While waiting for the traffic light, Tang Ming glanced and noticed two n dressed as laborers at the corner ahead. One was sweating profusely and pale, leaning on his companion’s back, his hand wrapped in a white towel, but the striking red blood stains were frightening.

The companion standing next to him kept hailing cars, but unfortunately, all the taxis at this hour were occupied; others were empty but shunned the bloody victim completely.

"Tang Ming, that man seems hurt, shall we... help them out?"

Although Liu ngting sotis acted like a bit of a princess, she was kind-hearted, and having seen the two n, she suggested to Tang Ming.

"Oh, all right."

As soon as the green light shone, Tang Ming rapidly pressed on the gas and drifted over, stabilizing the car before rolling down the window and saying to the two n: "Get in."

"Ah... thank you!"

The injured man’s companion didn’t pause to think, pulled open the rear car door, then supported the injured man to sit inside.

After the two got in, Tang Ming asked, "Where’s the nearest hospital around here?"

"Just follow this road, about a fifteen-minute drive."

Liu ngting spoke up.

From the back seat, the uninjured man gratefully said, "My fellow villager got his hand smashed while working at the construction site. We couldn’t find a car for a while; if it weren’t for your help, he might have lost his hand by now."

"Don’t worry, it won’t co to that!"

Tang Ming pressed on the accelerator, and the car swiftly shot forward. He himself was a doctor, but he never ddled in others’ affairs; saving the man was the princess’s command, but she hadn’t asked him to treat the injuries.

This road was narrow, with just enough room for two lanes, flanked by shops on both sides, and it extended into a stretch of mountain road. The hospital Liu ngting ntioned specialized in orthopedics, treating bone fractures and such with advanced equipnt. If the delivery was tily, many severed fingers could be reattached.

The mountain road was winding, much of it downhill, requiring high driving skills. Due to obstructed sightlines, accidents were common, predominantly involving street racers.

These people, rich and thrill-seeking, often raced on the mountain roads. It showcased their unrestrained personalities and reflected their superior status and feeling of achievent.

At that mont, at the top of the mountain road, ten sports cars were ready to take off. Ahead of them, a young woman in provocative attire walked to the front of the cars, slowly removed her underwear in front of everyone, and flung it into the air.

Imdiately, a chorus of whistles erupted from the onlookers, with many shouting loudly, as the ten sports cars ignited their engines, roaring like wild beasts.

"Go."

With a loud shout from the woman, she tossed her underwear high into the air.

Instantly, the ten sports cars charged forward like wild bulls, all accelerating at once.

anwhile, others hurried into their cars to chase after them. This mountain road car race was a contest among many sports car enthusiasts of Songlan City, each seeing themselves as professional racers, competing for supremacy on this treacherous road.

Over the years, they had caused nurous accidents, but being wealthy, they settled issues privately with money. The more dangerous it was, the more accidents occurred, yet this only added to their thrill, attracting even more children of the affluent to join.

The ten sports cars vied with each other, speeding wildly down the road.

The leading car was a red Ferrari, but soon the pack of cars noticed a black Maserati that had suddenly co from the back. It raced forward, continuously overtaking other cars, and in no ti moved from the last to the first place, even surpassing the red Ferrari.

Inside the Ferrari, a young couple was excited, but suddenly being overtaken, the man cursed, "Damn, who’s driving that car? How fast?"

"It seems like that car wasn’t in the race earlier."

The woman was also puzzled.

It took less than ten minutes for Tang Ming to sprint all the way to the orthopedic hospital entrance. After parking, the two people in the backseat got out quickly, continuously thanking him.

But Tang Ming said, "Hurry in, or you’ll really damage your hand for good."

Co-pilot Liu ngting almost got car sick, initially intending to bla Tang Ming, but considering he was helping soone, she didn’t say anything. Still, she thought to herself:

"This guy is really a freak, ignoring his own commands when stealing a car, but listens when it cos to helping strangers, it’s just too weird."

The two prepared to drive ho, but as soon as they left the hospital, they were chased by a red Ferrari. The car would move forward and then back, constantly provoking them. Tang Ming turned his head to see the other car’s window roll down, revealing a man and a woman inside, dressed like non-mainstream scenesters.

"Trash, can you even drive?"

The woman in the passenger seat, heavily made up, and eyes painted like a ghost, whistled at Tang Ming and flipped him off.

Tang Ming smiled and ignored her, not bothering to quarrel with a woman.

But it seed like the Ferrari was determined to clash with him, as the people inside kept provoking and the car stayed parallel to his.

"What’s with these people? Are they sick?"

Liu ngting also noticed the strangeness of the people in the other car and angrily cursed.

"Bitch, who are you cursing?"

Although Liu ngting wasn’t loud, perhaps the scenester girl figured out her lip movents, because she got even more agitated and yelled:

"Can you couples of adulterers dare to race with our Brother Zang? Weren’t you acting all high and mighty earlier?"

At that mont, the man in the Ferrari also stared at Tang Ming, tauntingly jeering, "Trash, afraid to race? Then don’t co to Pan mountain road anymore, otherwise, I’ll beat you every ti I see you."

With that, the man floored the accelerator, and the red Ferrari quickly sped away, leaving Tang Ming behind.

"Are they sick?"

Liu ngting exclaid angrily, as anyone would be upset after being cursed like that.

"Probably sick!"

Tang Ming laughed, "Maybe they just ca out of the hospital."

"Haha, you really have a good temper!"

Liu ngting said, feeling surprised.

"But I don’t care, I’m used to being cursed."

Tang Ming said indifferently.

"Hmph! When it didn’t matter earlier, you were driving so fast, and now that soone provokes you, you don’t care. Are you afraid of losing, afraid to take on the challenge? How can my bodyguard be such a coward!"

Liu ngting recalled the look of that non-mainstream girl and was infuriated. She could hardly wait to blow off so steam, especially since Tang Ming seed so unconcerned, which made her even angrier.

"Get ready."

Tang Ming chuckled and commanded, then he floored the accelerator. The car swiftly surged forward like an arrow on the road, continuously overtaking other cars, and the red Ferrari that had first disappeared into the distance appeared ahead.
