For Fang Zhen, the "Demon Duke" dungeon was nearly over.
Fang Zhen knew that once the "Demon Duke" dungeon was over, he would likely unlock new ga permissions, allowing him to return to the Zambein Kingdom whenever he wished.
But his schedule was tight.
He needed to go to the Curse Seal World next, and the start ti for its next dungeon was fast approaching.
It was a high-difficulty dungeon that required considerable preparation.
And so, after making all the necessary arrangents, Fang Zhen began to say his goodbyes to his people there.
Evening.
On the outskirts of the city in Ashton Territory.
Dalia, accompanied by her female guards, was seeing Fang Zhen off.
Even though Dalia had parted with Fang Zhen once before, her eyes still reddened as she said goodbye this ti.
"Take good care of yourself while I’m gone. Don’t get ambushed like last ti. You have plenty of Magic Items, so learn how to protect yourself. I’ve also arranged for two female Mages to serve as your guards and ensure your safety."
Fang Zhen told Dalia as he said his goodbyes.
There were won among the ranks of Mages, but they were relatively rare. This was because Mages were often the younger sons of noble families; daughters of noble houses were far less common.
After all, won still had the path of marriage available to them. Noblewon who were determined to beco Mages were a small minority.
Dalia nodded, pulling Fang Zhen’s hand to her chest just before he left.
"How soon will you be back?" Dalia asked.
"I won’t be gone for long this ti. I’ll probably be back within a month," Fang Zhen replied.
"Don’t make wait too long," Dalia said, clutching his hand.
With Fang Zhen, Dalia felt a love she had never dared hope for.
Marriages between nobles were, for the most part, political alliances and exchanges. Love was too great a luxury.
For this very reason, Dalia felt she couldn’t be without him.
Not wanting the mood to beco too somber, Fang Zhen patted Dalia’s shoulder and offered a few words of comfort. Then, he swung himself onto his Red Hare Horse and galloped off in the direction of the Light Gate.
Fang Zhen rode at a full gallop and soon arrived at the Light Gate’s location.
He dismounted, turned the Red Hare Warhorse into crystal bone, and then stepped through the Light Gate.
After a brief mont of disorientation, he was back in his own living room.
Fang Zhen was already adept at removing his armor. Before long, he had taken off all his battle plate, changed into a looser set of casual clothes, and entered the computer room to operate the PC that ran the ga.
He had actually completed the dungeon several days ago; he was just here to finish the follow-up tasks. After all, this dungeon concerned not only personal martial prowess but also the establishnt of a faction, sothing that had been hinted at before he first entered the "Demon Duke" dungeon.
He first shut down the Light Gate peripheral, then checked his dungeon completion status. As expected, the dungeon was cleared.
Fireworks and golden light flashed across the screen.
"Congratulations, you have cleared the Nightmare-difficulty dungeon ’Demon Duke’ in the Naless World."
This was the ssage displayed on the computer.
Fang Zhen smiled and, with his right hand on the mouse, clicked through to the results screen.

"Character ’Fang Zhen’ gained an ability enhancent during the mission. Spiritual Power 1, Free Attribute Points 2."
’Oh?’
’Such a big increase this ti?’
Fang Zhen was slightly surprised to see the two free attribute points.
’Two whole free attribute points!’
Back in the dungeon, he had experienced a spiritual breakthrough and had a feeling his Spiritual Power might have increased by one point. It seed his intuition was correct.
Fang Zhen checked his stats. Sure enough, his Spiritual Power had gone from 13 to 14.
Combined with the two additional free attribute points, he had effectively gained three attribute points from this one dungeon.
Fang Zhen was thrilled.
With these two free attribute points, he could either boost his constitution even higher or raise one of his other attributes past 15.
Receiving such positive feedback made Fang Zhen very happy, and his mind felt light and clear.
He continued to look at the dungeon’s results screen.
