Aiden right now was floating above the rocky platform of his pocket dinsion. He had prepared himself to deal with the demons, now.

"Laela, Arianna, I’ll co ho soon, I just need to get one thing right today." He whispered to himself.

Then his thoughts turned to the demons as he invoked his authority as the Axis.

He focused on them, on the demon lords, and an image of them ford in his mind with sudden clarity.

They were still in that dinsion. The one where Lilith had been hiding with them before.

Aiden’s eyes opened up, and a grin spread across his face. The concealnt on the dinsion was undone as Lilith wasn’t there anymore to maintain it, which ant there was nothing preventing him from reaching them now.

Without hesitation, Aiden stretched his hand forward. A blue portal opened up before him and he stepped through without looking back.

Aiden erged hovering in the skies above what resembled an abandoned dark cathedral.

Morrigan stepped out from the main entrance, having sensed his presence the mont he arrived. Slowly, the other demon lords began erging as well, one by one, until all nine stood assembled before the dark structure.

Morrigan looked up at Aiden hovering above them and spoke with a calm, almost welcoming tone.

"We’ve been expecting you, Black Dragon."

Aiden grinned down at them.

"I’ll be sending y’all off first," he said mockingly. "It’ll be swift and painless."

All nine demon lords then launched themselves into the air at once, flying directly toward Aiden.

Aiden t them head-on, propelling him forward as he flew directly into their midst without hesitation.

——

Not long after Aiden had left Eden, the gods had slowly begun returning to the ruined city.

By Lilith’s order, they began using their divine powers to rebuild the structures that had been destroyed during the battle.

Temples reford, stone by stone. Thera stood among them near one of the collapsed upper-tier platforms, using her power over earth to lift enormous chunks of debris back into place.

The city was coming back to life under their collective efforts.

Far from the main city now, Lilith and Asahel arrived back at his forr concealed sanctuary, the place where he had lived in isolation.

The structure had also been untouched by the chaos that had consud a good part of Eden earlier.

Lilith floated down gracefully onto solid ground while Asahel landed beside her.

The Holy Grail floated beside Lilith as she turned toward Asahel and spoke firmly.

"We already have what we need," she said. "We don’t need to waste any more ti."

Asahel nodded. He knew exactly what she ant by that.

——

Back at Dellheim, the three dragons were still holding their positions at the sealed gates of the demon realm.

Their power continued pouring into the chains, maintaining the barrier that kept Samael imprisoned within.

Then suddenly, Syqora spoke without turning away from the gate before them.

"You’ve co to face us as yet a re illusion, spouse of Adam."

Lilith’s voice echoed through the space as her form materialized before them. She smiled at Syqora’s words.

"You do a great disservice by still referring to as Adam’s wife, oh Dragon of Destiny."

Lilith had approached the dragons, but it wasn’t truly her standing there. It was an illusory projection of herself.

The real Lilith remained far away in Eden still. She was being careful.

Thyron’s voice thundered outward in fury.

"Leave here at once, Lilith, lest you incur our wrath!"

The illusory form of Lilith remained calm, unbothered by the threat.

"But you know I can’t do that, White Dragon. I am fairly certain that the Dragon of Destiny, the one who sees all fate, would have known of this mont."

She paused, then added with conviction:

"But don’t you worry," she said. "This is but a re visit of courtesy."

"You dragons are an existence so powerful you could even rule this world if you wish. But right behind these gates is the only being I have truly cared about, and for him, I will defy even you dragons."

The air around her illusory form flickered, and then vanished completely.

The three dragons remained silent for a mont after her departure.

Back in Eden, the real Lilith grabbed onto the Holy Grail floating before her, then spoke;

"I wish for the seal binding Samael to beco ineffective."

The Grail glowed brilliantly with golden light, and its power spread outward across the universe.

In that mont the wish was made, all three dragons at Dellheim realized imdiately what had happened. The seal had been tampered with.

"No," Thyron whispered in disbelief.

All three dragons imdiately poured every ounce of their remaining strength into undoing the tampering.

Deep within the demon realm, in a throne room shrouded in darkness, a figure sat upon a black throne. He wore dark clothing and his white hair fell over his shoulders.

His face was expressionless at first, then suddenly, a devious smirk arched across his lips.

The dragons did everything they could to undo the tampering, pouring every ounce of their power into reinforcing the seal. Perhaps they could have stopped it if given enough ti.

