Chapter 18: Licking the Calf
Zhao Yuntong’s consciousness slowly awakened.
She could see that she was inside a dwelling, lying flat on a clean yet worn bed.
Outside the window, the night was as dark as ink.
The air carried the sounds of insects and a man’s humming.
Everything felt quiet and peaceful.
Zhao Yuntong could not control a single inch of her body, as if this body had never belonged to her.
Ever since being refined into a Yin Corpse, her soul had felt as though it were drifting in a chaotic sea—
boundless, without support, lost and helpless.
Only when that man needed her
could she return to her body and regain the feeling of standing on solid ground.
She had grown used to it.
And now, she could see and hear.
An invisible thread connected her soul to her corpse body.
Zhao Yuntong couldn’t help but curl her lips into a smile.
She knew
this was deliberately left by that man.
As if saying: ‘For now, you may use this body freely. I permit it.’
This feeling was more peculiar than ever before.
It was as though soone had completely taken control of her, and every inch of her skin, every fiber of her body, could be toyed with at will by that man—
no matter how he handled it, there would be no restraint.
After all, she already fully belonged to him…
For a mont,
a numb tingling spread through Zhao Yuntong’s heart and palms.
It was itchy, like soone gently breathing warmth against her—she almost wanted to giggle foolishly.
“If you’re awake, co out.”
Fang Chang suddenly spoke.
Zhao Yuntong stiffened, following the connection to regain control of her body.
Lowering her head along the direction of the voice, she realized—
Fang Chang was currently leaning over her abdon, treating her wounds with a bored expression.
“How long was I out?”
“Three hours? Four? Sothing like that. Anyway, you didn’t die… don’t move.”
Fang Chang pressed down on the madwoman who was trying to sit up.
The tomb general had blasted apart the carriage, the three female cultivators of Canglan Mountain had left, and he, a re Qi Absorption cultivator who didn’t know any escape techniques, had to run all the way out of the Red Willow Mountain Range.
Did she think that was easy?
“How was it?” Zhao Yuntong said abruptly.
“How was what?”
“I said I’d deal with that tomb general in three moves—and I did.”
“Heh, you’ve got the nerve to say that? Look at what state your corpse body is in.”
“This is my body.”
“It’s mine now.”
Hearing this, a trace of satisfaction flashed through Zhao Yuntong’s eyes. Her ears flushed red, and she seed to drift into a daze.
“What about that woman?”
“Cheng Hua? Taken back by her sect.”
“Good that she’s gone. That woman was an eyesore… weren’t you planning to join Canglan Mountain?”
“No rush for that right now.”
Fang Chang focused on treating the wounds.
Fortunately, he had gathered enough herbs recently, and the Tai Sui red flesh, naturally ford, could nourish and repair even a Yin Corpse body.
The Corpse Refinent Path Class System was tyrannical beyond asure.
Even as a Yin Corpse,
blood qi flowed on its own, ridians faintly appeared, circulation turned subtly—aside from the pale bluish-white skin, it was no different from a living person.
Repairing wounds like this was far less troubleso than with ordinary Corpse Puppets.
“…Alright. For now, stay in the coffin and recover. You saw the backdoor I left you, right? If you’re bored, co out and chat with .”
At this mont, Zhao Yuntong lay on the bed.
Her clothes had loosened, revealing her entire waist and abdon.
The fairy who had fought like a mad dog was not the type with sharply defined abs and extrely low body fat.
Though there was a faint outline of abdominal muscles,
overall it was soft, with a thin layer of muscle. When lying down, it sank slightly, spreading into a pale expanse.
The areas coated with dicine glistened with moisture, making that patch of skin look like congealed milk.
Her navel was a slender line,
running vertically at the center of her abdon—narrow, tapering to a point like a stroke carved by a willow leaf.
Hearing him,
Zhao Yuntong’s soft, alluring eyes lifted as she shifted slightly to the side.
“Am I the one bored and wanting to chat, or are you the one bored and lonely? You look pretty lonely to .”
The soft flesh of her pale abdon trembled slightly.
Above that—far too full.
