Today was day two for Grand Guild Gas, and the square was already packed with spectators by the ti the guild mbers began gathering in the center.

A large glass screen floated above. It was a magical object that would be used for the purpose of this event today.

The royal herald stood on a platform ready to make the announcents.

Aiden sat on the spectating seats with the rest of Ravens Grave guild. Although he was banned from only participating on the last day, he however decided to just stay off entirely.

Piers, Kayden, Arianna, and Innis were the ones representing the guild today. They stood at the center with the rest of the other participants.

Ambrose and Talen, mbers of the Fractured Stars, were among the participants in the event, representing their guild today.

"Welco, citizens and competitors, to Day Two of the Grand Magic Gas!" His magically amplified voice carried across the entire square. "Today’s event is one of speed, cunning, and teamwork. We call it... The Hunt for the White Rabbit!"

The Crowd murmured.

The herald continued. "Sowhere within this city, a ssenger rabbit has been released. It is marked by a red ribbon tied around its body. Your objective is simple: find the rabbit and capture it."

At that mont, the floating glass screen above began to glow, revealing the image of a white rabbit hiding in a corner, a bright ribbon tied around its neck.

The screen also showed part of the area where it was hidden, a small glimpse of the city around it, serving as a clue to make the search just a little easier.

He paused for effect.

"However, there are rules. The rabbit is protected by powerful enchantnts. It cannot be hard by and any attempt to do so will result in imdiate disqualification. Additionally, no violence between competitors is permitted. Any guild caught breaking this rule will be banned from the remainder of the Gas."

The herald gestured broadly. "The guild that retrieves the rabbit and returns it to this platform first will be declared the winner. Competitors, take your positions!"

Piers cracked his knuckles. "Aiden, you ready?" he asked through the mind link.

"Yes." Aiden’s voice echoed clearly in their heads. Arianna and Innis heard it too.

Before heading out that day, Raven’s Grave had done their early preparations. Aiden had cast the Mind Link spell again, connecting everyone’s thoughts into one shared stream.

From that mont on, whatever any of them thought, the others would hear it as well.

They set it up for one reason, Aiden was going to help them through the search contest.

Day two was always known for that event, though what participants were ant to find changed each ti the Guild Gas were held.

Aiden’s eyes which were already constantly in draconian form, so all he had to do was use the dragon sight skill to stretch his vision outward, scanning the city in sweeping arcs.

It went through Buildings, Streets, Alleyways. Market stalls. Until he found it.

"I’ve found it," Aiden’s voice echoed in their heads. "It’s in the Temple District."

Innis responded through the link, "I know the place."

She was more familiar with Dragonhold than the rest of her team, which made her the best guide for getting them there.

The Temple District was a small section of Dragonhold lined with shrines, temples, and altars devoted to the gods; a quiet area where worshippers gathered each day to pray and perform their rites.

"Begin!" The Herald announced!

Competitors scattered in every direction.

Ravens Grave moved as a Unit following behind Innis, and most other participants from other guilds split up.

So people took flight, and so people maintained running through the streets.

"Aiden’s intel better be good," Kayden muttered as they ran.

"It is," Arianna said confidently.

"It’s starting to move" Aiden’s voice called out again. "It’s moving fast, East Side towards the trade district"

Innis slowed to a stop, glancing around before turning sharply to the right.

The rest of Raven’s Grave followed her lead, shifting direction in sync.

"The Trade District’s up ahead," she said firmly. "Spread out, keep your distance, and keep moving forward."

It was the smarter approach; by splitting up, they could cover more ground in the sa area and increase their chances of spotting the rabbit first.

They reached the trade district within minutes, but the narrow streets and tall buildings made visibility difficult.

Innis stopped, breathing hard. "Where now?"

Aiden, who had been following then said. "It’s on a Rooftop. Three buildings over. It’s resting."

Piers looked up, squinting. "I don’t see anything."

"Trust ," Aiden said.

Kayden didn’t wait. He channeled lightning into his legs and leaped, having his enhanced speed carrying him upward onto the first rooftop.

Piers who stood close to Arianna, grabbed her by the hand and teleported to the rooftop as well, using his transport magic.

Innis easily flew upwards using her wind magic.

The rabbit ssenger sat perfectly still, grooming its fur. It had that red ribbon around its body.

"There," Kayden whispered.

The rabbit’s ears twitched, and then it bolted.

"Damn it!" Kayden yelled,

The rabbit was impossibly fast, leaping from rooftop to rooftop with ease. Its movents were unpredictable.

Kayden tried to cut it off with a burst of speed, but the rabbit changed direction mid-leap, landing on a lower roof and darting into an alley.

...

While everyone tried to find the rabbit, Ambrose hovered from a distance above the city where he could have a view of every other thing below.

Then suddenly his eyes picked up strange movents happening with mages of Ravens Grave, moving about a particular area.

And out of strong curiosity, he flew towards their direction.

...

In no ti, and with Aiden’s guidance, the team of four had managed to corner the rabbit in a narrow alley.

It tried to leap away, but Arianna had already cast her mass magic, increasing its body weight far beyond what its small legs could handle. The creature struggled, barely able to move.

Innis raised her hand, guiding a swirl of wind beneath it, lifting the rabbit toward Piers, who waited with his palm open—ready to grab it and teleport back to the square to claim victory.

It was just inches from his hand when Aiden’s voice rang through their minds. "Ambrose is coming!"
