"Sure, I’ll go call him."
Xia Wei’er imdiately agreed and stood up, ready to head out.
"Wait a minute, let Xiaoli go instead, she’s braver."
Liu ngting quickly grabbed Xia Wei’er, incessantly gesturing to Li Xiaoli with her eyes.
What a joke, sending Xia Wei’er to find Tang Ming, what if she crawled into Tang Ming’s tent and didn’t co out? That’d be like sending a sheep into the tiger’s den. No, more like sending a wolf into the flock of sheep.
"Alrighty, I’ll go call Brother Tang Ming."
Li Xiaoli imdiately put on her slippers and dashed out.
After Li Xiaoli exited the tent, she headed toward the direction behind Liu ngting’s tent, knowing that Tang Ming’s tent must be behind Liu ngting’s. However, she hadn’t walked far when she spotted three sneaky figures moving toward Liu ngting’s tent.
"Hey, isn’t that Chen Cang?"
Because Chen Cang was dressed so flamboyantly, Li Xiaoli recognized him instantly.
Seeing Chen Cang with two ridiculously dressed cronies appear there, Li Xiaoli quickly crouched down to hide herself and sneakily approached:
"What’s this damn fly doing up in the middle of the night without sleeping? Is he plotting sothing against Sister ng ng? And those two wearing raincoats and draped in bedsheets must be Xiaojun and the monkey, right? What are they up to?"
"You two better be serious, make the ghost look more convincing. My happiness depends on your performance tonight!"
Chen Cang patted the monkey and Xiaojun on the shoulders with a grave tone.
"We’ll do our best."
The monkey nodded repeatedly.
Xiaojun, however, said nervously, "Brother Cang, please don’t go too far away from us. I’m really afraid we might inadvertently summon a real ghost by pretending to be fake ones."
"Shut your stinking mouth, if you ntion ghosts again, I’ll beat you to death."
Chen Cang shivered and kicked Xiaojun hard.
"Well, we’re going now."
The monkey and Xiaojun, after preparing, quietly moved toward Liu ngting’s tent.
"There are no such things as ghosts in this world, right?"
After the monkey and Xiaojun set off, Chen Cang imdiately hunched up, trying to bolster his own courage while glancing anxiously around, as he too was frightened.
"Well well, this damn fly actually wants to play ghost and scare us!"
Li Xiaoli, crouching not far behind Chen Cang, overheard their conversation and guessed Chen Cang’s plan.
"If that’s the case, then I’ll let you see a real ghost."
Li Xiaoli swiftly stood up, then started moving toward Chen Cang with a nacing gait.
"These two idiots, why are they so slow? Hurry up and rush in. I’m so anxious I could pee right here."
After waiting for a while and not hearing Liu ngting’s scream, Chen Cang cursed impatiently, ready to relieve himself right there.
"Woo woo woo..."
Just then, a sobbing sound echoed next to Chen Cang’s ear.
"Hiss!"
Chen Cang sharply inhaled, and the hairs on his body instantly stood on end.
"Could it be that the monkey, with his cursed mouth, actually called forth a real ghost?"
Chen Cang’s body began to tremble.
Seeing Chen Cang’s terrified expression, Li Xiaoli, standing behind him, laughed and reached out to pat Chen Cang’s shoulder.
"Ah!"
Chen Cang let out a startled scream. He was certain that the monkey and Xiaojun had gone ahead, so who was tapping him now?
Tang Ming had already agreed not to make trouble at this ti.
Zhou Dafu, that fatso, was even more of a scaredy-cat, plus his tent was behind Xia Wei’er, so on this side...
Chen Cang chanically turned around slowly, only to see a pale face with its tongue sticking out, rolling its eyes back, and its hands shaped like claws standing right behind him.
"Ah, a ghost!"
The already guilty Chen Cang scread and scrambled towards Liu ngting’s tent.
"Hahaha... to think you’d dare to pretend to be a ghost to scare us when you’re this chicken, I scared you to death first!"
Li Xiaoli dropped her hands, laughing until her stomach hurt.
The Monkey and Xiao Jun were sneaking towards Liu ngting’s tent, feeling guilty and thus incredibly nervous.
Just when they were less than five ters away from Liu ngting’s tent, Chen Cang’s scream, which sounded like a pig being slaughtered, suddenly ca from behind them.
"What’s going on? We haven’t made our move yet, why is there already screaming?"
The Monkey looked at The Monkey in confusion: "This isn’t part of the plan, Brother Cang shouldn’t be the one screaming, right?"
"That’s definitely Brother Cang’s voice, could it be that he, he encountered a real ghost?"
Xiao Jun said with a trembling voice.
"It can’t be, this is..."
"Help, there’s a ghost!"
At this mont, a panic-stricken Chen Cang appeared within the sight of The Monkey and the others, and then...
"Bang!"
Chen Cang knocked over The Monkey and Xiao Jun before rushing toward Liu ngting’s tent.
Chen Cang had undergone sprint training, and his speed now, as he burst forth, had broken his own previous training records, as fast as lightning.
"Hey, what’s going on, has Brother Cang gone mad?"
Xiao Jun picked himself up off the ground, groaning.
"That hurt like hell!"
The Monkey also grimaced in pain, looking up at what was behind Chen Cang, only to see a figure in red with a pale face coming their way.
"Red-dressed female ghost, help!"
The Monkey and Xiao Jun’s eyes both bulged, completely frightened by the red-dressed "female ghost," and they quickly followed Chen Cang into Liu ngting’s tent to hide.
Just as The Monkey and Xiao Jun reached the front of the tent, before they could even get inside, an even more miserable and terrified scream from Chen Cang ca from within: "Ah, a face-changing female ghost, help!"
"Bang!"
The Monkey and Xiao Jun, about to enter the tent, were once again knocked down by Chen Cang who sprung out from inside.
"Save ..."
After jumping out, Chen Cang lay sprawled on the ground, his urge to pee had been taken care of, with a large wet spot on his pants.
After Li Xiaoli left, Xia Wei’er and Liu ngting were in the tent putting on facial masks and chatting, when suddenly they heard a series of screams outside.
Xia Wei’er instinctively protected Liu ngting behind her, while Liu ngting seed at a loss, the sheltered daughter of a wealthy family naturally not as brave and strong as Xia Wei’er.
"Don’t be afraid, I’m here!"
After guarding Liu ngting, Xia Wei’er stared tensely at the entrance.
It wasn’t long before Chen Cang charged into the tent.
Xia Wei’er, seeing soone barge in, let out a roar and ripped the facial mask off her face, throwing it at Chen Cang.
Chen Cang had intended to hide in Liu ngting’s place, but as he entered, he faced two "female ghosts" with equally pale faces and disheveled hair staring at him with man-eating looks. Most horrifying was that one of the "female ghosts" actually tore her face right off.
To avoid the attack of the "human skin," Chen Cang shot out of the tent like a cannonball, screaming, which spelled disaster for the already miserable Xiao Jun and The Monkey outside.
"What’s happening, what’s happening?"
Zhou Dafu rushed over, hearing noises, and looked bewilderedly at the chaotic scene in front of him.
"There, there’s a ghost, call the police!"
Chen Cang, sitting paralyzed on the ground, stuttered out.