But that slight mont when the seal lost its integrity was exactly what Samael needed to push through with all of his power.

In fact, he had been waiting on that specific mont when the seal would falter just enough for him to act.

Samael stood slowly from his throne, and his weapon materialized in his right hand.

The Longinus.

Samael shifted his stance backward slightly, pulling the spear back behind him like a javelin thrower preparing for a monuntal throw.

Then he hurled the longinus forward with devastating force.

The spear shot through the air like a bolt of lightning, traveling out of the throne room and into the endless expanse of the Demon Realm beyond, crossing vast distances in re seconds.

Then It passed overhead, through the multitude of uncountable demons that had gathered behind the gates that sealed them in.

The spear reached the sealed gates monts later and struck true. It pierced through the chains from behind with pinpoint precision, causing massive fractures to spread outward along their entire length.

Their eyes widened simultaneously as they sensed Longinus’s impact reverberate through the chain they had been holding together.

The dragons glanced at each other quickly, understanding what was about to happen.

Slowly, the chains began snapping one by one. The gates started rumbling violently as cracks spread across their surface.

"We can’t hold this for much longer," Orlien said urgently.

Syqora turned toward Thyron and spoke.

"Our end from this mont is inevitable, but if we must bet everything on Thyrak’s vessel, then we cannot fall here."

Thyron nodded in agreent, as did Orlien.

With that understanding between them, all three dragons withdrew their hands from the seal at once.

Syqora lifted his wings upward and flew, ascending rapidly through the pit.

Thyron and Orlien followed imdiately behind him as they each flew out of the edge of the demon realm and erged into Dellheim’s open sky monts later.

Thyron stopped midair once they erged from the pit and raised her hands slightly as she used her authority.

Lava then erupted out of nothing on the ground below, spreading rapidly across the entire continent of Dellheim.

The molten flow was ant to sink the continent into hot lava, creating a barrier between the demons and the rest of the world. For if the demons all left through the gates, the next entry point would be Dellheim itself.

And Thyron intended to make that entry as costly as possible.

With that done, she turned and continued flying alongside Syqora and Orlien as they put distance between themselves and the Demon Realm’s sealed gates.

Not long after the dragons departed, the massive gates of the Demon Realm opened dramatically.

Several demons poured out en masse, numbering in the millions. They sward forth like locusts, flooding outward from behind those massive gates that had held them imprisoned for so long.

And then, amidst that ocean of demons...

A foot stepped out. Then another.

The figure erged slowly from within the darkness beyond the gates, walking rather calmly as though he had all the ti in the world.

Samael, The Fallen had returned to this world.

His expression was serene, almost peaceful, as he looked around at the world before him with satisfaction.

"How delightful," Samael said with a faint smile tugging at his lips. "To breathe this sort of air once more."

——-

On the battlefield where Aiden had fought against the demon lords, most of them had already been defeated.

In fact, it turned out that Aiden had just used Genesis Zero monts ago, and the devastating attack had seemingly disintegrated the rest of them in one final wave of destruction.

However, three figures remained alive amidst the carnage, barely even standing.

Morrigan, Asmodai, and his sister Astaroth were not completely consud by Genesis Zero’s light of disintegration, but they were heavily wounded.

Their bodies were battered and broken, with skin torn open and blood dripping from countless wounds.

Both Astaroth and Morrigan were missing a limb or two.

Aiden looked almost unscathed. There was little blood stained his face, but it wasn’t his own.

He stared down at the three struggling demon lords from midair and spoke mockingly.

"Being able to survive Genesis Zero, I see you three are the strongest ones."

But then Astaroth’s body began disintegrating rapidly despite her attempts to hold herself together.

Asmodai’s form had cracks spreading across it like shattered glass, with pieces slowly peeling away bit by bit.

Morrigan suffered the sa effect as Asmodai. Her body was fractured visibly as Genesis Zero’s delayed destruction continued its work.

Aiden stretched his hand toward them once more to finish them off for good this ti. White light began forming in his palm as he prepared another devastating blast.

But just before he released it, Morrigan smiled while looking directly at him. Aiden noticed that smile but said nothing before releasing the blast that caught them all.

However, in that very mont, a voice rang directly into Aiden’s head.

It was Syqora’s voice.

"Vessel of Thyrak... The Demon King has returned."

And right then, Aiden’s eyes widened with terror as he felt an overwhelming surge of fear and shock crash through him.
