Kira touched his lip with his thumb as soon as he heard Zeri and when he saw his blood on it, his shoulders could only drop in surrender. It looked like his lower lip was cut due to the impact. Damn, this girl really is… what will she do to me next? She's not just torturing me mentally, now she's bullying me physically too!
Feeling defeated, Kira sat on the edge of her bed before he weakly pinched her cheek.
"You… are you going to break one of my bones next? Huh?" he asked and Zeri just blinked at him before the words "I'm sorry" left her mouth.
Hearing her soft sorry, Kira smiled at her and he held her wrist and moved her fingers near his lips. "If you're sorry, treat it."
Zeri then immediately moved and took the kit from the cabinet. She was quiet but it looked like she really was sorry for what happened.
She sat beside Kira and the moment she began putting the ointment onto the small cut on his lip, the young man suddenly flinched and an "ouch" echoed in the room.
"Will you at least do it gently?" he plained and when Zeri's brows knotted, Kira continued speaking. "It stings, okay? You should blow on it. C'mon, blow on it gently."
Kira was smiling mischievously in his head as he said those words and when Zeri seemed to have no plaint about it, Kira felt even better. It looked like the sacrifice of his poor lip wasn't in vain.
Zeri then slowly applied the ointment again. Afterwards, she began to blow on it, gently.
At that moment, Kira, who was busy mischievously smiling on the inside a moment ago, seemed to have suddenly frozen the moment Zeri blew on his lips. Kira felt like a certain soft and warm breeze was caressing his lips and... it sent shivers down his spine. It looked like the romantic scene he was trying so hard to create was finally here but… what happened to him? Why was he freezing over just a single blow from her? He had kissed so many girls and yet he felt like he was struck by Medusa's power just because this squirrel blew on his lips?! What did this girl do to him?!
As Kira was struggling to regain his senses, Zeri had already finished her task.
"Done." She said and she began to put away the things she used inside the box when Kira finally snapped out of it.
"Wait…" Kira attempted to stop her. It was because he didn't want this scene to end just yet, not when this girl was finally acting like one.
However, it looked like he was a bit too late. As soon as Zeri's eyes saw the clock on the wall, her eyes widened and she gasped.
"Ahh!! I… I… I need to go now!" she suddenly exclaimed and quickly stood up. She picked her bag Kira brought and was about to dash outside when Kira grabbed her wrist.
"Where do you think you're going?"
"To my part time job." She replied, causing Kira to pop a vein as he stood up and pulled her towards him.
"You… did you forget that you have just recovered? The nurse told you to rest, so don't go to work today." Kira said but Zeri obviously looked unwilling to listen. It seemed like it was impossible to convince her.
"I'm already feeling fine. I feel fully recovered so don't worry and please let me go now."
"Why are you so stubborn?"
"I'm not stubborn, I'm telling the truth. I already rested for half a day so I'm fine now. Do you want me to show you?"
"And how the hell would you show that?!"
"I can carry you and show you how strong and fine I am. I can even beat you up to show you that I have recovered."
