Nine had already begun observing everything in the room that could be used as a weapon.

Caras? No need to worry. He could deal with them later, or he could simply abandon this body altogether and turn the scene into two n fighting before dying together.

If Joshua asked, he would just say Henry was the one who attacked him first.

Truly perfect!

Henry saw the calculating look on Nine’s face and suddenly said, "That day, after I kicked you, I felt pain too."

Hearing that, Nine couldn’t help pausing for a mont, but he quickly burst out laughing. "Don’t joke around. What world do you think you’re living in? This place respects science."

With that, he stood up and walked toward the glass cabinet, picking up a bottle of liquor.

He didn’t even bother to hide what he was doing, pale red eyes flickering, eager to try.

By now, Henry had also stood up.

He didn’t want to fight here, but he needed to confirm whether Nine’s injuries truly affected him or not.

If Nine really affected him, he absolutely wouldn’t allow soone like that to roam free outside.

Henry had never liked anything beyond his control.

"Crash!"

A sharp sound rang out. Liquor splashed across the floor, and the glass bottle in Nine’s hand beca jagged and deadly.

Nine tilted his head, smiling. "Not planning to run? You’ll die."

He said lightly, then lunged straight forward, his small fra moving with astonishing speed.

But what surprised Nine was that Henry truly didn’t run. He just stood there, as if waiting for Nine to approach.

In that mont, countless guesses flashed through Nine’s mind.

Why was he standing still? What was he plotting? Was there a live broadcast going on right now, with Joshua watching?

Nine even swept his gaze around to confirm there was no live broadcast at all, yet his speed didn’t slow down.

At the sa ti, Henry moved as well. He dodged the direct attack, then reached out and caught the jagged remains of the bottle full of sharp edges.

The sound of flesh being pierced echoed—wet and painful.

Henry couldn’t help but frown. Nine’s eyes widened in shock as he stared at Henry.

Fresh blood stread down Henry’s hand, soaking the floor and his fingers.

At the exact mont, Nine lifted his other hand. It was riddled with holes, blood continuously pouring out, sending waves of numb, stabbing pain through him.

Suddenly, a powerful kick to his chest sent Nine’s small body flying backward, crashing hard onto the floor.

Henry frowned again at the pain shooting through his own body, but he didn’t retreat.

He looked at Nine, who still appeared dazed as if he didn’t understand what had just happened, and said coldly, "Now you believe it, right? I think we should talk about this peacefully."

But Nine only felt sheer absurdity. How could this even be possible? He was getting injured—just because he attacked a human? Unbelievable.

Henry... what exactly was Henry supposed to be?!

As much as Nine didn’t want to accept it, he couldn’t deny the truth. There was definitely so strange connection between them. On top of that, Joshua had ntioned plenty of odd things about Henry...

Henry was far from ordinary, and now he might even be connected to Nine.

Nine stood up straight despite the blood pouring from his hand, while Henry simply remained where he was, not seeming particularly bothered by his own wound.

And then Nine suddenly curved his lips into a smile. "I really don’t want to accept this truth, or maybe there’s sothing even deeper behind it, but if we’re getting injured at the sa ti, then either soone has cursed both of us..."

That was obviously impossible—Nine wasn’t even human.

He paused for a mont, narrowed his eyes at Henry, and slowly finished his last words: "Or our souls are one."

At this mont, at Luther’s ho.

Luther had finally managed to bring Joshua back to his place, although in a rather unconventional way.

Just monts ago, he had even started regretting it right at his front door, because he hadn’t cleaned up at all. Hopefully there weren’t any socks lying on the sofa...

Luther silently prayed, then finally begged Joshua to wait outside for a mont while he shot into the room like a streak of lightning.

Joshua watched the door slam shut in front of him and couldn’t help finding it amusing. He knocked lightly and said, "Isn’t it a little late to start cleaning now, Luther?"

"Just wait a mont!"

Luther’s voice ca from inside, frantic and flustered.

Joshua laughed and didn’t open the door to go in.

Luther cleaned at the fastest speed possible. Thank goodness—this still counted as tidy, right? At least in Luther’s eyes, it was neat enough.

Joshua was pulled into the house by the hand. The room overall had a warm tone, filled with small decorations.

It was a bit ssy, but not unbearably so.

Luther dragged Joshua directly into his own room. Acting as if everything were natural, he cleared his throat lightly and said, "Sit wherever you like, I won’t take long." Then he rushed into the bathroom with his clothes, his ears visibly reddening.

Surprisingly, Luther actually knew how to be embarrassed.

Joshua couldn’t help but smile at the thought.

Eventually, they arrived back at the dormitory. As soon as they stepped inside, they saw Henry sitting on the living room sofa, eyes lowered to his hand, gaze deep and unreadable.

Hearing the sound of their arrival, he lifted his head, his eyes sharp as they landed on Joshua, then paused briefly on Luther—who was sticking closely to Joshua—before he silently frowned.

At that mont, Joshua pushed Luther’s face away and walked forward with a bright smile. "Leader, how was your break? I really missed you."

As he spoke, he sat down beside Henry, tilting his head and blinking.

Henry gently bumped his hand against Joshua’s, casually ruffling his hair. "Everyone’s here. Rest for now. Tonight, we have a live broadcast to interact with the fans."

As he spoke, his hand left Joshua’s hair and instead cupped Joshua’s face, gently massaging it.

In Henry’s hands, Joshua was like a soft, obedient lump of dough, offering no resistance or wariness at all.

Luther silently ground his teeth on the side, but the spot Henry was sitting in could only fit two people.

It was okay, totally fine. Just normal bro behavior. And besides, whenever he pinched Joshua’s cheek, Joshua never dodged either. Henry wasn’t special!

anwhile, Henry’s thoughts had drifted far away. He recalled what Nine had told him.

Joshua didn’t co from this world. And perhaps... Henry didn’t co from this world either.
