Li Hengsheng swept through the crowd. Although these Ghost Race mbers were nurous, their strength was quite average. Most were in the Transcendent Realm, so in the Postnatal Realm and Postnatal Perfection Realm, but none in the Postnatal Great Perfection Realm.
Despite not knowing what made them so crazed towards him, Li Hengsheng fought with all his might.
However, so Ghost Race mbers were indeed very dangerous.
Among the nurous Ghost Race mbers, there were not just Blood Ghosts. Li Hengsheng also encountered a rare Fla Ghost, which transford into a sea of fire upon being killed, nearly engulfing him.
There were also Ice Ghosts, whose talent was ice, with every move carrying a powerful chill, leaving Li Hengsheng’s hands feeling numb after fighting for a while.
The weather was cold enough, yet here ca this creature.
As for Mountain Ghosts, encountering Li Hengsheng, a mber of the Human Race, was like eting a nesis.
Their bodies were certainly strong, but unfortunately, Li Hengsheng’s spear was even stronger.
The only thing that Li Hengsheng found most dangerous was among the many ghosts, he encountered a faceless ghost, causing him to feel dazed in an instant.
If not for the protective Primordial Qi, he could easily have died here.
Fortunately, Li Hengsheng’s will was strong, and within just two breaths, he snapped out of his daze and slew that Illusion Ghost.
But this left Li Hengsheng shaken; two breaths without Primordial Qi, and he could have been sliced into pieces.
Li Hengsheng was like a tireless combat machine fighting ceaselessly in the streets.
Eventually, Li Hengsheng beca numb to the killing.
The Ghost Race mbers were too nurous, and he killed to the point of forgetting he was slaughtering them.
Luckily, Li Hengsheng’s Divine Body was strong; otherwise, anyone else would have been exhausted or subrged by the Ghost Race army.
Even so, after slaughtering for more than an hour, Li Hengsheng felt incredibly fatigued, almost unable to continue, more ntally than physically.
After wiping out several thousand Ghost Race mbers, yet more arrived, leaving Li Hengsheng almost unable to lift his spear from exhaustion.
Yet he continued to kill with each step.
Even his steps beca unsteady from the killing.
Anyone back at the base who understood would know he was exhausted from killing ghosts.
Those unaware might suspect he had sneaked off for a tryst with a ghost lady.
"Die!"
Another spear took the life of a Ghost Race mber, but imdiately, dozens more charged forward, as if Li Hengsheng had wronged them sohow, giving him a sense of despair.
Where were all these Ghost Race mbers coming from, and why were they all madly rushing at him as if sothing on his body was attracting them?
Suddenly, a figure descended from the sky. As the figure swept through the Ghost Race mbers like moonlight, all the Ghost Race mbers collapsed on the ground.
The movents were exceptionally swift, without any hesitation.
Li Hengsheng gasped heavily, half-kneeling on the ground. He truly wasn’t acting; he was genuinely exhausted.
He watched as the figure approached.
"No wonder I couldn’t find many Ghost Race mbers; they all ran to you, Husband. Luring so many Ghost Race mbers by yourself is a bit greedy."
The newcor was Lu Shiran.
Just an hour ago, Lu Shiran found the number of Ghost Race mbers decreasing. Originally having no shortage of them to kill, she only managed to take down a dozen in an hour, feeling sothing was amiss and decided to investigate.
Upon seeing the abundance of ghosts here, she realized they had all gathered in this area.
Lu Shiran stared at the mountain of ghost corpses along the street, awed by the sight.
Li Hengsheng alone had slain so many!
Wasn’t he tired?
"I’m exhausted."
Li Hengsheng was too weary to argue with Lu Shiran; whether she called him Husband or even Father, he no longer had the energy to correct her.
He simply wanted to sit down and catch his breath to regain strength.
"It’s not fair; you’re cheating, Husband," Lu Shiran said to Li Hengsheng righteously.
"I... I cheated? You think I wanted this? Didn’t you see how I was nearly dead from exhaustion?" Li Hengsheng retorted irritably, feeling worn out from fighting for his life against the ghosts. Yet she accused him of cheating?
What kind of logic does this girl have?
Li Hengsheng was too tired to even mock.
"You still say you’re not cheating?" Lu Shiran approached him, reached out, and grabbed sothing from behind Li Hengsheng.
"What is it?" Li Hengsheng looked surprised.
He saw a blood-colored butterfly in Lu Shiran’s palm.
This sight puzzled Li Hengsheng; what was this thing doing on him?
"Ghost Lord blood."
Lu Shiran said calmly, "Though it’s been diluted countless tis; this thing attracts many low-level Ghost Race mbers. It’s a supre tonic for them, so you used this to draw so many Ghost Race mbers here, depriving of ghosts to kill. How is that not cheating?"
