The skinny man glanced at his companion who had been knocked down and knew they had ssed with the wrong person today. He didn’t say much, and simply confessed, "Big brother, I was wrong. Please don’t hit ."
"Then squat over there, and if you dare stand up, I’ll beat you."
Tang Ming threatened, and the skinny man, indeed, obediently squatted down and hugged his head.
Once Tang Ming saw everything was in order, he clapped his hands and said, "You robbers are utterly unprofessional, trying to kill people like this. This skilled work isn’t sothing you can handle. Now, hand over all the money."
"What?"
The skinny man squatting on the ground, holding his head, thought he had heard wrong.
"What are you dazed for? You, the one without a scratch, go search them, and take out anything valuable."
Tang Ming yelled. The skinny man, realizing he wasn’t joking, hurriedly walked over to the three n lying on the ground and began to search them one by one, but all their pockets were empty—not a single penny.
"Big brother, we were all just out on a job. Without completing it, how could we have any money? Maybe you should go find our boss."
The skinny man spread his hands and said.
"Damn, you’re not only unprofessional but also a bunch of paupers. You’re a disgrace to robbers."
Having said that, Tang Ming went toward the car to wake Liu ngting up.
"Fighting and causing trouble in broad daylight, you truly are lawless."
Just then, from the other end of the street ca a cold voice, followed by a series of footsteps.
Tang Ming turned his head and saw a beautiful police officer approaching. Dressed in uniform, it highlighted her form, adding to her charm. This officer was no more than in her early twenties, with fair skin and a spirited deanor. What was most striking was her chest, which, despite the confines of her uniform, remained prominently ample, stirring up a fervor in those who glimpsed it.
"Beautiful officer, I was just about to report a cri when you showed up, perfect timing to arrest these criminals,"
Tang Ming pointed at the several thugs on the ground and said.
"Report a cri?"
The policewoman scoffed, "They all look like strong n. You managed to take them all down by yourself? It seems you’re the one who has just committed a cri and now you’re playing the victim first."
Lin Xue had just graduated from the police academy this year. Dreaming since childhood of becoming a police officer to eradicate evil for the people, she chose to stay in Songlan City after graduation, against her family’s arrangents, becoming an intern patrol officer.
She had earlier seen that the road seed to be blocked by a cargo truck, and driven by professional habit, ca to check, only to find several n in unbearable pain lying on the ground and what appeared to be a freshly killed corpse in an open van.
All these n were injured to varying degrees, except this young fellow who was unscathed. This scene could only an one thing: he was responsible!
Could there be another explanation?
Not to ntion, just the body alone could classify as a homicide, and encountering such a major case excited Lin Xue rather than scared her; becoming a police officer ant hoping to remove harm for the people.
Now that the opportunity had presented itself, there was no way she would let it pass, especially with a chance to successfully crack a major murder case on the spot.
"Listen, beautiful officer, a man might eat indiscriminately, but he shouldn’t speak carelessly. It was really them trying to rob us, and I acted in self-defense to take them down,"
Tang Ming argued, simultaneously thinking that all this talk about won being "busty and brainless" must be true, given this police officer seed to fit the stereotype.
"Enough with that act, did I not see it with my own eyes?"
Lin Xue pointed at the van and asked:
"And the one inside, that was your doing as well?"
"It was , but he was about to chop , so I had to act," Tang Ming explained.
Tang Ming said, "This can only be considered self-defense, just take them all in for questioning and it will be clear."
"It’s good that you admit it, co back to the station with ."
Lin Xue lunged forward in one quick step, swinging a fist at Tang Ming.
Tang Ming quickly dodged, avoiding Lin Xue’s powerful punch, and yelled, "Attacking as soon as you show up, do you even have any sense of reason?"
"Talking reason with a criminal, only if I were a fool."
Lin Xue bent her body quickly and executed a sweeping kick.
Tang Ming leapt up high, thinking that the opponent was a police officer and if he hit back, wouldn’t the misunderstanding beco even greater?
Although he dared not hit back, Lin Xue’s martial arts were very systematic, each punch and move blowing strong, making him quite annoyed.
Seeing that he was nearly hit in the face, Tang Ming backed up several ters and exclaid, "Stop hitting, or I will fight back."
"Hmph, less talk."
Even after her round of attacks, Lin Xue hadn’t even touched the corner of Tang Ming’s clothes, which infuriated her imnsely.
"Does this woman not know whether she was sent by Chen Cang and Ma Gangqiang to deal with ? Why is she so unreasonable, attacking as soon as she arrives?"
Tang Ming thought to himself, but quickly dismissed the idea. If Chen Cang and Ma Gangqiang wanted revenge, they could have just used the group from before, why bother finding a woman, and a female cop at that.
Tang Ming dodged a punch from Lin Xue, counterattacked with a push of his hands, shoving Lin Xue back several steps, then leapt forward, throwing punches up close. Lin Xue was suddenly in grave danger, dodging continuously.
But her moves were clearly not as fast as Tang Ming’s, she couldn’t dodge in ti. Tang Ming seized the opportunity, grabbed her arms one by one, and then pulled them to her back, tying her arms up in reverse.
Seeing herself subdued by a criminal, Lin Xue, infuriated, kept kicking Tang Ming behind her, but Tang Ming simply blocked with his legs, sweeping Lin Xue’s feet out from under her, causing her to lose her balance, then he did a split on the ground, sitting in a straddle position.
"You dare assault an officer, wait to go to jail."
Lin Xue struggled but to no avail, and started to make threats.
Tang Ming, frustrated, exclaid, "Are you sick, girl? Attacking right away, and I’m not a bad guy. Wait until I go to the police station to complain about you."
"You complain about ?"
Lin Xue paused for a mont, scoffed, and said, "You, a criminal, dare to go to the police station? Fine, I’m waiting for you to complain about ."
Hearing this, Tang Ming finally understood that this female cop still considered him a criminal, and quickly explained, "Officer, please use your brain, will you? I look just like a student, while that group clearly looks like hooligans. You can’t seriously think I’m the one causing trouble and beating them up, can you? It’s not like whoever’s lying on the ground is automatically the innocent one."
Lin Xue still expressed disbelief and said, "Now that you’ve subdued , you can say whatever you want."
"Ah, I’ll find soone to vouch for ," Tang Ming said.
Tang Ming firmly held onto the police officer, afraid she would lash out at him again, then he twisted his head, glanced around, and yelled, "Hey you, co over here if you’re still alive, or else wait and see how I deal with you."
The skinny man stood up, his face full of bitterness, and asked, "Big brother, are you calling ?"
"See, even calls big brother, definitely your accomplice."
Lin Xue sneered.
Tang Ming felt like crying but had no tears, facing a person like this, really nothing could be explained clearly.
The skinny man saw the situation and asked, "Big brother, should I still co over?"
