Yi Tianyun stumbled back several steps. A deep gash now marked his palm; he had clearly been wounded by Liang Tiancheng’s technique, forcing him to drop his weapon. ’If I hadn’t let go,’ he thought, ’I wouldn’t have just lost my sword—I would have lost my whole hand.’
"Junior Brother!"
Qin Xue and the other disciples started to rush forward, but Yi Tianyun shouted hastily, "Stay back! I’m no longer a disciple of rak Palace! I don’t want to drag the palace into this, so please, don’t interfere!"

Those standing closer were caught imdiately. As for Liang Tiancheng, who was in mid-charge, he was frozen stiff in an instant, dropping from the air to land on the ground, rigid and motionless!
