Inside the bright book tower, Qin Ziwen held a book in his palm. This was the one he had just converted—*Basic Mathematics*.
Interestingly, everything about the book, from the writing style to the phrasing, felt familiar.
The style, the way it presented information... it made him wonder if it was written under a pen na he’d forgotten he had.
Qin Ziwen closed his eyes and thought for a mont.
He realized that after converting his knowledge into a book, the knowledge itself didn’t disappear from his mind. This ant the conversion was a copy, not a transfer.
After a mont of contemplation, Qin Ziwen decided to try converting his most confident skill: his Archery Skill.
He had been diligently practicing his Bow Skill ever since acquiring the Celestial Star Arrow Gallery.
As the thought took form, knowledge gushed from his mind like a spring. Before his eyes, a book with an azure cover materialized from nothing, coalescing page by page out of thin air.
It finally ford a thin booklet. On the right side of the cover, three large words were written vertically: *Basic Arrow Skill*.
Qin Ziwen: ???
’When I’m the one with the question marks,’ he thought, ’it doesn’t an I’m the one with the problem. It ans I think *you’re* the one with the problem.’
’All my superb Bow Skill, and it only gives a *Basic Arrow Skill* rating?!’
Qin Ziwen’s face darkened.
’No, I have to find soone and get to the bottom of this.’
Qin Ziwen walked out of the Hundred Schools Book Tower and summoned Du Yu.
"My Lord." Du Yu entered the book tower, looking around in confusion.
The tower’s interior was made of brick and stone. An oil lamp hung on each of its six walls.
In the center were rows of empty bookshelves.
On the left side of the third shelf of one bookcase sat two thin booklets.
Below the oil lamps, wooden tables and stools were placed by the windows.
"Take a look at this *Basic Arrow Skill*. What do you think?" Qin Ziwen casually pulled the book from the third shelf and handed it to Du Yu for his assessnt.
A flicker in his eyes, Du Yu took the booklet with both hands. He opened it and read carefully, nodding frequently.
"Reporting to my Lord, the content of this booklet is solid and by the book. The fundantals are quite firm, showing that the author must have put a great deal of hard work into their path of the arrow," Du Yu replied respectfully.
"Good. Now, try to condense your own knowledge of Arrow Skill into a book," Qin Ziwen said, teaching Du Yu how to use the Hundred Schools Book Tower’s function.
Hearing this, a bead of cold sweat secretly trickled down Du Yu’s forehead.
He carefully recalled his earlier exchange with his lord, and after confirming he hadn’t said anything wrong, he secretly breathed a sigh of relief.
’No wonder the content of the book seed so familiar...’
Then, Du Yu closed his eyes.
Before him, an orange-yellow book slowly materialized from nothing, its pages turning as it took shape, finally becoming a rather thick volu.
Qin Ziwen took it and looked at the cover: *Interdiate Arrow Skill*.

Qin Ziwen opened the book and carefully examined the contents of *Interdiate Arrow Skill*.
The more he read, the more he nodded. Closing the book, he shut his eyes to savor what he had learned.
He was deeply moved.
"I see." ’If I practice Arrow Skill now,’ Qin Ziwen thought, ’with the guidance from *Interdiate Arrow Skill*, plus the advanced techniques I’ve already grasped from the Celestial Star Arrow Gallery, the two will reinforce each other. My rate of progress will be absolutely unimaginable.’

Qin Ziwen asked Zhao Pu, "Is the count correct?"
"There are still two who haven’t returned." Zhao Pu looked down at the register in his hand and flipped through it. "It’s two residents from Building Seven. A married couple."
"Let’s wait a bit longer," Qin Ziwen said. He walked past the recall point. On the other side, the sky was growing dark. From the surrounding mountains, the occasional howl of a wolf or roar of an unknown beast could be heard.
The distant mountains were hidden in the night, their silhouettes rising and falling.
On the other side, back in the Ho, Zhao Pu’s face was grim as he tore into a squad leader below him. "What happened?! Aren’t those two from your team? Where are they? The President asked if everyone was back. Do you have any idea how awkward that was for !"
Across from Zhao Pu was a burly, short-haired man with a lightning-shaped scar on his forehead.
As Zhao Pu berated him, the burly man’s expression grew dark. "Mr. Zhao, I’ll take care of it."
Zhao Pu’s expression softened slightly. "Zhou Xian, you usually do a great job. During the last bloody battle on the tower, you led from the front and joined the vanguard. That’s why I recomnded you to be a captain for one of the thirty teams. None of the other teams had any problems, but yours did. What is the President going to think? What are the others going to think?"
Zhou Xian looked ashad. "I understand."
"Alright, everyone’s here now," Qin Ziwen said, walking over with a couple following behind him.
The couple trailed after Qin Ziwen, whispering and laughing with each other.
"I’ve brought them back. As long as everyone is accounted for, we’re good," Qin Ziwen said before walking away.
After Qin Ziwen left, Zhao Pu shot a glance at Zhou Xian. Zhou Xian walked over, his face dark as he stared at the couple. "Where were you two just now?"
The husband in the couple said with a smile, "Captain, my wife had to use the restroom, so I took her off to the side. We didn’t hear the order to return."
"You left the group without permission. Why didn’t you report it?" Zhou Xian asked, his face devoid of expression.
"My wife was using the restroom. I didn’t think such a small thing was worth reporting," the man said, stunned and looking nonchalant. "Next ti, I’ll definitely report it next ti."
"A trip to the restroom takes that long? Over half an hour?" Zhou Xian pressed, his gaze sharp.
The man rubbed his nose and gave a hollow laugh. "My wife’s stomach was upset. Hey, we’re back now, aren’t we?"
"Still lying. What’s in your pockets?" Zhou Xian’s eyes moved to the man’s pockets.
The pockets at the man’s waist were bulging.
"Nothing." The man looked flustered, but his movents were a fraction too slow.
Zhou Xian pulled a black plastic bag from his pocket. Inside, it was full of fresh mushrooms.
An embarrassed look appeared on the man’s face at being exposed. His wife ca over and quickly said, "Captain, we were planning to give these mushrooms to you and Mr. Zhao."
The man added, "Ah, right, right! I knew a place with mushrooms, so I took my wife to go pick so."
"If you knew about a resource point, why didn’t you report it beforehand?" Zhou Xian’s face was impassive. "According to the rules of this operation, all teams move as a group. Any resources gathered are to be pooled and then distributed based on contribution. What you did was hoard for yourselves."
"According to the rules, anything gained from unauthorized actions will be confiscated in full. You are expelled from the team and are not permitted to participate in any group activities for one month. At the end of that period, a decision on whether to lift the ban will be made based on your performance."
