But just one month after Ye Wuchen left, an unexpected guest arrived at Alchemy Tower.

“I owed you a favor. I’m here to repay it.”
In the past, Mu Ruyue had refined an elixir that saved Murong Qingchu’s life. He had promised to divine her future, but he ended up unable to asure it, so the debt remained.
Mu Ruyue arched an eyebrow: “I wonder how you plan to repay .”
Murong Qingchu slowly set down his teacup and started smiling faintly, “Ye Wuchen’s whereabouts!”
It was as though a heavy stone struck her heart harshly – Mu Ruyue’s heart trembled. She raised her eyes to look at the man’s ethereal beauty and couldn’t help but ask, “Do you know where Wuchen is?”
“It’s not that I know, but rather, I am the only one in the world who does,” Murong Qingchu said, gazing at the woman’s anxious face, a complex light in his eyes.
This woman was always so breathtakingly beautiful and indifferent, yet only when she faced that man did such human emotions erge.
“Where is he?” Mu Ruyue took a deep breath and asked.
Observing the woman’s expression, Murong Qingchu smiled lightly, “The Boundless Channel!”
“The Boundless Channel?”
“Correct,” Murong Qingchu nodded and continued unhurriedly, “The Boundless Channel is a place completely different from the Central Continent, just as dangerous, but two years in the Boundless Channel equates to only one month here… I don’t know how he discovered the way there, but I did indeed find out through divination that he has gone to that place.”

The entrance to the Boundless Channel was situated atop a mountain range on the continent, not very far from Fengyun Empire. One could reach it with a day’s journey.
Atop this mountain range, there was a massive gate, although it was usually concealed. Upon arriving at the mountain range, Murong Qingchu did sothing on the ground, and with a loud rumble, the huge gate appeared before her.
