A creature much larger than the Infant was curled up inside. At first glance, it appeared purely blood-red, giving the impression of having no skin. It seems her reaction wasn’t out of fear but to conceal so sort of internal variation… and his attention had just been diverted to the Creatures inside the insulated box, allowing the current “Xiao Yue Er” to pull off her act.
“Haven’t you always been curious? About what I really want you to do and things related to ?” “Xiao Yue Er” grinned, revealing teeth stained with blood, and said with a smile.
“You’re… the Ranch owner!” Ling Mo imdiately tightened his grip on the power bank.
“I prefer it when people call sister,” “Xiao Yue Er” slightly frowned before quickly smiling again, “You can call Sister if you like.”
“I don’t like it.”
“Then just call sister,” “Xiao Yue Er” seed completely unfazed by Ling Mo’s defensive stance. She took a few steps back and then lightly jumped onto a box, swinging her legs innocently. “I’m not actually interested in you,” she pointed at Ling Mo and then at her own head, “I’m interested in the one influencing you.”
“What?!” Ling Mo felt a sudden jolt in his heart, but then reconsidered. This “Xiao Yue Er” seed to have a situation quite similar to his… Yet, Ling Mo didn’t sense any particularly strong psychic fluctuations from her nor did he detect any probing activities.
“Maybe we’re the sa kind.” “Xiao Yue Er” spoke directly to what Ling Mo was thinking. Tilting her head, she continued, “At least you’re the first I’ve encountered. If…”

“No!” Xiao Yue Er scread as she lunged toward Ling Mo.
Prepared for this, Ling Mo imdiately kicked a power bank towards her, while the one in his hand accurately struck another insulated box.
“Boom!”
The muffled sound echoed again, and Xiao Yue Er’s eyes turned completely crimson.
She stared intently at Ling Mo, suddenly throwing her head back and letting out a roar.
At the sa ti, Ling Mo’s foot was nearing the last insulated box.
But at that mont, the Monster inside suddenly opened its eyes, staring coldly at Ling Mo.
Compared to a Zombie, the Monster’s gaze was even more terrifying… It held no excitent, no cruelty, not even coldness… It was like two lifeless glass balls, eerily rotating as they fixed on him…

The Monster’s body moved abruptly, and the next mont a hole appeared in the insulated box.
