My Hidden Heresy Skill Forged an SSS-Ranked Harem for Infinite Points Chapter 194: Collecting an Erotic Debt from the Demon Queen?
Following the demon queen’s order, the atmosphere grew noticeably denser. The overwhelming amount of crimson mana that Ophelia released from her body filled every single corner of the basent.
Even Ryan could feel that the pressure bearing down on his body marked an enormous difference between his own power in comparison to that of the demon queen. The gravity in the room seed to have increased all at once, pushing the soles of his dark boots heavily against the stone floor.
’And I am completely sure that this isn’t even half of her true power...’ Ryan thought, observing the demon queen out of the corner of his eye.
The demons in front of her began to beg for rcy, their lives now entirely in the hands of the demon queen. Pure terror was reflected in the eyes of the two entities that were chained to the wall at the back.
Abyssal rank demons, supposedly the strongest hierarchy among demons, surpassed only by a demon king, were now pathetically begging for their lives.
They were walking catastrophes possessing almost unlimited mana reserves. And yet, down here, they were nothing more than a pair of pathetic prisoners about to be executed like simple insects.
The stat gap between an Abyssal and a Demon King was an impossible wall to cross.
"We will tell you, we will tell you everything, just wait a mont please."
"Lady Ophelia!"
With a look of sheer annoyance, icy and totally expressionless, she pronounced only a single word in response to the pleas of those demons.
There was absolutely no rcy on her face, nor the slightest interest in listening to the information they were willing to sell to save their own lives.
"Silence." The demon queen pronounced, and instantly a loud sound resonated.
Snap.
A sharp snap ca from her fingers. And a translucent cube covered the Abyssals, and in an instant, it disappeared.
The magical barrier flickered around the area of the shackles, completely encompassing the two prisoners against the wall.
They continued screaming, begging.
Their mouths opened wide, the veins in their necks bulging from the evident effort of screaming at the top of their lungs so she would hear them.
Or at least that was how it appeared, but they were not emitting a single sound.
"What did you do to them?" Ryan asked out of curiosity upon seeing that no matter how much they appeared to scream, he couldn’t hear anything; in fact, he couldn’t even hear the sound of the chains anymore.
The constant clashing of the thick tallic links against the stone had been completely silenced in a fraction of a second.
"I simply forbade them from speaking." Ophelia responded.
She lowered her hand, keeping her gaze fixed on the two prisoners.
"In fact, I eliminated the sound all around them." She added with total tranquility, as if it were a common occurrence, a very basic skill. Even though it really wasn’t.
’Was sothing like that really possible?’ Ryan thought as he watched the sheer despair that those demons were transmitting.
Blocking sound waves in a specific area required an extrely precise control of mana, not just raw brute force. Ophelia was using the void of sound as an active torture tool.
"It is best if we finish this, there is no point in interrogating them; I already knew what they were planning." Ophelia said with a slight movent of the hand she was pointing in their direction.
’Being here is a great opportunity to verify the power of a demon king for myself. How interesting this is...’ Ryan thought while a cynical smile ford on his face.
Having a front-row seat to closely observe the destructive capacity of a demon king was highly useful information, which would serve to calculate the scope of power that the other existing demon kings might possess.
Then, what Ryan saw next was how a sort of shadow enveloped the bodies of the demons. The darkness began to sprout directly from the floor and the walls, completely swallowing the two Abyssals.
Then that darkness expanded like a perfect cube that enclosed the entire space where they were tied up.
Ryan felt his skin heating up, and he began to sweat. The entire room had suddenly raised its temperature to an extre level. The air beca suffocating and imnsely heavy.
Ophelia sighed.
"We are done." She comnted with a smile, looking at Ryan’s sweaty face.
The cube of darkness in front of him began to dissipate rapidly, and there was absolutely nothing left inside, neither the demons nor the chains, and soon after, the sound returned.
The entire back wall was completely clean. And there wasn’t a single trace of fabric, blood, or bones left in the spot where those two demons were supposed to be tied.
As the cube of darkness continued disintegrating into the air, it emitted a particular sound. One that was very familiar to him.
The familiar crackling of sothing burning at extre temperatures.
"Is that fire?" Ryan murmured to himself, analyzing the nature of the darkness attack that had incinerated the bodies so rapidly that there was no ti for smoke to even form.
Ding!
[A new skill for the Templar class has been unlocked.]
"You could say that, yes." Ophelia responded to his doubt.
’Did the system react to Ophelia’s power?’ Ryan thought, seeing the glowing system ssage floating in his visual interface.
He stared at the blue screen for a second, assimilating the anomaly.
By being exposed to such a massive amount of demonic mana at such a close range, in the face of the danger the system had probably deduced, it released his final Templar class skill.
He wiped the sweat from his face with the sleeve of his trench coat, tearing his gaze away from the empty wall.
"Just as I thought, you didn’t need my enhancent buffs for anything at all." Ryan told her in his usual tone, lowering his hand.
She stepped a little closer to him, invading his space once again.
"Huh? Of course I did, they were Abyssal-level. They aren’t going to die from a single strike. But more importantly..." She said, shifting her gaze down toward her own clothes.
The demon queen defended her decision with total naturalness, excusing her need to use the human’s support.
"What thing?" He asked with curiosity, not understanding the woman’s sudden change in attitude.
"I didn’t want to cover this beautiful dress in blood." Ophelia responded with her already usual mischievous smile.
But before Ryan could say anything in response, a system window abruptly activated right in front of him.
