Her hands were around his neck. Her gaze at him was serious. She looked at him with her usual blank look but to Kira, it seemed like it was a silent threat.
This turn of event made Kira smirk in disbelief. This surefire move he thought would surely break her thick defense ended up like this?! This uns.e.xy squirrel… was she made of stone or something?!
"You want to strangle me, huh." Kira simpered. He just couldn't even describe what he was feeling anymore.
The next thing he did was ignore Zeri's hands on his neck and slowly moved his face even closer. Zeri still didn't move back, but when Kira's face was almost going to crash into hers, her hands quickly moved in a flash.
In that one moment, once again, Kira suddenly found himself in another unbelievable situation.
Zeri's hands were now on his cheeks, pinching him so hard as if she was planning to split his handsome face into two.
"A-ouch!!" Kira yelled as he held Zeri's wrists. "You… let go! Ouch! Hey! Squirrel!"
Just after those words left Kira's mouth, Zeri was startled, looking like she had just snapped out from a hypnotic daze. Her eyes widened when she realized what she was doing.
She then immediately let go of his face while Kira stepped back as he held his cheeks. Th-this squirrel! Where the hell did this little squirrel's strength e from?! Was she actually a gorilla in disguise?!
Kira's cheeks were as red as a tomato as he looked at Zeri with eyes filled with disbelief. He even stepped back involuntarily as if he was now wary of her next move.
"S-sorry." Zeri spoke softly as she bit her lip in regret. She could see his cheeks had turned so red so she realized that she must have used too much strength. She started feeling worried the moment the voice of her teacher echoed in her head.
Ahh, what have I done? What if this android gets angry at me for real?!
Extremely worried, Zeri could only apologize again. "I'm sorry. I couldn't stop myself and pinched you a bit hard." She said when he suddenly raised his hand and pinched her cheek as well.
"H-huh? Did you just say 'a bit'?" Kira smirked loudly as he raised his other hand and pinched her other cheek. "You call that 'a bit'?" he repeated as his veins popped.
Kira never once experienced getting pinched by anyone in his life. This was the first time anyone dared to do this to him. What was worse was not the fact that he was pinched by a girl with gorilla-like strength that he still felt like his face was being split in two, but because this squirrel actually said it was just 'a bit'? That's 1001% strength for a girl her size, for crying out loud!
"W-was it too hard? I'm sorry, I couldn't control my strength," she said and Kira could only force a laugh. He leaned in on her, bumping his forehead on hers as his hands were still on her face.
"You… did you really think you can get away with this just by saying 'sorry'? Huh?" he replied and again, the girl simply blinked at him. At this moment, Kira didn't even know if he should feel annoyed, angry, or what anymore.
"B-but this is your fault. If you didn't keep getting so close like this, that wouldn't have happened." She reasoned, causing Kira to just smirked again.
"Huh? Did you forget that you are now my girlfriend? Huh? Squirrel?"
"I…" as Zeri started, a certain sound interrupted her.
"Growwwlll." A certain monster inside Zeri's stomach growled, loud enough as though it was going berserk.
Kira: ". . ."
Zeri innocently held her stomach while Kira was so stunned he couldn't even speak.
"Growwwwwllll." When her stomach growled again, Zeri looked at Kira and she spoke.
"Uhm… can I go eat first? I'm really really hungry now."
"Growwwwllllllll."
Kira: ". . ."
