HALLOOO!!!

Now, many of you might be thinking... WHAT THE HELL? ANOTHER CHAPTER??? Sothing is fishy.

And yes... sothing is indeed fishy.

It's because I won't be able to upload tomorrow. Why??? That's where the second reason cos in.

.

.

.

.

I might have created another fanfic.... AND NO... before anyone says.... I will still maintain the daily chapters of this fanfic; I am only taking tomorrow off to set up the new fanfic.

Anyway this is the na:

Harry Potter: Cleaver

Image in the comnt.

And yes, I know I drop stuff after a while.... but trust , just like MHA fanfic... I will end this. The reason I dropped the JJK fanfic is that I really did not like the end part of the manga. Which killed my motivation to write it. But it will not happen with this. So trust and give it a go.

Now enjoy the chapter, I have ranted off quite a bit lol.

********

A smaller chapter... as i need to build this up properly.

Silence.....

Silence was all that was left in the courtroom.

Every eye in the room was looking on the woman standing in the shattered doorway, while Justice Moriyama stared at her from the bench.

His gavel was still raised, and his mouth was still open from the sentence he hadn't finished. Then out of nowhere... the dignified composure that had defined his presence throughout the entire trial simply vanished.

"HOW MANY TIS HAVE I TOLD YOU, BRAT, NOT TO KICK THE DAMNED DOOR?!?!?!?! DO YOU KNOW HOW EXPENSIVE THAT SHIT IS?????"

His voice echoed through the courtroom with a volu that nobody in the building had ever heard from Justice Takeshi Moriyama.

The courtroom... for the second ti went dead silent.

All three hundred people watching the most senior judge in the Supre Court scream at the Number Five Hero were shocked.

Mirko threw her head back and laughed.

"BHAHAHAHAHA!!! OLD MAN, I'VE TOLD YOU NOT TO YELL SO MUCH!!! YOU'LL DIE EARLIER!!!"

"I'LL DIE BECAUSE OF YOU!! LOOK AT MY DOORS!! THOSE WERE ORIGINAL OAK!! FROM THE IJI ERA!!"

"THEY WERE UGLY ANYWAY!! AND THE GOVERNNT WILL BE PAYING FOR THAT!"

"I LIKED IT THE WAY IT LOOKED!!"

"YOUR TASTE IS TERRIBLE!!"

The courtroom watched this exchange and had no clue what was going on.

Nobody understood what was happening.

Nobody except Madam President. Whose face had gone dead the mont Mirko appeared in the doorway. She sat in the back of the prosecution's section with an expression that could have been carved from granite — no emotion, no reaction, no movent. Just the blank, hollow stare of a woman who had just watched her carefully constructed legal strategy get drop-kicked through the doors of her own courthouse.

She knew.

She had always known about the connection between them.

It was in the intelligence reports that she reviewed every quarter. But she had never considered it relevant, because Mirko had never involved herself in political matters, had never shown interest in legal proceedings, and ad never once indicated that she would use her personal connections for anything other than getting out of parking tickets.

Until now.

At the prosecution's table, Kuroda stood up.

"Your Honour," he said, his voice cutting through the chaos, "with all due respect, I must object. Hero Mirko, while a distinguished mber of the hero community, has no standing in this proceeding. She was not called as a witness by either party. She was not submitted as evidence. She has no legal right to simply walk into an active trial an-"

The judge turned to Kuroda.

"Oi," Justice Moriyama said. "Don't talk to my daughter like that."

The courtroom went shock for the third ti.....

Daughter?

In the gallery, the whispers started imdiately. Quiet at first, then louder, spreading through the rows like fire through dry grass. The press section erupted — phones out, ssages sent, editors alerted. This was news. This was massive news. The Number Five Hero was the daughter of the presiding judge in the most-watched trial in the country.

In the defence's section, Momo's mouth dropped open.

She turned to her mother. "What is going on?"

Reika looked equally confused, her hands still clasped in her lap, her eyes wide.

But then her father spoke.

"Mirko," he said, his voice carrying the sa asured quality it always did, "or rather, Rumi Usagiyama, is his daughter."

Momo looked even more lost.

"But they don't look alike at all."

"That's because she was adopted by him."

