"But," Satou said with a slight smile, "they’re all inexperienced. Three weeks of training doesn’t make skilled warriors. And TheReaper provided detailed information about their weaknesses and how to counter each ability."

Seraphina’s hand squeezed his thigh. "The legendary hero actively coaching his chosen opponent. I love it."

"The humans will be furious when their assault fails," Loki added with a grin.

"Alright," Seraphina said, shifting fully into command mode despite the intimate contact she maintained with Satou. "We have two major threats. The human army in one month, and Richard Clay’s current vulnerability. Both require imdiate action."

Loki stood. "For the human assault, we focus on defense. Fortifications, strategic positioning, supply stockpiles. Seraphina, can you spare troops?"

"I’ll match that," Loki said. "Two hundred of my best, plus specialists—siege weapon operators, defensive mages, tactical coordinators."

"Plus my settlent’s forces," Satou added. "We’ve been training constantly."

"For Richard Clay," Loki continued, "Seraphina and I mobilize our intelligence networks imdiately. When we find him, we notify you, verify the connection, then strike before he returns to Chronus."

"Agreed," Satou said, his voice carrying cold determination.

Seraphina stood gracefully, though she kept one hand on Satou’s shoulder. "I need to return to my territory and start mobilizing. Every hour counts."

"That’s not why—" Satou started.

"We know," Jessica interrupted gently. "We know you care about her for her, not her position. Just like you care about us for us." She smiled, though there was complexity in it. "We can share you with Seraphina. As long as you don’t forget about us."

"Never," Satou said fiercely, standing and moving to take both their hands. "You two are... everything. Jessica, Lyra—you’re the ones I trust with my life, my secrets, my everything."

"And Seraphina?" Lyra asked quietly.

"Is soone I care about deeply," Satou admitted. "Soone who understands the weight of power and responsibility. Soone who..." He paused. "Soone who sees as an equal, not a subordinate or an asset."

"Fair enough," Jessica said. She squeezed his hand. "Just rember—we were here first."

Despite the heavy conversation, Satou found himself smiling. "How could I forget?"
