The chubby guy nodded happily.
At the school gate’s security room, Lin Xue, dressed in a uniform, sat on a chair, while the elderly security guard, who was over fifty, offered her boiling water and cigarettes, but she declined them all.
Lin Xue was speechless. Did she look like soone who smoked because she was cute?
The old security guard was a chatterbox, always finding an excuse to chat, "Comrade officer, what exactly did the students do this ti?"
"They didn’t do anything, just so personal matters."
Lin Xue answered casually.
The old security guard continued, "That’s good then, I was afraid they might stir up so trouble..."
Lin Xue didn’t engage further, just then, footsteps were heard from outside, and through the glass, she saw the chubby guy walking over with Tang Ming.
"Oh, it’s you, Officer Lin."
Upon seeing Lin Xue, Tang Ming felt a bit intimidated, virtually scared, actually.
After arriving in Songlan City, Lin Xue was the only person Tang Ming was wary of; her strong sense of justice was good, but always treating him like the bad guy was frustrating, plus, she was Lin Canghai’s sister, soone he couldn’t afford to provoke, and she kept bothering him!
"Did you kill a small Caucasian sheepdog yesterday?"
Lin Xue asked straightforwardly with a stern face!
Without hesitation, Tang Ming...denied it: "No!"

Upon seeing Tang Ming’s very serious deanor, Lin Xue was convinced it must be him, probably thinking she was here to catch him: "Relax, I’m not here to arrest you this ti. I am a person who distinguishes clearly between gratitude and grudges! Do you know about the Qin Family..."
Still distinguishing between gratitude and grudges? Tang Ming was sowhat speechless, but glad she wasn’t here to arrest him. He didn’t care much about the rest, so he didn’t really hear what Lin Xue said afterward.
"Hey, hey!" Seeing Tang Ming’s distracted look, Lin Xue imdiately scolded in dissatisfaction, "I’m talking to you! You must be destined to be a thief, even your good deeds are misunderstood as bad ones!"
Tang Ming was startled by Lin Xue’s shout, "It’s true, whenever I do good, you say it’s bad. Since you’re not here to catch , why are you here then?"
"I talked a lot, for nothing!"
Lin Xue was very frustrated and reminded him, "The owner of that dog is very powerful and is now searching everywhere for the person who killed the dog. You’d better lay low!"
"Why should I hide?"
Tang Ming was careless, "His dog almost killed soone. Shouldn’t he be the one hiding? If I see him, I’ll bite him dead!"
"You... That dog belongs to the Qin Family from Songlan City, a newly rising Martial Arts Family, recently gaining popularity, not soone you can afford to ss with!"

Lin Xue was montarily taken aback.
"I get it now, you keep finding trouble with just to catch my attention and make a deeper impression on !"
Tang Ming clapped his hands and said speechlessly, "Your way of showing affection is really special!"
"Nonsense, how could I possibly like you!"
Lin Xue’s face turned red in an instant, becoming quite flustered, "My previous actions against you were all within the duties that a cop must uphold! This ti too, you stood up for justice, and I couldn’t just watch you being targeted by the Qin Family!"
"Oh! Are you sure it’s not because you like ?"
Tang Ming wore a face of disbelief.
"Crazy! I’m discussing serious matters with you— the Qin Family is not easy to deal with... No one would like you!"
Lin Xue felt very uncomfortable under Tang Ming’s gaze.

Lin Xue, furiously glaring at Tang Ming, stomped her foot, turned around, and left quickly!

Zhou Dafu moved closer to Tang Ming, giving a thumbs up in admiration!
"Who’s teasing her? I’d be lucky if she doesn’t harass !"
Tang Ming shook his head, beginning to plan how best to beat up the Qin Family’s people. Hang them up or... hang them up!

Stepping out of the school gate, Lin Xue cursed, her face flushing as she walked away.
This was the first ti a man had said she liked him, especially under Tang Ming’s intense gaze, her heartbeat uncomfortably fast! Could it be... impossible, it must be because he infuriated her, furious to death!
The damn jerk, let him get beaten to death by the Qin Family! But curse as she might, Lin Xue just couldn’t watch Tang Ming get killed by the Qin Family, so she had to co up with a plan!
