Now reading: Chapter 149 - 12: Primordial Imparts the Dharma, Cause of Al from My Dreams Connect to Ancient Times, a Eastern novel by Happy 6 Ears.

"You cultivate the Supre Skill and Spirit Treasure’s Slaughter, and you have also obtained my Primordial Body. There is no need, then, to teach you anything else... I shall give you so pointers first."

"The cultivation of the Primordial Body must never stagnate. This body is about the Creation of Heaven and Earth, the flourishing of all things, and the Cause of All Fruits... Ponder these words well."

Lu Xuan nodded in vague understanding, then said pensively:

"Second Master, I previously had a vague understanding of the Creation of Heaven and Earth. I once split open the murky Chaos within my Acupoints and attempted to create all things within them. Although I failed, my Primordial Body still grew..."

"COUGH, COUGH..."

Before he could finish, the Daoist in the flas coughed.

After a long mont, he said softly:

"Hmm, is that so... Not bad, not bad at all. It seems your comprehension of the diation of Creation is quite profound. Yes, in that case, you should properly contemplate the aning of Cause and Effect."

"Thus, I will bestow upon you one more skill: the Cause and Effect Skill. Rember, do not use it lightly. For soone at your current level of Cultivation, great terror is hidden within Cause and Effect. Your focus should be on comprehension. Do you understand?"

"I understand."

The Daoist nodded. With a thought, a Mysterious True Skill appeared in Lu Xuan’s mind, engraving itself upon the sea of his consciousness and transforming into eight hundred resplendent Great Dao Texts.

"This skill is not particularly profound, nor will it be difficult for you. Its na is [Dao Generating One]. It is one of the Divine Techniques inherent to the Primordial Body itself. Teaching it to you now will be of great benefit to your cultivation of the Primordial Body."

"[Dao Generating One] is peerless and unique. It can beco all things, yet it can also be the fundantal root. The so-called Dao is also nothingness, and Dao Generating One is the source of all things, the nexus of all change, and the fundantal manifestation of the Cause of All Fruits."

"This skill does not contain all things, yet it encompasses all matters. It is the initial cause, the cause at The Beginning. It gives rise to countless fruits, implicating everything. The fruits that arise then beco causes, which in turn bear their own fruits. This cycle repeats endlessly. This is ’the Dao generates One, One generates Two, Two generates Three, and Three generates all things.’"

As the Daoist lectured on the Dharma, Lu Xuan beca utterly entranced. As he delved into its profound depths, his form even took on a wondrous aspect of the Skill. His surroundings suddenly darkened, evoking a sense of the cosmos, Chaos, Taiji, and Wuji.

Seeing this, the Daoist nodded in satisfaction, a smile appearing on his face.

’As expected of a comprehension so close to the Dao!’

’Supre, oh Supre... How did you get so lucky!’

A long ti passed before Lu Xuan opened his eyes, his expression one of newfound understanding. His heart was filled with sincere admiration as he bowed deeply.

"This disciple understands."

"How much have you grasped?"

"This skill is profound, not simple as you claid, Second Master. It is more difficult than the diation of Creation and Third Master’s Slaying Sword Form. Even with your lecture, of the eight hundred Great Dao Texts, I have only comprehended nine in the span of a thousand breaths. I am ashad."

"..."

The Daoist fell silent, the smile vanishing from his face.

Another long mont passed. Just as Lu Xuan was beginning to feel confused, the Daoist finally spoke in a low, drawn-out voice:

"Forget it. I cannot linger here for long. I shall grant you one last opportunity... The Spirit Treasure Hamr forged your Physique, so I will refine your Divine Soul... Watch closely. This is a true Master’s Dao—not like a certain soone who leaves his disciple to his own devices and calls it ’Non-action’ and ’serenity’!"

As his voice fell,

The Daoist waved his hand gently. The burning Celestial Book shattered into ashes, and the Daoist’s figure vanished completely.

But in the void, those ashes transford and re-ford, finally becoming a wisp of Qi that predated heaven and earth.

This wisp of Innate Primordial ancestral Qi drifted about, swelled into a vast ocean, and then suddenly descended, surging down the Supre Jade Steps to wash over Lu Xuan’s mind, will, and True Spirit.

He closed his eyes once more, imrsed within it. His understanding of the Primordial Body gradually deepened, and he gained many new insights into [Dao Generating One].

And in this silence, Lu Xuan’s mind, Soul, and True Spirit were gradually suffused with the Innate Qi, taking on a profound resonance that predated heaven and earth.

As the Years flowed by, he remained imrsed, comprehending, and utterly captivated.

Ti trickled by, and an unknown duration passed.

Lu Xuan finally opened his eyes.

