Now that they were finished with the floor boss, Ryan crouched down, looking at the item the boss had dropped.

"Analysis."

[Rare Battle Gauntlets: Strength 50 | Stamina 30 | Psyche 30]

Description: Absorbs enemy damage when the fire attribute is activated.

Ryan picked up the gauntlets; they were actually a pair of gloves that reached all the way up to the forearm. The upper section over the knuckles was made of tal. Both gauntlets had what looked like a magic stone embedded in them.

’I was hoping for a super sword, but I can’t complain. With the Wolf Hunter title and these gauntlets, I’ll be much stronger now.’

Upon putting on the gauntlets, a new window updated.

[Item skill acquired]

[Fire Wall]

Creates a shield that protects the designated target and deals damage to anyone who touches it.

[Fire Aura]

Increases damage by 10%.

"This is very interesting. Can I really keep them?"

"Of course. I’m an archer, and Helen is a sword user."

Helen and Mirian looked at each other and nodded, both in agreent.

"But I’m supposed to be a support."

"And you say that now, after beating the boss to death."

"Haha. Alright, I’ll keep them."

’I want to test that.’

"Fire Aura..."

Almost imdiately, the gauntlets burst into flas. The fire ca from the magic stone. Ryan shook his hands in surprise as he felt the heat in his fists.

He shook his hands instinctively, taking a step back. Then he stood still.

"What’s wrong? Are they hurting you?" Helen asked.

"Wait." He looked at them more closely. "I’m not burning. False alarm," he said.

"Fool, don’t scare us like that," Helen grumbled.

"Heh, heh. You’re hopeless."

Then he deactivated the Fire Aura.

And he began to look at his statistics. As a support, he could choose between two subclasses.

’I was excited about the gauntlets, but now... I should change classes.’

[Select class change.]

[Healer - Priest]

He crossed his arms for a mont and began to analyze the characteristics of each one. The Healer specializes solely in healing; it’s the most common choice, since a support doesn’t need to fight.

Although the Priest doesn’t have an extra healing skill, it focuses more on the strength of the party: debuffs on enemies, and buffs that enhance himself by increasing mana, Psyche, and stamina.

’If I want to keep fighting, the Priest suits much better, even if I’ll have to stick with the basic support healing skill.’

Ryan selected the Priest class. His body suddenly lit up.

[Congratulations, you are now a Priest.]

Unique Skills Acquired:

Magic Barrier: Increases the target’s magic power.

Intelligence Blow: Increases the target’s mana by 40%.

ntal Blow: Grants immunity to curses and disorientation.

Reveal Hidden: Allows the user to see targets with stealth skills.

Almighty: Increases all of the target’s stats by 20%.

’With this and the support skills, I won’t have any trouble with the party. After all, we made it here without even having a class.’

"Alright, let’s go."

Once they entered the 49th floor, Ryan activated his Fire Aura and began to fight. He was capable of killing monsters with his fists, though he wasn’t that fast, and Helen and Mirian finished off almost all of them.

"Do you want us to leave more for you?" Mirian asked.

"It’s not necessary. I just want us to reach the first floor quickly. Besides, we already accomplished one objective, didn’t we?"

"Yeah. Well... I guess so. It’s not like a pair of gauntlets is exactly the right fit for a Healer."

"Tsk. Don’t complain. We’re already strong enough, Mirian. Whether Ryan uses a staff or not, it won’t be a problem."

"Heh, heh. Well, you’re right."

’These two... I wonder if they’re actually thinking about getting rid of now.’

Ryan accumulated plenty of experience and reached level 70 by the ti they made it down to the first floor. Although he didn’t distribute his points there, they were more distracted now that they had realized sothing very important.

"If this dungeon is in the sky, how the hell are we supposed to get down!" Helen shouted.

"Well, we have to jump. There’s no other way."

"Jump? Stop joking around, please, Mirian," Ryan interjected.

"But it’s not a joke... We’re S-rank heroes. We won’t die from this height. I think."

"What do you an ’I think’! No. Absolutely not, we are not doing that."

"Now, now. Don’t worry." Mirian wrapped her arms around both of them as they looked out from the edge of the dungeon portal and pushed them, leaping along with them.

"What the...!"

The three of them exited the portal and began to plumt.

"¡Kyaaaaaaaaaaaa!"

They were falling, slowed down by the air resistance.

"Kyaaaaaa! You damn psycho! Why did you do that?" Helen was quite furious as she scread—a mix of anger and fear.

"And why the hell are you smiling!" Ryan yelled at Mirian.

"I can barely hear you!"

After a few monts of free fall, land, trees, and what looked like a lake finally ca into view.

"Shit! Almighty, Enhancent!"

Everyone’s attributes increased. Mirian, who was falling calmly, summoned her bow and pulled a rope from the pouch at her waist; wrapping it around Helen and Ryan, she tied them to her body so they were all bound together.

Then she shot an arrow tied to the other end of the rope and embedded it into a tree. As they descended, the rope caught under tension, pulling them back and flinging them into the lake.

"Ha, ha, ha! That was fun," Mirian began to laugh.

Helen smacked her on the head.

"Idiot. Don’t you ever do sothing like that again."

Everyone climbed out of the water. They were all soaking wet. Helen and Mirian stripped down to their underwear and set their clothes out to dry.

"Ryan hasn’t said anything? Is he mad?"

"How could he not be mad! Idiot, we almost died!"

"And what idea did you have for leaving the dungeon? This was all I could do."

"Enough!" Ryan intervened angrily. "Since I used enhancent on you and there’s no more danger, you know what’s going to happen, don’t you?"

"..."

Mirian’s expression changed from a smile to feeling guilty and scolded.

"But I didn’t do anything, I’m angry too," Helen grumbled.

"Yes, I know. That’s why there will be a punishnt for Mirian."

"What? That’s not fair. I just wanted us to get out of the dungeon."

"Helen, I order you to give Mirian ten spankings! And you, suicidal archer, I order you to let her spank you!"

"Ha, ha, ha," Helen laughed and approached Mirian with a mischievous smile.

Mirian blushed, drawing back.

"I... I can’t... I can’t move my body..."
