Tang Ming counted out three thousand in his hand, and put the rest of the money into his own pocket.
"This deal is so worth it, I made so much in an instant."
Tang Ming looked at the other three coldly and said, "If I ever see you collecting protection money again, I’ll beat you up each ti I see it, now scram."
Realizing they had encountered a tough guy, the three quickly helped up the man with the scar on his face and hurried away from the snack street.
Tang Ming took the money back to the cold drink shop, threw it on the counter, and directly said to Xia Weier:

Seeing that everything was okay, Tang Ming then dragged Zhou Dafu out of the cold drink shop, the fat man leaving with a sleazy smile, waving at Xia Weier: "Wei’er, I’m off to school now, don’t be late for class!"
Xia Weier hesitated for a second, but then chased out of the cold drink shop and directly stopped Tang Ming and Zhou Dafu in the street.
"What’s up?"
Tang Ming asked irritably.
After a mont, Xia Weier bit her lip, looked up at Tang Ming with a determined gaze and said, "Tang Ming, I know you’re scheming just to make like you! But I can tell you now, I, Xia Weier, will never like you, so I hope you stop all these little tricks in the future, it’s useless."
"Damn, when did I ever like you?"
Tang Ming asked despondently.

After saying this, Xia Weier turned around and walked back to the cold drink shop.

Inside Tianjiao High School, Liu ngting and Li Xiaoli were wandering under a big tree. These past few days, Liu ngting hadn’t been able to sleep well. Liu ngting held Li Xiaoli’s hand and said, "Xiaoli, you might as well co sleep with starting tonight."

After fooling around for a bit, the two of them realized class was about to start and hastily made their way back to the classroom building, just in ti to bump into Tang Ming and Zhou Dafu returning.
"How did Tang Ming beco good friends with Zhou Fatty?"
Li Xiaoli blinked at Liu ngting as she asked.
Liu ngting smiled and said, "I guess in our class, only Zhou Fatty likes to hang out with him, it seems like he’s acknowledged him as the boss."
"Hehehehe, truly a gathering of scoundrels,"
Li Xiaoli snickered mischievously.
Upon hearing this, Liu ngting looked over and really found it quite fitting! Tang Ming, skinny like a fox, and next to him, a pig-headed companion, couldn’t help but smile wryly.

This was highly unusual.
Although Liu ngting and Li Xiaoli were very famous at Tianjiao High School due to their family backgrounds, they were not approachable, and no male student could talk to them for more than a few sentences, let alone go out with them to Snack Street after school—that was even more unlikely.