"Oh."

The single line answered almost all the questions in her mind.

"Then how co not everyone knows about it?"

Kiyomasa's expression got a little annoyed.

"Well... because Mirko is famous for so... other things. Things that tend to overshadow her personal life in the dia."

Momo knew exactly what her father was referring to. She got a flashback of a news she read a year ago.

A story about a molester who had been apprehended by Mirko during what was supposed to be a routine patrol. The man had been found by police officers twenty minutes later, conscious but unable to move, with seventeen broken bones.

Yup seventeen. The police report had noted that Mirko had used "reasonable force," which was technically true if your definition of "reasonable" included compound fractures in both arms, both legs, seven ribs, a collarbone, and a pelvis.

anwhile, Madam President sat in her chair and felt the ground shift beneath her. The sensation of a chess piece appearing on the board that she hadn't accounted for, in a position that threatened everything she had built.

The judge's adopted daughter. The Number Five Hero. Standing in his courtroom, he is most likely here to help Akira for so reason.

While the gallery and the dia continued to process this revelation, "BREAKING: JAPAN'S NUMBER FIVE HERO IS THE ADOPTED DAUGHTER OF SUPRE COURT JUSTICE MORIYAMA" was already trending.

Between this, Mirko walked to the front of the courtroom.

She passed the prosecution's table. Kuroda watched her warily.

She passed the defence table. Nezu sat in his chair... she truned to him and gave him a small nod.

To which he nodded back.

Mirko stopped in front of the podium. Where she stood beside Akira.

Justice Moriyama, who had been standing behind his bench with the expression of a father who had given up on controlling his child approximately fifteen years ago, slowly sat back down.

He finally sighed and sat down.

"Okay..... Enough gas, Rumi. What are you doing here? This is an important hearing."

Mirko's grin didn't fade. If anything, it widened.

"Well," she said, her voice projecting to every corner of the courtroom without the slightest effort, "I'm here to take responsibility."

"WHAT?!"

The word erupted from multiple points simultaneously. The gallery. The prosecution's table. The press section. Even the judge, whose composure had just been reassembled, let slip a noise of surprise that his training should have prevented.

Kuroda was on his feet. "Your Honou-"

"SIT DOWN, Counsellor," Justice Moriyama said, his voice carrying an authority that brokered no argunt. Kuroda sat. But his mind was already racing.

Responsibility. The word detonated in his legal brain like a bomb in a library. He could see the angles. He could see the implications. He could see the entire architecture of his case — the unauthorised quirk usage, the vigilante action, the unsanctioned combat — teetering on a single pivot point.

Because if Mirko — a licensed pro hero, Japan's Number Five, a woman with the legal authority to authorise field operations, to supervise combat engagents, to deploy quirk users under her direct command — was claiming that Akira had been operating under her supervision, then the foundation of every charge the prosecution had brought was suddenly, catastrophically, in question.

Unauthorised quirk deploynt? Not unauthorised if a licensed hero sanctioned it. Unsanctioned combat? Not unsanctioned if it was part of a field operation. Operating without a license? Not a violation if the operator was working under the license of a supervising hero.

Every. Single. Charge.

The judge looked at his daughter with eyes that had shifted from parental exasperation to judicial scrutiny. "Explain."

Mirko reached into her blazer and pulled out a folder.

She held it up.

"Akira Shuzenji..... was operating under my supervision."

"He was working under ," Mirko continued. "The engagent with Muscular was part of an unofficial field operation that I authorised as a licensed pro hero. The details, the docuntation, and the chain of authorisation are in this folder."

She set the folder on the podium.

"Every charge the prosecution has brought — unauthorised quirk deploynt, unsanctioned combat, operating without a license in a combat zone — is nullified if the defendant was acting under the direct supervision of a licensed hero. Which he was. Under ."

The courtroom remained frozen.

Justice Moriyama looked at his daughter. The judicial scrutiny in his eyes deepened. This was no longer a family matter. This was a legal claim that, if substantiated, would fundantally alter the trajectory of the most important trial he had ever presided over.

His face went cold.

"Mirko," he said, and the use of her hero na instead of her given na told everyone in the room that the judge was now operating in full professional capacity. "Choose your next words very carefully."
