Bang bang...
Tang Ming had finished a dozen punches in the blink of an eye, but to his surprise, he discovered that the opponent’s chest seed like an iron board. His fists, instead of injuring the opponent, rebounded with a force that shook his own hands.
"Cross Training Martial Arts!"
After retreating several steps, Tang Ming exclaid in surprise.
He had never expected that this seemingly skinny and frail Gu Cang would be practicing Cross Training Martial Arts, which mainly focuses on cultivating the body, including the skin, bones, and muscles to such an extent that at its pinnacle, one becos impervious to swords and guns, virtually an undying cockroach.
Of course, even Cross Training Martial Arts has a vulnerable spot called the Covering Gate, and only the utmost cultivation level leaves no such weakness. However, it was evident that Gu Cang had not yet reached that highest realm.
If that had been the case, Tang Ming would have no choice but to run away, not daring to fight with him. That wouldn’t be called fighting; that would be courting death.
"Let broaden your horizon."
Gu Cang clenched his fists tightly, and with a violent shake, his upper clothing burst open and fell aside, revealing a muscular body with a bronze glow, almost like that of a bronze statue.
Clang clang!
Gu Cang struck his fists together, actually emitting the sound of tal clashing.
Tang Ming’s expression turned solemn, knowing his opponent was formidable. He should not take him lightly, using both fists and hands to fend off the attacks. But Gu Cang’s fists and legs felt as if they were made of iron, causing imnse pain with even the slightest contact.
"Tang Ming, save ."
On the other side, Liu ngting’s cry for help suddenly rang out.
Tang Ming turned his head to see that the non-mainstream girl, with strength from who knows where, had sohow hoisted Liu ngting over her shoulder and was slowly heading towards the Ferrari sports car.
"Let her go."
Tang Ming imdiately panicked, kicking Gu Cang away before hurling himself towards Liu ngting.
At that mont, the non-mainstream girl, too, kicked out with her leg. Tang Ming, sensing the powerful force, didn’t dare to take it head-on. He retracted his body quickly to dodge, while the pursuing Gu Cang pressed on, his punches and kicks driving Tang Ming back.
"Hehe, just resign yourself to your fate."
Gu Cang said with a chillingly cold sneer.
"Resign myself? Wishful thinking."
Tang Ming, unable to get close, watched as Liu ngting was bound and thrown into the back seat of the Ferrari, while the non-mainstream girl was getting ready to start the car and leave!
Tang Ming knew very well that if he kept dragging on, once the opponent drove off, he wouldn’t be able to catch up even if he wanted to, not to ntion Gu Cang, a Cross Training Master, blocking his way.
"What should I do?"
The more Tang Ming fought, the more anxious he beca, involuntarily frowning!
Did he have to use poison...? At the mont, that was the only move that could quickly subdue Gu Cang! But the old man at ho had said, if the opponent is a Martial Artist, one must be cautious in using poison!
"I can’t care about that anymore. If Liu ngting is taken away, I’ll never have peace of mind in this lifeti!"
Tang Ming made up his mind and stopped in his tracks, stepping back!
"What’s the matter? Admit defeat if you can’t win?"
Gu Cang paused, then burst into laughter, his look suggesting Tang Ming was trying to run away because he was losing.
"You’ll find out soon."
Tang Ming said indifferently.
Gu Cang was sowhat puzzled, while the Ferrari also started at the side. The non-mainstream girl shouted, "Gu Cang, let’s go."
"Alright."
Gu Cang gave Tang Ming a strange smile, then leaped on the spot, attempting to land a kick and push Tang Ming back, but as he jumped up, his face suddenly turned ugly. His leg didn’t co out as expected, and he "thumped" down heavily to the ground.
"You used poison."
Gu Cang’s face contorted, he lay on the ground in agony, pointing at Tang Ming.
"Why ask so many questions?"
Tang Ming just leaped over him and rushed towards the Ferrari.
The non-mainstream girl quickly started to drive away, but Tang Ming, jumping into the air, kicked towards the driver’s seat.
The non-mainstream girl had to spin the steering wheel again, bringing the car to a halt before jumping out to face Tang Ming.
"Using poison? Who are you exactly?"
The non-mainstream girl looked at Gu Cang lying on the ground in agony, her sharp gaze sweeping over Tang Ming.
"Soone who’s after your life."
Tang Ming smirked, speaking cheerfully.
With that, Tang Ming dashed over, delivering several kicks, but the girl dodged all of them.
"Be careful, he’s got poison on him."
Gu Cang called out weakly from the ground.
The girl’s movents hesitated, imdiately wary of close contact with Tang Ming, but even so, she suddenly felt a wave of weakness wash over her.
Taking the opportunity, Tang Ming kicked her to the ground, then walked over to open the car door and carried Liu ngting out.
"You think you won’t get poisoned if you don’t touch ? Idiot!"
Tang Ming, after untying Liu ngting, sneered at the girl on the ground.
"You’re despicable."
The girl cursed.
"You think you can use that word? Isn’t it most suitable for you guys?"
Tang Ming delivered a kick to the girl’s forehead, knocking her unconscious, then he turned toward Gu Cang.
"What are you planning to do?"
Gu Cang was a bit frightened.
"Of course, I want to know who sent you."
Tang Ming smiled at Gu Cang, then placed his foot on Gu Cang’s hand and said lightly, "Every finger is connected to the heart. You understand."
"Ah!"
Gu Cang let out a piercing scream as Tang Ming’s foot bore down on the back of his hand, trampling forcefully.
"Will you talk or not?"
Tang Ming asked.
Knowing there was no escape and that he would soon be apprehended by the police, Gu Cang gritted his teeth and, with a crack, then coldly smiled at Tang Ming:
"You’ll be joining soon. I’ll be waiting for you."
Tang Ming’s shock was evident, and he suddenly sensed sothing was wrong. He pinched open Gu Cang’s mouth, and a foul stench wafted out.
"There’s a poison bag inside the teeth."
Tang Ming placed his palm on Gu Cang’s throat and began to circulate his cultivation. Slowly, beads of green liquid erged from Gu Cang’s neck skin.
These were the poison, and Tang Ming used a technique to extract it, hoping to save Gu Cang’s life.
But it seed to be a lost cause, the poison was too potent, a touch of it was fatal, and within seconds, blood flowed from Gu Cang’s mouth, his eyes bulged, and he breathed his last.
"Ah, he’s dead?"
Liu ngting, upon witnessing this scene, turned pale with fear.
Tang Ming said, "You go back to the car for now. You’ll have nightmares if you see any more."
"Oh."
Liu ngting knew if it weren’t for Tang Ming, she would have been taken away; she didn’t dare argue and promptly got into the BMW, but she was still trembling from the fright.
Tang Ming approached the non-mainstream girl, pried open her mouth, and removed the poison bag.
The small poison bag was only half the size of a thumb; Tang Ming squeezed it open and swallowed the poison, tasting it for a while before saying, "Not bad, it should be extracted from the venom of four types of venomous snakes mixed with so devil’s weed. Indeed, it kills upon contact with blood."
Liu ngting in the car was completely flabbergasted. She saw Tang Ming swallow the poison, wondering if he had gone mad and was trying to commit suicide.
Considering how tough Gu Cang was and the fact that he didn’t last a few seconds after consuming the poison, what exactly was Tang Ming trying to do?
Liu ngting was confused and just sat there staring blankly at Tang Ming in the distance, forgetting even to ask.
