The crowd was in an uproar.
While he was speaking, up on Dragon Tiger Mountain, the expressions of the four Immortals seated in the palace halls and the armored Upper Palace Master all changed.
The Upper Palace Master glanced at the crumbling fragnts of the Upper Palace and asked coolly,
"So, the Sanqing Temple Master is Lu Zi, and Lu Zi is the Sanqing Temple Master... You’ve hidden yourself quite well."
"There’s no point in talking."
Lu Xuan didn’t use the Heaven and Earth Profound Yellow Exquisite Pagoda. He rely stroked the Three-Five Evil-Slaying Sword resting on his knees and spoke softly,
"I am right here. If you wish to cut down, kill , or capture , then co."
"You’re very confident." The Upper Palace Master grinned. "But..."
Before he could finish, a long spear appeared in his hand. It silently pierced the void, warping through space to materialize behind the young man’s head, exuding a savage killing intent!
"Look out!" The Old Celestial Master, who had been stunned by Lu Xuan pulling out a Three-Five Evil-Slaying Sword, had his expression change.
But the young man seed oblivious, allowing the Divine Spear to tear through space and aim for the back of his head. Just as Nether Fire ignited at the spear’s tip, about to pierce him through...
Suddenly,
"I walk the Human World. Heaven and earth praise , and all things bow in reverence."
Lu Xuan spoke, his eyelids lowered. The Divine Spear froze in the void, an inch from the back of his head. The Upper Palace Master’s expression changed. He channeled his power, bending the very tip of the spear, yet it couldn’t advance an inch.
He couldn’t even pull the Divine Spear back. The entire weapon was still bending, as if... it was bowing in reverence.
Songs of praise descended from the Celestial Vault, tangible and swirling around the young man.
He looked up, raising his eyelids. His eyes shone brilliantly, like two Great Sun Golden Lamps!
"Why do you not bow?"
Lu Xuan asked calmly, his gaze fixed on the Upper Palace Master.
The latter’s expression shifted. He abandoned the bent Divine Spear and bellowed,
"Sothing’s wrong! Attack together! Suppress and kill him at once!"
The Immortals from the Life and Death Second Floors and the Earth Palace snapped back to their senses. They each unleashed their ultimate Great Slaughter Techniques, and the brilliant light blotted out the entire Celestial Vault!
"Everyone, have you forgotten about ?"
The Old Celestial Master smiled gently. After a deep look at the Three-Five Evil-Slaying Sword lying flat on the young man’s knees, he raised his own Three-Five Evil-Slaying Sword.
Then he charged toward the four Immortals seated in the palace halls. Despite coughing up blood, despite being battered and covered in wounds, he did not retreat!
Seeing this, Lu Xuan didn’t hesitate. A ferocious light flared in his eyes as he stared at the Upper Palace Master and roared,
"You have seen , so why do you not bow!"
A terrifying, heavy pressure from the world itself bore down on the Upper Palace Master’s spine. He let out a grunt, showing signs of his back bending, and then beca furious.
"So this is the station of a Human Saint? However, this is not Ancient Tis! No matter how heaven-defying this status is, how much of its power can you truly wield?"
"’Words Beco Law’... But you yourself are not yet an Immortal. How could you possibly know the might of an Immortal?"
As he spoke, more than one hundred of the Acupoints all over the Upper Palace Master’s body began to glow, projecting grand scenes—vast Grotto Heavens, one after another!
Each Acupoint was a boundless Grotto Heaven Blessed Land. A hundred Acupoints resonated, a hundred Grotto Heavens exerted their power in unison, shattering the worldly pressure that had been bearing down on his spine!
The next instant, the Upper Palace Master struck out with his hand. In his palm, nine Acupoints that had evolved into Grotto Heavens began to shine. Nine Grotto Heavens were glowing!
Lu Xuan’s brow furrowed. He held the Three-Five Evil-Slaying Sword in his left hand and the God-Beating Whip, ford from the Ancient Tree Branch, in his right. With sword and whip, he drew a faint line in the void, defining a boundary.
"All skills, all daos, all calamities, shall not cross this line."
The crystalline, jade-like palm struck, but it froze before that illusory boundary, unable to advance an inch!
Lu Xuan calmly spoke again.
"Wind. Lightning. Fire."
"The three calamities of the Human World, I bestow them all upon you."
A brilliant bolt of heavenly lightning struck down upon the Upper Palace Master’s head. A calamitous fire ignited within his body, and a sinister wind from the Nine Nether and Yellow Springs blew upon him, chilling his hands and feet and cracking his very Soul!
"With the three calamities upon you, the five declines must follow."
The Upper Palace Master withstood the brilliant heavenly lightning, but it made him cough up blood. His internal organs were collapsing under the scorching fla, and his Soul was being fractured by the sinister wind.
But before he could recover, the already bloodstained Armor on the Upper Palace Master’s body began to be sullied with filth, and his shoulder-length black hair withered.
His flawless, Innate body, long since impervious, began to drip sweat and emit a foul odor. The Immortal Light that once enveloped him began to dim!
The Upper Palace Master’s movents slowed. The three calamities raged within him—wind, fire, and lightning crashing wildly through his body. Even the Ninefold Divine Ladder connecting his body and Soul began to crack.
On the outside, the signs of the five declines manifested: his robes were soiled, his hair withered, his body sweat-soaked, his flesh stank, and his spirit dimd!

