And then Richard did sothing that Satou had never seen before, sothing that made even his combat-hardened instincts scream danger.

Ti itself went haywire in a twenty-foot radius around Richard’s position.

Not slowed. Not accelerated. Haywire. Completely broken.

Cause preceded effect—fires burned before the sparks that ignited them, objects broke before the impacts that damaged them.

Monts happened out of sequence—Satou could see after-images of Richard’s attacks land before the actual attacks were thrown, could watch effects occur before their causes.

Past, present, and future bled together—the library existed in multiple states simultaneously, showing as it was now, as it had been hours ago, as it would be after total collapse.

Reality beca optional—the normal rules of physics hesitated, paused, struggled to maintain coherence in the face of temporal chaos that made causality itself uncertain.

It was like watching the universe have a seizure, like reality itself was glitching worse than Richard’s form had been, like the fundantal laws that governed existence were taking a coffee break.

The technique was devastating, overwhelming, reality-warping in the most literal sense. It was the kind of assault that would overwhelm most opponents through sheer disorientation alone, even before accounting for the actual danger of the temporal effects.

This was Richard at his absolute peak, empowered by a demon lord, using techniques that few beings in existence could deploy.

It should have been overwhelming. Should have been unbeatable. Should have ended the fight right there.

But Satou had been holding abilities in reserve specifically for this mont.

"So you can call on your demon lord for power?" Satou’s voice cut through the temporal chaos, sohow clear despite reality breaking down around them. "Good. Because I was getting bored fighting you at half-strength."

His aura, which had already been oppressive, suddenly intensified to a level that made the previous display look like a warmup.

"DRAGON’S HEART—FULL ACTIVATION!"

The draconic power core that Satou had absorbed from the Nightmare Dragon activated at maximum output, flooding his entire system with pure draconic energy. Not the trickle he’d been using before. Not the steady flow that enhanced his normal combat. The full torrent, the complete power of a legendary dragon channeled through a dragoblin’s body.

His already formidable physical capabilities doubled. Then tripled. His strength, speed, reflexes, endurance—all enhanced to levels that pushed the boundaries of what non-demon-lord entities could achieve.

"TRUE FLIGHT!"

Satou lifted off the ground, perfect aerial mobility letting him move in three dinsions rather than being limited to the floor. He didn’t just hover—he flew, moving through the air with the sa ease most people walked, attacking from vertical angles Richard’s ground-based foresight wasn’t fully optimized for.

"DRAGONFIRE MANIPULATION—BLACK FLA GENERATION!"

Cold fire erupted from Satou’s hands—not normal fla but sothing far stranger and more dangerous. Black fire that burned cold instead of hot, that consud light instead of generating it, that ate heat and energy rather than producing them.

The flas spread across the library, not burning books but consuming the ambient heat, creating zones of absolute cold that made frost form instantly on any surface the black fire touched.

"DRAGON’S ROAR!"

Satou opened his mouth and unleashed a sonic attack that carried the full weight and authority of true dragons, the apex predators of the monster world, the beings that had ruled the realm before demon lords rose to power.

"ROOOOAAAAARRRR!"

The sound was devastating. Not just loud but fundantally overwhelming, operating on frequencies that bypassed normal hearing and resonated directly with the inner ear, with bone structure, with the fluid in the brain.

The sonic attack punched through Richard’s temporal storm like it wasn’t even there, disrupting the delicate balance of temporal energies that maintained the reality-breaking effect. The ti distortion flickered, wavered, weakened significantly.

Windows throughout the entire monastery exploded simultaneously. Stone walls developed cracks. The floor shook like an earthquake had struck. Several of Richard’s temporal echoes simply dissipated, unable to maintain cohesion through the sonic disruption.

The sound carried across the entire city. Citizens miles away stopped what they were doing, felt primal fear activate, heard the roar and knew on an instinctive level that sothing ancient and terrible and imnsely powerful was fighting nearby.

Guards grabbed weapons with trembling hands. Mothers pulled children inside and locked doors. Animals fled in panic. Even other monsters in the city—beings with their own supernatural power—felt the roar and recognized it as a challenge from sothing higher on the food chain.

Dogs howled. Horses scread and broke their reins. Cats hissed and climbed to the highest places they could find.

The entire city knew, on so deep level, that tonight sothing extraordinary and terrifying was happening.

But in the library, Satou wasn’t done. He was just getting started.

He activated abilities in rapid succession, combinations he’d been developing, synergies he’d been practicing, techniques that worked together to create effects greater than the sum of their parts.

"SHADOW ABSOLUTE—NIGHTMARE DOMAIN MANIFESTATION!"

The library didn’t just get dark. It transford. Reality bent and reshaped itself according to Satou’s will, the physical space warping into sothing that existed halfway between the real world and the nightmare realm.

The shadows weren’t just shadows anymore—they were living extensions of Satou’s consciousness, semi-sentient entities that existed to hunt Richard, that moved with predatory intelligence and malevolent purpose.

Gravity beca optional, varying by location according to Satou’s whim. So areas had normal gravity. Others had gravity reversed, pulling upward. So had crushing gravity that made movent difficult. So had zero gravity that left opponents floating helplessly.

Distance beca subjective—ten feet in one direction might be equivalent to three feet in another, or thirty feet, or a hundred. Space folded in ways that made Euclidean geotry weep.

The walls developed eyes. The floor developed mouths. The ceiling developed teeth. Not real in the traditional sense, but real enough to bite, real enough to see, real enough to induce terror.

Richard’s temporal storm tried to fight back, tried to impose its own order on reality. Ti manipulation versus nightmare logic, causality versus dream physics, two fundantal forces clashing for dominance over the space.
