A terrifying aura, almost tangible, coalesced into a tidal wave and pressed down upon the entirety of Dragon Tiger Mountain!

A heavy aura of Years accompanied it, causing the entire Dragon Tiger Mountain to rumble and groan under the pressure!

In the Celestial Master’s Mansion.

"Huh?" Zhu Wuneng, Yang Jian, and the others looked up at the sa ti, all a bit dumbfounded. ’Rolling Curtain Celestial King, Golden Body Buddha...’

Imdiately, Yang Erlang, Nezha, and Li Changgeng all turned to look at Zhu Wuneng in unison, but he just looked back with a blank expression.

The Old Celestial Master’s expression changed slightly, but after a brief scan with his Divine Thought, he breathed a sigh of relief and turned to give an order.

"It’s an ancient being, but only at the Grand Grade Level. Go take a look."

"Yes, Celestial Master." A Great Daoist at his side quickly responded and walked out of the Celestial Master’s Mansion.

Then, the Old Celestial Master circulated his Divine Thought, extending it outward. His solidified Divine Thought was entwined with a heavy golden light, revealing the aura of an Immortal as it joined Lu Xuan’s Divine Thought in probing Yan Jiangxue’s mind.

Yang Erlang and the others also ca to their senses and once again extended their Divine Thought. Li Changgeng warned Zhu Wuneng:

"Save her first!"

The portly old man snapped out of his daze. He gave the impressively powerful figure in the sky a strange look, finding it sowhat familiar, but he didn’t have ti to dwell on it. He focused his full attention on the task at hand, just like the others.

Led by Lu Xuan’s Nian, supplented by the Old Celestial Master’s Immortal thought, and joined by the five Grand Grade Level Divine Thoughts of Yang Erlang, Big Black Bull, and the others,

the seven strands of thought rged into one. They delved into Xiaoyan’s mind, attempting to shake the incredibly thick Spiritual Barrier.

.........

"What is that?"

Halfway up the mountain, the representatives from the various factions stared in shock at the astonishing phenonon on the Celestial Vault, their faces paling.

A towering figure clad in pitch-black Armor, with a head that looked like it belonged to a Catfish, descended step by step. One step summoned rolling thunder; the next stirred up monstrous waves!

Thirteen True Immortal Daoists soared into the sky. From the other halls and temples, another dozen or so True Immortals also took flight, all moving to intercept.

"Nothing bad’s going to happen, right?" Li Nanguo asked, his heart pounding with fear. "Oh, dear mother of mine, I just knew this trip would be trouble..."

"It’s fine."

Nearby, Ao Chengzhong stared at the figure in the sky and said,

"It’s a Grand Grade Level being. A Demon, it seems... but this is Dragon Tiger Mountain."

Everyone was taken aback. ’A Demon?’

’And a Grand Grade Level Demon at that?’

They exchanged stunned glances. Wang Zhiyao’s face was filled with alarm.

"It couldn’t have co from outside the pass, could it?"

"It doesn’t matter if it ca from outside the pass." An elder from the Langya Wang Family said with a smile, "A Grand Grade being can be called invincible, but it depends on where they are... This is Dragon Tiger!"

As he spoke, up in the sky.

"Who might you be, Your Excellency?" a True Immortal Daoist asked loudly.

The figure in the pitch-black Armor, Ben Bo’Erba, glanced over them coolly and chuckled.

"Since you have seen , why do you not bow?"

As his voice fell, the expressions of the twenty-odd True Immortals all changed. They felt an imnse force pressing down on them, forcing their knees to buckle uncontrollably as if to make them kneel!

"Insolence!"

Two more streaks of light shot into the sky, revealing two Great Grade Level Great Daoists. Their auras surged, as vast and powerful as a tidal sea!

"You’ve co to Dragon Tiger Mountain to cause trouble..." one of the Great Daoists said coldly, holding a Peach Wood Sword. "I’m afraid you’ve chosen the wrong place, haven’t you?"

Ben Bo’Erba lowered his head with great interest, sizing up the two Grand Grade Level Daoists, and laughed.

"You two little ones were quite lucky. You leveraged the blessing of the world’s recovery to step into the Grand Grade Level, and now you think you can stand before ?"

He raised his eyelids, then shook his head and said indifferently,

"Naive... Both of you will bow."

As his voice fell, Ben Bo’Erba reached out a palm and pressed it down toward the two Great Grade Daoists.

The two Great Daoists snorted coldly. One ford a Dharma Seal, unleashing Primordial Qi manifestations of pixiu, suanni, and Qilin. The other slashed down with his Peach Wood Sword.

He unleashed a beam of sword light that could tear the sky and split the earth, summoning a surging, rushing river of Sword Qi. It took the form of the Milky Way inverted, pouring down for eight thousand li!