Her loosened collar piled to the sides, unable to conceal the contours beneath. From the side, they drooped heavily, pressing the fabric into slanted folds.
But below, her waist narrowed sharply.
So slender it seed as if soone had gripped it hard, forming a startling curve.
Soft folds gathered at her sides, flesh-toned, tempting to grasp.
Fang Chang showed no expression.
“Stop acting seductive in front of . Do you think I fall for that?”
“I’ve never acted like this in front of other n. You placed Yin-Nurturing Talismans on both my front and rear yin points—you should know my Primal Yin is still intact.”
“Speaking of Yin-Nurturing Talismans, it hasn’t been long since you beca a corpse. Don’t tear them off.”
“Got it~”
Zhao Yuntong saw Fang Chang staring intently at her body.
Though she no longer had a heartbeat, she still felt her chest pounding.
She licked her lips,
hooking her collar open to reveal more of her smooth skin.
“In your spare ti, want to try what a Yin Corpse feels like?”
Fang Chang suddenly let out a snort of laughter and picked her up.
A flash of delight crossed Zhao Yuntong’s eyes. Her lotus-like arms wrapped around his neck as her stunning face leaned forward.
Her lips parted slightly, her pink tongue just peeking out like the tip of a budding lotus.
Their lips were about to et—
then suddenly pulled apart.
Zhao Yuntong realized she had been placed inside the coffin.
“What do you an by this?”
“Get in the coffin and recover.”
Her expression imdiately darkened.
Won had thin skin—after such an invitation, rejection would sharply sour relations.
“Those dog eyes of yours keep drifting into my collar, and now you’re pretending to be a gentleman?”
Fang Chang ignored her.
Bang—the coffin lid closed, and the candle was extinguished.
Carrying a coffin over mountain roads for half a day…
Forcing the Third Realm Blood Gold Pill multiple tis…
Stalling at the instance exit with Cloud Steps for half an hour…
Entering a divine state to save Dai Bojun…
He was only a newly initiated Qi Absorption cultivator, not so superhuman.
Today’s events had been nurous and ntally exhausting.
Fang Chang’s foundation was ultimately too weak.
He truly had no energy left to deal with Zhao Yuntong.
Not long after lying down, even breathing sounds ca from the bed.
…
Moonlight seeped through the window cracks.
Click—
The coffin lid lifted slightly, revealing a pair of crimson eyes filled with anger.
Zhao Yuntong flipped out of the coffin and silently stood by the bed.
Fang Chang slept deeply, his brows slightly furrowed. His handso yet gloomy face lacked the frivolity and confidence he showed when awake.
She leaned down, her hair falling beside his pillow.
Closer… even closer…
Feeling his warm breath brush against her cheek,
the fire in Zhao Yuntong’s lower abdon burned even more fiercely.
Her cheeks flushed as she pressed her nose and lips gently against his neck.
The sound of breathing in the room grew heavier.
“Mine, mine, mine, mine, mine, mine… I belong entirely to you… so you should entirely belong to as well…”
…
…
Cheng Hua struggled to open her eyes.
Cold—piercingly cold.
Completely different from the warmth of the dream just now.
Fang Chang’s sleeping face remained vivid in her mind, along with the faint scent of vegetation on him—it felt as though she had just experienced it monts ago.
In the dream,
Cheng Hua felt her heart pounding as if it would leap out of her chest.
Her usually calm and still emotions surged and expanded, rising together with her heartbeat.
That emotion crowded upward, from her heart to her throat, making it impossible to suppress—ready to burst forth.
In the dream, she kissed Fang Chang.
In their entanglent, she advanced domineeringly.
A burning sensation spread from her throat, igniting her emotions, flowing downward to her lower abdon, blooming even more intensely…
Afterward, she beca like an animal overflowing with maternal affection.
Like a mother cow licking her newborn calf, she accepted and embraced him without restraint…
But as she woke now,
all emotions vanished in an instant.
Only the lingering warmth on her tongue remained.
Cheng Hua raised her head.
Cold wind seeped through the window cracks.
Everything in the Canglan Mountain disciples’ quarters felt unfamiliar—
leaving behind only an inexplicable emptiness.
