Ling Mo’s calm reaction unsettled the Glasses Man. The strange phenonon during the shooting added to his unease, leaving him montarily at a loss for words.
However, he regained his composure in a few seconds, managed a smirk, and said, “Why be so cold? I deliberately exposed myself earlier so you could find this place quickly. You should be grateful, shouldn’t you? … Among the people you brought, there’s that girl with the gun, right? … She’s impressive, she actually managed to hit …” The Glasses Man slowly raised the arm holding the remote control, and couldn’t help but let out a groan of pain.

Such experiences don’t elicit any sympathy at all!
However, the Glasses Man seed to have entered a state of frenzy as he continued to shout hysterically, “After the world changed, I stayed with a few colleagues. Ling Mo silently watched him but imdiately began to think.

“Disregard his apparent deanor; focus purely on his actions… Since he didn’t opt to detonate the explosives imdiately, it suggests they might not have the catastrophic power he claid to topple the building… The iron cage is ant to confine, which implies the amount of explosives is limited. Ling Mo is the only one who can barely perceive …” the Glasses Man thought, his gaze involuntarily flicking towards the base, his smile unnervingly chilling. “Even if he suspects sothing, he wouldn’t dare gamble… That’s human nature. At that mont, he noticed Ling Mo take two steps back and subtly lean against a column.