He slowly rose, his entire being suffused with faint wisps of a profound, mysterious aura. He seed to be standing in the present mont, yet simultaneously at The Beginning of Ancient Tis, before the Creation of Heaven and Earth.

"Disciple Lu Xuan offers his thanks to Second Master!"

Though no one was there, the young man still perford a ticulous bow toward the highest bronze statue. As he lowered his head, he failed to notice the corners of the statue’s mouth curl slightly upward, as if smiling.

He held the bow for the ti it takes to drink a cup of tea before straightening up. He then sat cross-legged on the prayer mat and silently contemplated the changes within himself.

His mind and True Spirit had been baptized. They were not just several tis stronger; they had also gained an indescribable profundity and wonder, shedding so of their Postnatal impurities to reveal a portion of their Innate, supre nature.

And with the transformation of his Soul and True Spirit, Lu Xuan found that his comprehension of All Dharma and Wonders had also reached a new level.

Of the one thousand eight hundred texts for diation of Creation, he had now comprehended two hundred and thirty. Of the one thousand Great Dao Texts for the Slaying Sword Form, he had comprehended one hundred and eighty-two.

As for the [Dao Generating One] he had just received, although it only manifested as eight hundred Great Dao Texts, these eight hundred were far more profound than those of diation of Creation or the Slaying Sword Form.

Thus, despite receiving Second Master’s lecture and the refinent of the Innate Qi, he had only managed to comprehend eighteen of them.

The Heaven and Earth Inversion, which had evolved from the Wood Splitting Form, had been brought to near Perfection after witnessing the Heaven Opening phenonon when Second Master appeared.

But the greatest progress of all was in his Primordial Body.

Lu Xuan could clearly feel that the Primordial Body was different from the Slaying Sword Form passed down by Third Master, and also different from the Taishang Lineage cultivation thod taught by his Teacher.

’The Primordial Body seems to point directly to Second Master himself. It is his fundantal great wonder, his fundantal Great Dao.’

’[Dao Generating One] is a component of the Primordial Body. Based on my calculations, it should be about ’one-ninth’ of the Primordial Body.’

’And if my previous mastery of the Primordial Body was rely scratching the surface, just one ten-thousandth of it, then now I can say I’ve mastered about one-thousandth...’

He took a deep breath and muttered to himself:

"From the looks of it, if my guess is correct, I probably need to master one-tenth of the Primordial Body before I can manifest a Supre Divine Technique. The Primordial Body should have nine Supre Divine Techniques in total, and Dao Generating One is one of them..."

"Second Master taught this skill in advance, but this Dao Generating One is ultimately too profound. It involves Cause and Effect, it involves the ultimate cause, the ultimate ’One’..."

As he spoke to himself, the light in Lu Xuan’s eyes grew brighter, and he beca progressively more excited:

"Now is not the ti. Once I ascend to the Sixth-Layer Supre Jade Steps and beco a High-ranking Celestial Human, I estimate I can truly begin to evolve things within my Acupoints. At that ti, my progress with the Primordial Body should experience a massive surge!"

"Only when I truly comprehend one-tenth of the Primordial Body can I be considered to have truly begun..."

"And this Dao Generating One, is it the Path of Cause and Effect? No, I feel it’s more than just the Path of Cause and Effect. As Second Master said, the cause at The Beginning... If this skill is cultivated to Perfection, it should beco Cause and Effect itself!"

With that, he subrged his thoughts deep into his spirit once more. Taking advantage of the supre Dao Rhy that still filled the hall and had yet to dissipate, he began to practice his breathing exercises, trying to absorb the Dao Rhy into himself.

As he cultivated, he contemplated the Profound Mysteries of [Dao Generating One]. diation of Creation also operated silently, and the aura around him alternated between withering and flourishing.

But between the cycles of life and death, growth and decay, a hint of supre and Innate aning erged.

Relying on the recent refinent from the Qi that predated heaven and earth and the lingering Dao Rhy of his Second Master,

Lu Xuan was growing stronger at an unprecedented rate.

And as he was imrsed in his cultivation,

in the space between his body and Soul, upon the two layers of the Supre Jade Steps that were slowly rising and falling, two shades of color appeared.

One ca from his Physique, from the tempering of the Third Master’s hamr, from the Third Master himself.

The other ca from his True Spirit, from the refinent of the Second Master, from the Second Master himself.

Between his physical shell, within his body and soul, the Skills of his Teacher, Second Master, and Third Master converged, seeming to encompass all the profundity and wonder in the world.

Even their three [titles] were intertwining: the Supre Profound Clarity, the Primordial’s Fusheng, and the Spirit Treasure’s Profound Yellow...

Everything was happening silently, changing silently, unnoticed by anyone, not even by Lu Xuan himself.

He was simply imrsed in his cultivation, his mind gradually calming, gradually settling, until he drifted off to sleep.
