will treat your illness now and guarantee that you won’t suffer from pain anymore."

"Great, great, thank you so much, big brother."

The little boy nodded repeatedly and then obediently lay down.

"Tang Ming, what exactly are you trying to do?"

Seeing Tang Ming playing by his own rules, Tan Yongsheng imdiately stepped forward to stop him.

"I’m going to treat him, you get out."

As Tan Yongsheng lunged towards him, Tang Ming countered with a push, directly shoving him out the door.

"Hissing sounds of indrawn breath."

The sound of gasping filled the air. Tang Ming actually dared to lay hands on the dean; it seed he didn’t want to remain at the school.

"This bastard..."

Tan Yongsheng was furious and imdiately looked at the two old professors: "Esteed professors, this young man is completely disregarding the rules; we should disqualify him imdiately."

"I think that’s fair."

Old Zhang nodded leisurely.

"Wait a mont."

Old Li was staring intently at Tang Ming, "Is he performing acupuncture?"

The group watched as Tang Ming swiftly undid the boy’s shirt, rapidly inserting silver needles into his chest with practiced skill, akin to flowing cloud, dazzling all who observed.

"Wonderful! Tang Ming’s acupuncture technique is even more marvelous than the Heavenly dicine Sect’s."

Hua Yingjie watched Tang Ming with shining eyes: "Not only did he diagnose the boy’s condition, but he’s also treating him directly. Remarkable!"

"Such skill."

Seeing Tang Ming’s acupuncture, Old Li’s eyes lit up. As a master in Traditional Chinese dicine, he had reached this age without being able to apply needles as swiftly as Tang Ming.

After a dozen minutes, Tang Ming stopped, smiling as he looked at the little boy: "How do you feel now?"

"So comfortable!"

The boy breathed deeply with a look of enjoynt: "It used to hurt when I breathed, making want to cough, but now that feeling is completely gone... Can I take this off?"

"Of course, soon you’ll be completely healed."

Tang Ming nodded with a smile.

After so ti, Tang Ming removed the silver needles.

"Wow, I’m really better; I’m completely better."

The boy eagerly jumped off the bed, bouncing and jumping around the room, taking in gulps of fresh air, completely unlike a sick patient.

Tang Ming smiled at the boy, picked up pen and paper, casually wrote out a prescription, and tossed it to Tan Yongsheng: "Get the dicine according to this, and after three courses, he’ll be completely cured, never to relapse."

With that said, Tang Ming headed to another ward to diagnose other patients.

"Is this truly possible?"

Watching the boy bounce around, everyone was stunned. Could it be that Tang Ming had arranged for an actor? He had been sickly just monts before but was now healed—was it even possible?

The two old professors were even more shocked. Pulmonary tuberculosis was once considered an incurable disease and remains a difficult condition to treat today. Yet Tang Ming managed to handle a patient within half an hour and assured complete recovery. Simply...

"Little friend, let give you an examination."

Old Zhao, having recovered from his shock, imdiately rushed into the ward, using dical instrunts to perform a detailed Western dical examination on the boy. He was shocked to find that the boy’s previously affected lungs were healed, only requiring so recuperation to regain full health, completely overturning his understanding.

Tang Ming didn’t care about the thoughts of those around him. In front of his patients, there was only one identity suited to him, and that was as a doctor. Saving lives and healing ailnts was everything to him; he had already forgotten about the examination and dical competition.

Under the watchful gazes of the amazed crowd, Tang Ming cured all ten patients, except for one car accident victim who had been amputated and couldn’t regenerate the limb. All others regained their health.

"Amazing! Divine Doctor! Divine Doctor!"

ng Xianjun and Hua Yingjie embraced in excitent, having been completely won over by Tang Ming’s thods.

Others were equally astounded, while Tan Yongsheng and the two old professors felt guilty. The dical skills Tang Ming had shown surpassed theirs, and he almost got eliminated.

"Mission accomplished!"

Tang Ming wiped his sweat, noting that without cultivation to support him, treating so many people was a great drain on his energy.

"Thank you, Divine Doctor. Thank you."

A group of cured patients expressed their gratitude to Tang Ming.

"You’re welco. I’m a doctor; healing and saving lives is my duty."

Tang Ming humbly replied, then turned to face Tan Yongsheng and the two professors.

"Ahem, you really have the ability."

Tan Yongsheng looked awkwardly at Tang Ming.

"Good, good, simply splendid. You’ve passed the assessnt. I believe you can shine in the dical competition representing Imperial University."

Old Li exclaid excitedly.

"Assessnt? Do you think I healed and saved lives to pass your assessnt?"

Tang Ming’s face turned peculiar as he disdainfully looked at Tan Yongsheng and the others: "To hang the pot for the public, to heal and save lives, this should be the core principle of a doctor. Yet you treat it as a standard and competition, I, Tang Ming, refuse to associate with the likes of you."

With that said, Tang Ming strode towards the exit.

"Where are you going? Won’t you participate in the dical competition?"

Tan Yongsheng shouted anxiously.

"A glimpse reveals the whole picture. With such displays, I have no interest in your so-called dical competition."

Tang Ming turned and looked peculiarly at Old Li: "Old Professor Li, you are hailed as a master of Traditional Chinese dicine, but do you know you’ve contracted a terminal illness?"

"Outrageous! Even if you have so skills, Tang Ming, you can’t speak to Old Professor Li so rudely!"

Tan Yongsheng burst into anger.

"Little Tan, let him finish."

Old Li observed Tang Ming with curiosity. He had previously thought Tang Ming was a fool, thus his repeated harassnt. Now seeing tangible skill, it was different.

"Little friend, both Old Li and I are dical experts, and we haven’t seen anything wrong with Old Li’s health. How did you notice it?"

Old Zhang looked at Tang Ming with curiosity.

"Observation."

Tang Ming uttered four words and then asked Old Li: "Do you feel night sweats and shortness of breath every night at midnight?"

"How do you know?"

Old Li looked at Tang Ming with surprise and suspicion.

"Do you often feel chest tightness and shortness of breath when standing up after sitting or lying down for a long ti?"

"You knew that too?"

Old Li was shocked.

"Heh, now try pressing between the third and fourth ribs on your left chest, and see if you feel severe pain?"

Tang Ming did not answer, continuing to ask.

Old Li quickly placed his hand where Tang Ming indicated, then shook his head: "There’s no pain, you..."

"Press harder."

"Ah!"
