The atmosphere grew tense, but Julian, already used to it, didn’t see it as a threat anymore.
"Friendly and polite, huh? I don’t think he’d be like that with , huh?" Julian asked himself with a blank expression.
Sagara pressed the handgun to Julian’s head.
"Why are you so quiet!? Hurry up and answer my question!" Sagara said.
"Alright Alright, I’ll answer, but first, get your gun away from my head" Julian replied with a resigned expression.
Sagara imdiately put the gun away and put it back in the pocket of his alma mater jacket. Julian breathed a sigh of relief and turned to face Sagara. Sagara walked to the high fence behind him, then sat on the floor, crossed his legs, and crossed his arms over his chest.
"Why is he sitting there, when there are chairs provided in every corner?" Julian thought to himself with a flat expression.
"So what do you want?" Sagara asked, his gaze intent on Julian.
Seeing this, Julian sighed and walked closer to Sagara, saying.
"Haa, chill bro, we’re schoolmates" Julian said casually.
"HUH!?" Sagara said with a threatening glare.
Julian, seeing this, stopped walking, an awkward smile appearing on his face.
"You need to rember, I’m being nice to you because Lady Anindya ordered not to hurt you!" Sagara said threateningly.
"If you weren’t Lady Anindya’s boyfriend, I might have shot you in the head the first ti we t!" Sagara continued.
"U-uwah, scary..." Julian thought to himself with a flat expression.
"Never mind, putting that aside, I wanted to ask about—" Julian said.
"About Lady Anindya, right?" Sagara interrupted.
Julian was a little amazed that Sagara knew so imdiately.
"Hee~, so you know," Julian said.
"Hmph!" Sagara snorted, turning his head to the right.
"Khhk!, his behavior is so annoying!" Julian said with an annoyed expression.
"Co on, tell about Anindya" Julian said.
"I don’t know!" Sagara replied, who was still looking away.
Julian, hearing this, beca irritated. He walked closer to Sagar, stood about a ter in front of him, crouched down, and said.
"I know about your past, you know~!" Julian said.
Sagara’s eyes imdiately widened and he swung his right fist at Julian. Julian quickly rolled back.
"Uwah, are you really planning to beat up?" asked Julian with a mocking smile.
"You!... How did you know about my past!?" Sagara asked with an angry expression.
"Of course it ca from Anindya, hehehe" replied Julian with a chuckle.
"Khhk!, Damn it!" Sagara said.
Sagara imdiately stood up, ran towards Julian, and threw a right punch. Julian ducked his head casually.
"Why are you angry?," Julian asked, squatting, tilting his head to the right and holding his right cheek with his right hand.
"It’s all in the past, so you don’t need to be angry" Julian continued.
"Khhk!" Sagara said.
Sagara pulled his right leg back, launching a knee strike at Julian’s face.
"YOU DON’T KNOW ANYTHING!" Sagara shouted angrily.
Julian couldn’t dodge, so he blocked Sagara’s knee with his right palm.
"Hmm, haven’t you been exercising and drinking enough milk?" Julian asked, holding Sagara’s knee.
Sagara was a little surprised to see Julian able to block his attack.
"You know... you need to exercise more and drink milk so your bones can develop and beco stronger" Julian said, smiling gently at Sagara.
Sagara grew even angrier, pulling his right leg back and then raising it to the right.
"Hm?" Julian asked with a confused expression as he looked up.
Sagara swung his leg at Julian—wanting to kick him hard.
"GO TO THE HOSPITAL!!!" Sagara shouted.
Julian smiled and then slide tackled Sagara’s left leg with his right—making Sagara fly in the air for two seconds. As he was about to land, Julian quickly grabbed Sagara’s outstretched right hand. Sagara was confused, but Julian, playing a prank, released his grip—making Sagara fall onto the floors.
"This way I’ll lessen the pain, hehehe" Julian said with a chuckle.
Sagara remained silent with a dumbfounded expression, staring up at the clear sky, and a gentle breeze began to blow.
"Damn, I lost twice..." Sagara thought to himself, his expression completely shocked.
Sagara looked up at the sky, rembering his relative’s words.
"You should start deepening your close-range training" Lia said seriously.
"Practice close-range more often, Sagara. Otherwise, you’ll be easily defeated if your location is discovered" Lavendina said with a smile.
"No way, you’ll just be a burden to if you can’t execute close-range attacks" Anindya said coldly.
Then, not long after, Julian’s head appeared above Sagara.
"Sagara? Are you okay?" Julian asked with an innocent expression.
Seeing Julian’s innocent expression made Sagara furious. Sagara angrily got up and said,
"Khhk! Damn—"
Sagara stopped talking as their foreheads collided.
"AKHK!" they both shouted in surprise.
They both held their foreheads, and Julian imdiately moved several ters away.
"What the hell is wrong with you!?" Julian asked annoyed, holding his forehead and staring at Sagara.
"Khhk, Shut up!, This is all your fault! Why did you suddenly appear on top of !?" Sagara asked, tensing his forehead and staring at Julian.
They both glared at each other with holding their foreheads. Julian soon asked:
"Co on, just tell the truth! Where is Anindya?" Julian asked.
"Keh! You’re stubborn! I already told you I don’t know!" Sagara replied, annoyed.
"You’re her bodyguard, why don’t you know?!" Julian asked, getting annoyed.
The silence returned, and Sagara glared at Julian’s serious expression. Finally, Sagara gave in. He stood up straight and removed his hand from his forehead.
"Haa, okay, I’ll tell you" Sagara said.
Julian began to stand up straight and remove his hand from his forehead.
"Why not earlier?" Julian said.
"Like I said, I don’t know either, because when I woke up, she and Lia weren’t ho," Sagara replied.
"That’s right, I haven’t seen Ms. Lia since this morning" Julian muttered, confused.
"Is Ms. Lavendina with them too?" Julian asked.
"No, she’s in college now" Sagara replied.
"Heee, college..." Julian said.
"Wait a minute, college? She’s still in college?" Julian asked, slightly surprised.
"Yes, she’s pursuing a Master’s degree in dicine" replied Sagara.
"That’s all I wanted to tell you" Sagara said.
"Wait a minute, I have one last question," Julian said.
"What’s that?" Sagara asked.
"Why are there so many puddles here?" Julian asked, looking down.
"Huh!?" Sagar asked with a confused expression, his right eyebrow raised and his left eyebrow lowered slightly.
"It did rain yesterday, but the puddles should have subsided or thinned out. But these puddles look like they just appeared" Julian said.
Sagara shoved his hands into his pants pockets.
"Tch, that’s none of your business. Just leave if you have nothing else to talk about" Sagara said irritably.
Sagara turned and walked toward the building—where the stairs were installed inside. Julian could only watch with a flat expression. He saw Sagara pick up a 3-liter water bottle and sit on the right side of the building.
"So that’s it, it’s him who’s making the rooftop so quiet" Julian thought to himself with a flat expression as he stared at Sagara as he drank so water.
Julian decided to descend from the rooftop via the stairs.
"Sigh... what is she actually sick with?," Julian muttered as he descended the stairs.
"Never mind, she’ll probably co to school tomorrow" Julian continued.
Saturday, 17 August, 2080, 05:46, Julian’s House, Dwi Warna I St, Central Jakarta.
Julian’s eyes widened, unable to believe what he was staring at at the dining table—Anindya was sitting there drinking warm tea, but what stunned him was the bandages on her cheeks. Seeing Julian, Anindya smiled and greeted him.
"Good morning, Julian~" Anindya greeted with a sweet smile.