Far away, a True Immortal who witnessed this scene spoke in terror,
"The Celestial Human Five Declines... That’s a tribulation for when one’s lifespan is at its end! But... but how can an Immortal suffer this tribulation??"
The signs of the five declines only manifest when a Celestial Human, Earth Immortal, or True Immortal is about to reach the end of their lifespan. It is a disaster, a tribulation, and also a final end.
The very reason Immortals are called immortal is because their lifespans are endless! They do not experience the five declines or undergo tribulations!
And yet? A living Immortal, a Celestial Venerable, was showing the signs of the five declines on his body!
Kong Ru said fanatically,
"This is what it ans to be a Saint! When a Human Saint speaks, it is like a decree from heaven and earth! All skills follow, and calamities, hardships, and disasters all obey his command!"

The Upper Palace Master let out a cry of shock and rage,
"Sothing is wrong! I’m aging! The five declines are upon !"
The four Immortals surrounding the Old Celestial Master also noticed this, and their expressions changed.
The one shimring with Buddhist light chanted a Brahma Sound.
"I’ll help you!"
He struck, bypassing the Old Celestial Master and attacking Lu Xuan. The radiance of a Great Buddha appeared on his crystalline palm, within which a phantom Buddha Country rose and fell!
The Old Celestial Master’s face changed. He brandished his Three-Five Evil-Slaying Sword and conjured Infinite Golden Light, trying to block the attack. But he was hit hard by the other three Immortals, and his flawless body beca covered in cracks like fragile porcelain as he coughed up mouthfuls of blood!
Just as the jade-like palm, holding the light of the Buddha, was about to smash Lu Xuan to pieces,
The next instant, the Daoist Temple that should have been beneath Lu Xuan bizarrely appeared beside him, intercepting the blow.
The Buddha’s Palm struck the Daoist Temple, causing the Sanqing Temple to tremble violently. The ghostly colors surrounding it shattered, the Chaos Qi was dispersed, and a crack appeared on the wall!
"This is..." The one shimring with Buddhist light had a sudden change in expression. "Everywhere? A characteristic of the Celestial Realms?"
Lu Xuan paid him no mind, his eyes fixed on the Upper Palace Master, who was afflicted by the three calamities and the five declines.
He swung the Three-Five Evil-Slaying Sword and the God-Beating Whip at him simultaneously!

The Three-Five Evil-Slaying Sword struck his Armor, letting out a crisp ring, but it failed to harm him in the slightest. Lu Xuan’s own Cultivation was only at the Grand Grade. While Grand Grade and Immortal seed to be separated by a single step, the actual gap was vast!
Instead, it was the Ancient Tree Branch he had nad the God-Beating Whip that proved effective. The black Emperor’s Blood staining it touched the Upper Palace Master, who let out a wretched scream as his Immortal Golden Form was broken!
"What is this?!" he stared at the dark blood on the branch, feeling a familiar aura, his mind reeling with shock and uncertainty.
Lu Xuan’s gaze sharpened, and he gave a aningful smile.
"The Blood of Gouchen. The blood of the Emperor of the Upper Palace of Gouchen. This whip once lashed him nine thousand tis."
"Impossible!!" The Upper Palace Master’s face contorted in a furious rage, and he roared, "How dare you slander the Emperor!"
He was a contingency left behind by Gouchen, completely devoted and pious towards him. Now truly enraged, he ignored the three calamities and five declines, forcing an attack even as the five declines corroded his body.
The clang of Weapons resounded, so piercing that Lu Xuan’s ears throbbed with pain and blood trickled from them. But he paid it no mind, only chuckling lightly.
"You can feel it, can’t you?"
The Upper Palace Master’s expression changed once again.
A sharp glint flashed in Lu Xuan’s eyes. Sensing the great turmoil in his opponent’s state of mind, the montary instability, he imdiately roared again,
"The three calamities intensify, the five declines descend! Your heart is in chaos; you have fallen into the Red Dust."
"Since you have fallen into the Red Dust, how can you be an Immortal?"
"Since you are not an Immortal, how can you live forever?"
The calamities of wind, fire, and lightning surged. The signs of the five declines grew more and more severe. The Upper Palace Master began to age, and the Grotto Heavens ford from the Acupoints in his body collapsed one after another!
His undying, ageless body was broken. He had actually fallen, however briefly, from his exalted station as an Immortal!
And then, the Three-Five Evil-Slaying Sword and the God-Beating Whip streaked across the sky and, under countless gazes of shock and terror, severed the Upper Palace Master’s head.
They had beheaded an Immortal!
The Great Cosmos let out a sorrowful cry. All of creation wept tears of blood, and heaven and earth mourned together!
