A globally limited edition gold Rolls-Royce Phantom stopped right opposite the cruise’s spiral staircase. Several anxious and wealthy-looking n and won stood by the car, eagerly waiting, among them was Mu Madam, whom Tang Ming and Li Xiaoli had t once.

With the help of a servant, Mu Zixin slowly walked down the stairs. Before reaching the ground, she glanced at Tang Ming and Li Xiaoli with a complex expression.

"Wow, I knew Mu Zixin’s family was wealthy before, but I didn’t expect them to be this rich."

Li Xiaoli stood beside Tang Ming, incredulously looking at the rows of luxury cars below: "They’re all Bentleys; these must cost at least several billion combined, right?"

"They’re all limited editions; even if you have money, you can’t buy them."

Tang Ming whispered softly.

"Oh, oh, oh, they look so impressive."

Li Xiaoli nodded repeatedly.

"Mr. Tang, Miss Xiaoli, shall we go down too?"

Mu Tianhe respectfully stood beside Tang Ming and extended an invitation.

"Thank you."

Tang Ming responded and then led Li Xiaoli off the ship.

"Sweetie, you’re finally back. I was worried sick!"

Mu Madam imdiately rushed towards Mu Zixin: "I told you before not to go to the Imperial City for school; if you’d stayed ho, you wouldn’t have encountered such things."

"It’s alright, Mom, isn’t it good that I’m back now?"

Mu Zixin replied with a smile.

"You’ve gotten tanned, and lost weight. My darling must have suffered a lot, sob, sob."

Mu Madam grabbed onto Mu Zixin with affection and reluctance. She had never let Mu Zixin suffer even a bit before, and thinking about her child living on a deserted island for so long was heart-wrenching.

"No worries, isn’t it good that I’m fine now?"

Mu Zixin couldn’t help but cry. Despite the hardship, she realized just how pampered her previous life was. If it weren’t for Tang Ming, she might have died on the first day.

"Alright, alright, let’s talk at ho later."

A stern-looking middle-aged man, slightly murmuring with red eyes, tried to maintain calmness while chiding.

"Dad."

Mu Zixin turned to the middle-aged man, tears streaming down uncontrollably.

"It’s good that you’re back, it’s good."

Mu Tianyang smiled, then looked at Tang Ming and Li Xiaoli: "Are these your classmates?"

"Yes. This is Tang Ming; if it weren’t for him, I wouldn’t have survived this long. And this is Li Xiaoli, my roommate."

Mu Zixin quickly introduced them: "This is my father, Mu Tianyang."

"Oh my, isn’t this the one often seen on TV?"

Li Xiaoli, in disbelief, held onto Tang Ming’s hand.

"Mu Tianyang, Island Master of Glazed Island."

Tang Ming nodded and courteously greeted Mu Tianyang.

"Good, this ti you saved my daughter’s life. Our Mu Family will definitely thank you generously."

Mu Tianyang solemnly promised.

"Hmph! It seems like this person arranged for the private flight, which then went wrong, right?"

At this mont, a young man dressed in a white Zhongshan suit, similar in age to Tang Ming and others, sneered with disdain: "I think soone deliberately wanted to get close to the Mu Family and staged this drama."

"Brother Jie, it was an accident; no one can be blad."

Mu Zixin quickly explained.

"Xinxin, you’re too kind-hearted. Are you okay?"

Ma Jie hurried forward and held Mu Zixin’s hand.

"I’m fine."

Mu Zixin quickly withdrew her hand and lowered her head.

"You..."

Ma Jie’s face stiffened, feeling that Mu Zixin had changed.

"This person seems to be your rival in love, eh?"

Seeing the other party’s actions, Li Xiaoli looked at Tang Ming with concern.

"Don’t gossip; I have no relationship whatsoever with Miss Mu."

Tang Ming quickly whispered a reminder, beginning to understand Mu Zixin’s concerns. It seed that the situation here was quite complicated.

"Well, since you’re back, let’s go to the mansion first and talk slowly later."

Seeing his daughter return, Mu Tianhe was very happy and promptly arranged Tang Ming and Li Xiaoli in one of the cars, then took Mu Zixin and left the dock.

Li Xiaoli and Tang Ming sat in the back of a Bentley, with a designated driver. The car followed behind the Mu family’s Bentley, surrounded by other Bentleys.

Once the car hit the road, Tang Ming witnessed the Mu family’s influence on Glazed Island. Police cars cleared the way, traffic officers directly blocked streets, and the grand convoy drove on the roads without any obstruction, as citizens and vehicles were completely shut out.

"Wow, the Mu family’s status on Glazed Island is really high, eh."

Li Xiaoli leaned against the window, looking around with amazent.

Tang Ming furrowed his brows and asked the driver, "Mister, are all the people here to pick Mu Zixin from the Mu Family?"

"Of course... Apart from Young Master Ma, all are from the Mu Family. However, only the family head’s direct lineage is here; others wait at the mansion."

The driver thought for a mont and answered with a smile: "Young Master Ma grew up with Miss Mu, so he’s not considered an outsider."

"Who’s Young Master Ma, eh?"

Li Xiaoli quickly asked.

"The Ma Family’s young master. On Glazed Island, there are only two families: the Ma Family and the Mu Family. Our Mu Family is a hidden comrcial family, while the Ma Family is a hidden Martial Arts family. Together, they maintain Glazed Island’s stability and prosperity."

The driver proudly introduced.

"There are hidden families here?"

Tang Ming’s face grew serious. If it’s just a hidden comrcial family, it’s not too fearso. But with hidden families involved, things beco quite tricky as such forces often have Martial General experts stationed.

Thinking about it, Tang Ming could understand that a hidden comrcial family, no matter how mighty, ultimately only possesses wealth. Even if they could hire so experts to station, they’d need to guard against those experts betraying them, since money can be quite a problematic thing.

For a flourishing place like Glazed Island, a single hidden comrcial family would find it hard to control, as countless people would covet this piece of rich land, requiring hidden family’s martial power to maintain peace and prosperity.

Considering these, Tang Ming suddenly understood Mu Zixin’s concerns.

It only took a bit of thinking for Tang Ming to realize the Mu and Ma families must rely on marriage alliances to maintain their relationship, a bond sustained over generations. In theory, Mu Zixin would be the Ma family’s future wife. If people knew Tang Ming and Mu Zixin had "that" kind of relationship, it would be a huge disgrace for both families.

"Xiaoli."

Tang Ming suddenly hugged Li Xiaoli.

"Ah? What’s up, eh?"

Embraced by Tang Ming, Li Xiaoli was startled and confused.

"Nothing, just missing you."

Tang Ming smiled lightly.

"Oh my, you aren’t thinking of kissing in the car, are you? We’re not on the island; that would be humiliating, eh."

Li Xiaoli blushed, timidly glancing at the driver.

"I..."

Tang Ming’s mouth twitched slightly, secretly beginning to write in Li Xiaoli’s palm.
