BONUS CHAPTER: 500PS
----
This might be a little short, but that's because this is a build up chapter.
Hope you enjoy it
The night had fallen over Musutafu, the city where U.A. High School stood like a beacon of hope for aspiring heroes, and a hunting ground for delusional villains. But like any major city, Musutafu had two faces. The bright, bustling streets filled with honest citizens going about their evening routines, and the darker corners where the villains lurked.
In one of those shadowy corners, three masked figures stood closely against a brick wall. They watched the busy street waiting for soone.
The first figure was tall and lean, and the other two were considerably shorter. Unlike the tall guy, the shorter guys were looking around nervously.
The busy street was like every day. Salaryn heading ho from work, couples out for dinner, students returning from late study sessions. Normal people living normal lives, completely unaware of the eyes watching them from the darkness.
One of the shorter masked n broke the tense silence, his voice carrying an edge of anxiety.
"We have to get soone by today," he said urgently, keeping his voice low. "Or the boss will be furious. Like, really, really fucking mad."
The other short man shifted uncomfortably, clearly hesitant about sothing. After a mont of internal debate, he spoke up.
"Hey, Yuta?"
The tall figure, Yuta, turned his head slightly. "What?"
The short man's voice beca even more hesitant, almost trembling. "I think... I think we should quit this. We don't want to be caught by the Blade Guy."
The re ntion of that na seed to carry weight. Even Yuta tensed slightly before responding.
However, Yuta just laughed it off.
"Chill, man. What's he gonna do? Cut us up and hand us to the police?"
The short guy nodded.
Yuta laughed again and continued. "Then what? We'll be out in days. The system doesn't care about small-tirs like us. Plus, with the boss's help, nothing can happen to us."
He gestured broadly at the street.
"So chill, Rin. Once we're done with this job, we'll be rich. The boss pays well for quality goods."
Rin nodded, but his body language suggested he was still unconvinced. His hands kept fidgeting, and his eyes darted around nervously, as if expecting soone to jump out of the shadows at any mont.
The third mber of their group, the other short masked man, suddenly perked up. His attention had been caught by sothing on the street.
"Hey, hey! Look at that hoodie guy!" he whispered excitedly, pointing.
All three turned their attention to where he was pointing.
Walking down the relatively empty side street was a figure that stood out as unusual, even in a world of quirks and heroes. The person wore a black hoodie, but what made them truly bizarre was what covered the hoodie itself. Pale, severed hands. They were positioned all over the person's body, arms, and shoulders, like so kind of weird decoration. One hand even covered the person's face like a mask.
Beneath the hood, they could see unnaturally light blue hair — almost white — that seed to glow slightly in the dim street light.
"He looks like a holess guy with a weird fetish, no?" one of them comnted, already sizing up the target.
The figure walked weirdly. He hunched over slightly, muttering sothing to himself that the masked trio couldn't hear. Everything about this person scread "easy target" — alone, distracted, and clearly weird enough that no one would miss him.
Yuta's eyes lit up behind his mask. "Perfect. Co on."
The three masked n slipped out of their hiding spot and began following the strange hooded figure. They kept a careful distance, waiting for the perfect mont. Their target seed completely oblivious to being followed, continuing to walk and mutter to himself.
5 minutes later, the hooded figure turned down a narrow alley, exactly what they had been waiting for.
"Now." Yuta whispered.
The three of them rushed forward, quickly positioning themselves to surround the person. The alley had only one exit, and they were blocking it.
Yuta stepped forward, cracking his knuckles.
"Watch and learn, boys," he said to his companions, then addressed the hooded figure. "Co with us, dude. We don't want to make this painful, but we will if we have to."
The hooded figure just stared at him. At least, Yuta assud he was staring, as it was hard to tell with that hand covering his face.
The silence stretched on for several uncomfortable seconds.
"Hey, did you hear ?"
Still nothing. Just that unnerving stare from behind the hand-mask.
"Alright, you asked for it!"
Yuta lunged forward, his hand reaching out to grab the hooded figure's shoulder.
The hooded figure moved.
It wasn't a dodge, exactly. More like a casual sidestep. Yuta stumbled forward, and the hand guy held his arm.
"What are you tr-"
For a heartbeat, nothing happened.
Then Yuta's arm began to crumble.
"Aaaahhhh!!!!!!!!!!!"
There was no blood and gore; it was worse. His arm literally disintegrated, turning to dust and ash from the point of contact outward. The destruction spread rapidly, consuming his forearm, then his elbow, then his shoulder, accompanied by Yuta's screams of pure terror.
Within seconds, Yuta was completely gone. Reduced to nothing but a pile of ash and dust on the alley floor.
Rin and his friend stood frozen in absolute horror, their minds struggling to process what they'd just witnessed.
"RUN!"
They both turned to flee back the way they'd co.
But the exit was no longer empty.
A swirling mass of black and purple mist appeared, blocking their path. Before either man could change direction, the dark cloud surged forward and swallowed them whole.
Their screams echoed briefly before being muffled by the strange mist.
Then silence.
The hooded figure reached up with one hand and scratched at his neck absently, leaving red marks on his pale skin.
A new figure erged from the shadows of the alley, stepping into the dim light. This person was tall, wearing what looked like a formal suit despite the late hour. But the most striking feature was its head. Instead of a normal human head, there was a shifting mass of black mist.
"Kurogiri," the hooded guy said, his voice filled with irritation. "Take them to the facility. The more test subjects we have, the better for the Nomu production."
Kurogiri bowed.
"Understood, Shigaraki," Kurogiri replied.
The purple-black mist that had swallowed the two criminals began to dissipate, presumably having already transported them elsewhere.
Then he looked back at the hooded guy and asked. "You are going to do it tomorrow?"
Shigaraki nodded, continuing to scratch at his neck. "Yeah. All Might being at U.A. is public knowledge now. Tomorrow, that place will be sward by dia trying to get interviews and photos. It'll provide perfect cover for my trip."
"While everyone's distracted by caras and reporters, I will leave a little gift for them."
Kurogiri was silent for a mont, processing this plan.
"I will still be nearby, just in case sothing goes wrong."
Shigaraki's head snapped toward Kurogiri.
"Do what you want. Just don't get in my way. I don't need a babysitter."
The tension between them hung in the air for a mont, not quite hostile, but definitely strained. The relationship between them seed complex, with Kurogiri showing sothing like concern or loyalty, while Shigaraki bristled at any implication that he needed help or protection.
Finally, Shigaraki turned and began walking away from the alley.
"Sensei's plan will work," Shigaraki muttered, more to himself than to Kurogiri. "All Might will finally see that his age of peace is just an illusion. When we destroy that symbol, and everything will crumble."
Kurogiri watched Shigaraki's retreating form for a long mont. Then, without another word, his entire body dissolved into that sa purple-black mist and vanished into the shadows of the alley, leaving no trace that either of them had ever been there.
The alley fell silent once more.
Only a small pile of ash and dust remained where Yuta had stood monts before.
The city continued its evening rhythm, completely unaware that sowhere in its shadows, a plan was being set in motion. A plan that would challenge the very foundations of Hero Society soday.
A plan targeting the Symbol of Peace himself.
