"I never saw this part coming," Aiden said as he looked around in awe at the majestic creatures gathered before him.

Cronyssia allowed her form to shrink back into her petite fra and walked toward him. "When my essence rged with into you, I realized my siblings were buried deep in your subconscious. They seed perfectly content resting there, even though they share the duty of guiding the one who carries all of our essence," she said. "So I decided it was ti for them to introduce themselves."

"You know sister, there’s such a thing as finally resting," Keyles retorted.

"Oh shut it Keyles," Cronyssia shot back while rolling her eyes.

Keyles let out a small giggle, even though there was nothing subtle about a dragon giggling.

Cronyssia then turned back to Aiden and said, "You’re carrying all of our authorities which ans you have no other option than to prepare yourself to fight against Samael."

"This is the second ti I’ve heard you refer to the Demon King as that so I take it that’s his true na," Aiden replied.

"It is," she replied. "And it is ti you understood the rest of it al."

Aiden nodded and Cronyssia began.

"Eons ago, the Oldest One ca upon a vast emptiness. From that emptiness He created the universe. But it remained still and unmoving because nothing could begin on its own. So He reached into His own authority and set ti into motion. The universe stirred and He split that concept from Himself and gave it form. That fragnt beca . The first dragon. The personification of ti."

Aiden stared in astonishnt, hearing how she ca to be.

"The Oldest One, seeing that He had created sothing like life, wished to make sothing else that reflected Him more closely," she continued.

"That was when He made the first angel, Samael. Samael was everything He envisioned, and so He made more. There was Michael, the second, then Gabriel, then Raphael, and so on until there were denizens of them."

She gestured slightly. "He loved what He had made, and wanted to see them grow, so He split one of His authorities, and dare I say His Greatest One, into several tiny fragnts and bestowed those tiny fragnts into each angel."

"This was His Authority of Transcendence."

Aiden then said, "I was taught there were only seven authorities."

Cronyssia shook her head slightly and said no, then continued. "These fragnts of the authority gave each of them really very strong and unique abilities, however these fragnts were so tiny it could not be said that any of them had authority of transcendence itself."

"So the Oldest One called these unique abilities that had been bestowed on them, ’Grace.’"

"Hmm so the Demon King’s ability to adapt and evolve is a grace bestowed on him," Aiden repeated.

Cronyssia nodded in the affirmative, then said, "However just as the angels were created, so were Destiny and The Mind."

She explained that the lives of every angel were represented and recorded on the threads of fate and each choice they made or the choices made for them would create new or complex other thread paths.

Then Aiden completed, "And that was how the Dragon of Destiny and Mind ca to be."

Cronyssia nodded, then rembered sothing that made her giggle a bit after which she said, "There was a ti when Syqora and Orlien argued about which of them ca second. It was always funny to watch, so I never told them. Truth is, they appeared only a split second apart."

Then Keyles interjected. "Since they are both not here you can say it now," he said. "We too always wanted to know."

She shook her head. "I’m never telling."

Aiden smiled, seeing how they all related like typical earthen siblings.

Then Cronyssia turned back to him to continue the story. "Amongst the angels Samael was the closest to the Oldest One and they ca to be sothing like a father and son figure."

Aiden then asked, "But what about you? Weren’t you His children as well?"

"Well it was a bit different for us," She said. "He could be called our father, but we saw Him as the creator of all things, the one who gave each of us a role in the universe"

"For Samael however, it was a more personal relationship. And for the Oldest One it also felt the sa, but only for a short period." She paused.

"He was such a complex being and He sought both perfection and imperfection at the sa ti. Trying to understand how He thought was impossible, even for ."

She continued. "The Oldest One at so point had taken issue with how perfect and flawless the angels were even with their free will, and so He decided to make the First Man. Adam"

"...then made the first woman, Lilith, and bestowed on each of them a fragnt of transcendence as well."

"Although for Adam and Lilith, the fragnts of transcendence they received were not on the sa level," Cronyssia added.

"The Oldest One had already broken down and bestowed most of that authority to the angels. And as He continued spreading it, the fragnts weakened. It was similar to how a trait becos diluted as it passes down through generations. Much later, the first humans and gods as you know them, called these powers bestowed onto them, Law"

Aiden looked in awe again and said, "So the father of gods was once human?"

Cronyssia shook her head and said no. "Not really. They had always existed in the likeness of gods but they were the only beings close to what humans are now. They were the original humans."

"Adam and Lilith then chose to create more of their own," she continued.

"They wanted companionship and friendship, and that initiative pleased the Oldest One. That was their first flaw, the desire for others like themselves. It was exactly what the Oldest One wanted. The imperfect yet perfect beings. So He blessed their children with fragnts of transcendence."

Her expression shifted slightly. "But Samael noticed that the Oldest One had begun to take more liking to His newest creations, and that was when for the first ti an angel developed a flaw. Jealousy."

"So it wasn’t that angels were flawless themselves," she said. "They just needed sothing that triggered it. However the Oldest didn’t take notice that angels weren’t all perfect either, He simply at this point had preferred these original humans more."

She paused and her voice grew quieter. "Eventually the Oldest One then beca tired or bored, it was hard to say which. And with His authority over the mind split from Him it only made Him more irrational."

"At so point, perhaps He wanted to stop existing. So He split from Himself the rest of His authorities that were in themselves aspects of the universe."

"He made the twins, Thyrak and Thyron, personifications of destruction and creation. Both their purposes served to complent the other."

"Then Veyqorin ca and finally our annoying brat, Keyles."

Keyles raised and gestured his fingers at Aiden, who smiled faintly after.

Cronyssia shook her head, then continued. "In furtherance of the creator’s work we all played out different roles,"

"Thyron gave shape and form to most of the planets and also created the lives and species that lived on these planets."

"Orlien ca up with the complex structures of souls and mind and how exactly they worked."

"Syqora’s threads of destiny beca woven into the fabric of existence itself, connecting every choice and every life across all of creation."

"I maintained the flow of ti so that everything could move forward and not remain stagnant."

"Veyqorin shaped the concept of distance and space so that things could exist separately yet remain connected."

"Keyles ensured that patterns could repeat and spread so that creation could multiply and evolve."

"And Thyrak," she glanced toward the great black dragon, "ensured that what was created could also end so that new things could take their place."

She took a breath. "Before the Oldest One then disappeared He blessed the rest of creation that we dragons were now overseeing with the last fragnts of the transcendence that still kept Him alive."

"This last fragnt of transcendence was bestowed in the rest of all other things except for us and the other higher level beings."

"This final fragnt is why plants grow into trees and why humans grow from babies till they are adults. It’s also why there’s human innovation that further causes their developnt throughout the ages."

Her voice softened. "And after that He simply ceased to exist. Or rather He beca part of everything."

She t Aiden’s eyes directly. "And it was after He ceased to exist that Samael beca a problem."