"That’s a supre technique of Dragon Tiger Mountain!" the elder from the Langya Wang Family exclaid in amazent. "A single sword strike creating an eight-thousand-li-long river of Sword Qi! Each drop of that river is ford from a hundred strands of Sword Qi, condensed and intertwined. If that eight-thousand-li river were outside the Ancestor Star, it would be enough to extinguish a star!"

The representatives from the major factions all watched the magnificent spectacle in the sky with great interest. A battle between Grand Grade masters—that was a rare sight...

Another old monster at the True Immortal level, dressed in white robes, said with a smile,

"That Demon of unknown origin in the sky actually wants to fight two at once. He’s lost his mind. Those two are considered extrely strong even among Grand Grade masters."

After a pause, the white-robed old monster chuckled slyly.

"If nothing unexpected happens, that Demon will be forced to retreat within three breaths. In the ti it takes to drink a cup of tea, he’ll be fleeing for his life..."

His voice had barely faded when, in the sky.

"You have no idea of the gap between us."

Ben Bo’Erba chuckled. With one outstretched hand, he effortlessly snuffed out the eight-thousand-li river of Sword Qi that could extinguish a star. His other hand shot out sideways, striking the two Great Grade Daoists so hard they coughed up blood, their chests caving in!

Halfway up the mountain, the white-robed old monster’s expression froze.

"Er, it seems this Demon Race Little Saint is also quite extraordinary... But no matter. The two Daoists haven’t used their true techniques yet. If they summon the Five Thunders to strike, this Demon will surely retreat!"

As he spoke, the two Great Grade Daoists in the sky, still coughing up blood, exchanged a glance. Both were alard and dared not hold back any longer. They ford spells with their hands and shouted in unison:

"Annihilate Demons, Suppress Evil, Exterminate Wickedness, Shatter Devils, Capture Ghosts!"

As their voices fell, five bolts of celestial thunder, each tens of thousands of li wide, manifested. Their majestic light was brilliant, illuminating everything in all directions!

Ben Bo’Erba rely chuckled again. He swept out with his fists and palms, extinguishing the five bolts of righteous and brilliant celestial thunder, and also sent the two Great Grade Daoists flying, spilling blood!!

The entire Dragon Tiger Mountain fell into a dead silence. The white-robed old monster was dumbstruck. He swallowed hard and was about to say sothing else, but the elder from the Langya Wang Family beside him stopped him.

"Brother Guan, say no more, please say no more..."

The old monster gave a bitter smile and shut his mouth.

And at this mont, in the sky.

Ben Bo’Erba looked down upon Dragon Tiger Mountain. He reached out and imprisoned the two Great Grade Daoists in the palm of his hand, then spoke with a voice like thunder, full of pity.

"Seventy thousand years ago, the Buddhist Sect’s Sandalwood rit Buddha trembled and fled at the sight of ."

"Also seventy thousand years ago, I single-handedly suppressed the Demon Race’s Great Saint who caused the Great Turmoil in Heaven."

"I have personally witnessed the River of Ti being severed, seen the fault lines of history, and lived through the world’s decline in the End of Dharma Era."

"My na is recorded in the Immortal Mother’s register, and the Demon Ancestor himself has praised my deeds!"

The vast and mighty voice reverberated throughout Dragon Tiger Mountain. Countless Daoists and visitors’ expressions changed drastically!

"This is..." The great director from Aotao Organism was horrified. "This is... one of the Immortals and Buddhas returned from Ancient Tis!!"

Countless people gasped. Wang Zhiyao, Zhang Jifeng, and the others were also profoundly shaken, their minds echoing with the words spoken by the figure in the sky!

’He scared off the Sandalwood rit Buddha, single-handedly suppressed the Great Saint of the Demon Race who could cause the Great Turmoil in Heaven, personally experienced the great era when the River of Ti was severed, and witnessed the End of Dharma!’

Soone muttered in a daze,

"Are the Immortals and Buddhas... beginning to return?"

Everyone was deathly silent, except for Li Nanguo, who had a miserable look on his face.

"I knew sothing bad would happen, I knew it..."

.........

In the Celestial Master’s Mansion.

"It’s no good!"

Yang Erlang said in a low voice,

"Sothing is wrong with this Spiritual Barrier. It’s getting stronger, and its level is already approaching that of a High-Rank Immortal!"

The Old Celestial Master gave him a surprised look.

Lu Xuan, fully focused, replied at the sa ti,

"Xiaoyan’s condition is very strange. She fell unconscious shortly after entering Dragon Tiger Mountain. Her Three Souls and Seven Spirits and her True Spirit have all withdrawn into this Spiritual Barrier!"

As he spoke, a Cyan Lamp appeared in his hand. The candlelight flickered, and fine wisps of fire traveled along everyone’s Divine Thought toward the Spiritual Barrier.

