Anindya focused on bandaging Julian’s injured arm. To lighten the mood, Anindya started a conversation.
"Why did you fight with Sagara?" Anindya asked.
Julian, who was playing on his phone, said.
"Um, it’s nothing" Julian replied nonchalantly, playing on his phone.
"Then why are you hurt like this?" Anindya asked.
"Umm, because I fought with Sagara" Julian replied nonchalantly, playing on his phone.
Anindya was annoyed by Julian’s nonchalant response. After wrapping the bandage, she tied it tightly.
"OUCH! OUCH! OUCH!" Julian cried out as Anindya tied the bandage tightly.
"A-Anindya, what’s wrong?!" Julian asked, feeling the pain.
Anindya sat back in her chair, her arms crossed over her chest, a sullen expression, and an angry glare, she said
"Hmph! It’s your own fault. When I asked you a question, you answered so nonchalantly!" Anindya said with a sullen expression.
Julian rubbed his arm, which Anindya had just bandaged, his expression still filled with pain.
"Geez... I was just playing on my phone for a bit..." Julian said.
Anindya was still pouting, her cheeks puffed out like a sulking child.
"You keep playing on your phone!, Your answers are sloppy too!" Anindya said in an irritated tone.
Anindya stared sharply at Julian, then said
"So?, What exactly were you doing?!" Anindya asked suspiciously.
"I’m just chatting on Facebook" Julian replied quietly but clearly.
Anindya was surprised to hear Julian say he was chat on Facebook, when he had only been chat on WhatsApp so far. Anindya gritted her teeth, then imdiately stood up from her seat and brought her face close to Julian’s, then said
"Hah?! Who are you chatting with?!" Anindya asked with an irritated expression and tone.
Julian felt a little awkward when Anindya suddenly approached, he leaned his head back slightly, then replied.
"I-I... just chatting with an old friend, okay..." Julian replied, trying to sound casual, though a hint of anxiety was starting to creep in.
Hearing that, Anindya stepped back, then said
"Heee~... Old friend... okay, okay..." Anindya said, nodding her head in understanding.
Julian breathed a sigh of relief, but soon Anindya, with a nacing expression, moved her face closer to his again, then said
"... But tell —was it a girl or a woman?!" Anindya asked in a deep voice, as if probing deeper.
"W-what... there’s no option for a guy?" Julian asked quietly.
"Just answer it!" Anindya replied firmly.
Julian felt pressured by Anindya’s nacing expression. Julian swallowed hard, then answered.
"A-a boy..." Julian replied nervously.
"Don’t lie to ee!" Anindya shot back, bringing her face even closer.
At the sa ti, Julian quickly pulled his head back and replied.
"Se-seriously, I’m not lying!!" Julian replied in a panic.
Anindya continued to stare at Julian suspiciously. Julian took a deep breath, trying to calm himself. Still holding his phone, Julian placed his hand on Anindya’s shoulder and said,
"It’s really a boy, Anindya, Trust " Julian said with a serious expression and tone.
Anindya remained silent, her expression still suspicious. Julian turned his phone back on and opened Facebook, then showed it to Anindya
"Look, I’m just chatting with a boy" Julian said, holding out his phone for her to see.
Anindya studied Julian’s phone screen intently. Her eyes darted around, taking in the contact nas and glimpses of conversations. Sure enough, the na on the screen was Den’t Vian Daddy’s Little Boy, and from the snippets of conversation, it sounded relaxed, just talking about ordinary things, like gas and nostalgic mories from junior high.
Anindya finally breathed a sigh of relief. She realized Julian had noticed the change in her expression.
"Ah!..." Anindya said, surprised to see Julian smiling at her.
Anindya imdiately sat back down and snorted
"... H-hmph!" Anindya snorted, averting her gaze, trying to hide her embarrassnt at being so suspicious.
Seeing Anindya’s expression, Julian couldn’t help but smile. He slowly put his phone down on the bed and moved his face closer to hers.
"Anindya..." Julian called softly.
Anindya looked at Julian, startled, and her cheeks imdiately flushed red because Julian’s face was right in front of hers.
"... Don’t worry, I would never cheat on you" Julian continued, stroking Anindya’s head.
Anindya slapped his hand away and said
"Wh-who... said you were cheating?!" Anindya asked, her expression angry and annoyed, her cheeks flushed with embarrassnt.
"Hahaha, okay, okay," Julian said with a chuckle.
Julian stepped back to regain his position, then extended his left hand, and said
"Want to continue, Doctor... Anindya?" Julian asked with a mischievous smile.
Anindya glanced at Julian’s arm in annoyance
"No!, Just let it heal on its own!" Anindya said, feigning anger.
Julian suddenly felt unwell, perhaps the effects of his injury making him weak.
"Whatever... You... Anindya... I suddenly feel... unwell" Julian said weakly.
Anindya, who had been angry, imdiately changed expression. Her previously annoyed face was now filled with panic and anxiety. Julian, feeling feverish, imdiately fell asleep on the bed.
"H-huh?! J-Julian?! What’s wrong with you?!" Anindya asked, rushing over to Julian.
"I-I think... I have a fever" Julian replied weakly.
Anindya imdiately pressed her forehead against Julian’s.
"Oh my... he’s burning up!" Anindya said in a panic.
Without thinking, Anindya got up from her spot.
"Wait, I’ll get-" Anindya said, not finishing her sentence.
Before she finished, Julian grabbed her hand as she was about to go get a fever compress.
"Wait... You don’t... need to bother... I just need to sleep" Julian said weakly.
Anindya turned her head and saw Julian’s hand still gripping her wrist. Her heart ached as she saw Julian lying weakly on the bed.
"But... you’re burning with fever, Julian" Anindya said with a worried expression.
"Hmph!, Don’t worry... I just need to rest" Julian said weakly but confidently.
But after saying that, Julian let go of her hand, feeling sleepy, then he imdiately closed his eyes. Seeing that, Anindya panicked and imdiately put her ear to Julian’s chest. Hearing Julian’s breathing and heartbeat made her feel relieved.
"Phew~, thank goodness... he’s only asleep" Anindya said, breathing a sigh of relief.
After that, Anindya pulled away and spoke in confusion.
"Ohh myy!... What should I do?" Anindya said, looking around with a mixture of panic and worry.
She stopped looking around and looked back at Julian, who was now sleeping with a pale face. At that mont, Anindya thought about calling Lia. She picked up her phone and dialed Lia. When it connected
"Hello, what’s wrong, Lady Anindya?" Lia asked into the phone.
"Lia! Please help !..." Anindya replied in a panicked tone.