This was the Jade Void Fire. It used concepts like Cause and Effect as fuel; there was nothing it could not burn, nothing it could not lt. Lu Xuan controlled it with extre care.

Soon, this wisp of fire abruptly turned ethereal and entered Xiaoyan’s head, burning toward the thick Spiritual Barrier.

’HISSS!’

The Spiritual Barrier was instantly reduced by half, canceling out the wisp of fire. But it imdiately returned to its original state, and even beca slightly stronger!

Lu Xuan’s expression turned grim.

Beside him, the Old Celestial Master said gravely,

"Fellow Daoist Lu, I can sense a monstrous change occurring within this woman’s mind, but I don’t know if it is for better or for worse..."

After a pause, he asked,

"When did this Spiritual Barrier appear?"

Lu Xuan shook his head, his expression extrely solemn.

"I don’t know either. I never inspected Xiaoyan’s Spiritual World before..."

He paused, took a deep breath, and blew out more wisps of fire, intending to try and burn away the Spiritual Barrier to release Xiaoyan’s Three Souls and Seven Spirits and her True Spirit.

But he was stopped by Li Changgeng.

"Don’t. The Jade Void Fire may be gentle, but if it truly starts to burn, a slight loss of control could..."

Lu Xuan dispersed the wisps of fire, a look of anxiety appearing on his face.

At this mont, Yang Erlang said,

"Martial Uncle, please be patient. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing. A Spiritual Barrier of this level would never appear without a reason. And it looks a lot like..."

He hesitated for a mont, then continued,

"It looks a lot like the thod so Immortals and Buddhas from Ancient Tis used to seal their own mories when they underwent Reincarnation. Of course, I can’t be certain."

Lu Xuan was taken aback. ’A thod to seal one’s own mories?’

He couldn’t help but recall what the Lady had once said in the Stone Monunt World: that he and Xiaoyan were bound by a karmic bond from a past life...

Lu Xuan’s heart stirred, and his tense nerves relaxed slightly. Just as he was about to say sothing, a series of booming noises ca from outside the Celestial Master’s Mansion, and the light of a Great Thunder shone in.

Everyone frowned, and then they all heard a mighty voice vibrating its way inside.

"The Sandalwood rit Buddha trembled and fled at the sight of ..."

"I single-handedly suppressed the Demon Race’s Great Saint who caused the Great Turmoil in Heaven..."

"I have witnessed..."

"My na is recorded in the Immortal Mother’s register, and the Demon Ancestor himself has praised my deeds!"

As the great voice reverberated, everyone in the Celestial Master’s Mansion looked at each other in confusion.

The Old Celestial Master’s expression suddenly changed.

"It seems it really is a returned Ancient Immortal or Buddha, and one with extrely high status in Ancient Tis!"

Lu Xuan also narrowed his eyes slightly.

"Interesting... Do you know him?"

As he spoke, he looked at Yang Erlang and the others, who all had strange expressions. The Old Celestial Master also subconsciously glanced over at these few ’Grand Grade’ beings, a hint of suspicion rising in his heart.

’From what Lu Zi said... these few Grand Grade masters he’d never seen or heard of before seem to know the Immortals and Buddhas of Ancient Tis?’

Yang Erlang, Nezha, and Li Changgeng all shook their heads and said in unison,

"We don’t know him, but..."

They all turned to look at Zhu Wuneng with strange expressions.

Zhu Wuneng blinked, looking completely lost.

"I don’t know him either... but he does look a bit familiar. I just can’t quite place him..."

After a pause, he stared at the figure outside clad in pitch-black Armor, at that Catfish face. He seed to have a realization, and his expression turned peculiar.

"Wait a minute, the more I look, the more familiar he seems. It’s related to Old Sha... I think, I think that’s Ben Bo’Erba?"

"Who’s that?" Lu Xuan asked, focusing his attention. "The one who scared off a Buddha and single-handedly suppressed a Great Saint of the Demon Race..."

"Uh, about that..." The portly old man coughed twice. "He’s bluffing."

Lu Xuan and the Old Celestial Master at his side were both stunned. The latter was even more astonished. ’These people accompanying Lu Zi... what are their origins?’

’Could it be that, like Lu Zi, they are ancient beings who have awakened their past-life mories?’

The Old Celestial Master’s heart skipped a beat.

Just then, the mighty voice exploded from outside the Celestial Master’s Mansion once more.

"All of you! Those who chant my master’s true na shall be spared from disaster and calamity! You shall attain eternal life in the great age to co!"

"All of you! Why do you still not bow?"

A terrifying celestial might pressed down. Zhu Wuneng couldn’t bear to watch any longer. He walked out of the Celestial Master’s Mansion and shouted,

"Ben Bo’Erba!"

"Aye, here!" The figure in the pitch-black Armor replied instinctively and turned to look.
