"I bet Troy is fuming by now," Godwin comnted calmly after hearing the report of his son, Wayne.
As soon as Wayne returned from his long journey, he imdiately went to look for his father to give his report.
"Did you manage to enter the fortress of the Aslan Tribe?" Godwin asked.
"Yes, Father," Wayne replied. "They have created a small town inside the mountain. I have also seen the location of the iron ore deposit. Leone isn’t lying. They really do have high-grade iron ore deposits in Grimjaw Mountain."
Godwin chuckled. "That will give Troy another reason to completely annihilate the Aslan Tribe. Well, son. Now that you’ve seen him, what is your impression of the Chieftain of the Aslan Tribe? Your little brother seems to admire him very much."
"I... I don’t know, Father," Wayne replied honestly. "When he dared to defy Cain and the Darkmane Tribe, I thought he was a lunatic. Though, after seeing the way he carried himself, I could understand why Vlad likes him very much. I’ll be honest with you, Father. Even I think Leone Frontera is soone worthy of admiration."
"Since even you say that, this young man is no ordinary person." Godwin smiled faintly. He then glanced at Ragnar and Tianna, who were quietly listening to their conversation. "Tianna, have you seen anything about the Aslan Tribe in your vision?"
"I did, Father," Tianna replied. "A Dark Lion and a Golden Lion will clash against each other. Though the Dark Lion is bigger than the golden one and is more threatening, the Golden Lion will not back down."
"And the outco?" Godwin asked patiently.
"I couldn’t see the outco of their battle," Tianna answered. "No matter how hard I try, the result is unknown."
Tianna wasn’t lying. She truly couldn’t see the outco of the battle. However, one thing was certain. Even if the Golden Lion didn’t win, it would still be able to escape with its life.
Sothing that she planned to keep a secret for the ti being.
"Then, should we interfere or not?" Godwin inquired. "Grimjaw Mountain has high-grade iron ore deposits, after all. If we make the Aslan Tribe indebted to us, then we can certainly gain so benefits out of it. Also, I think I’ve taken a liking to that golden lion. He might be young, but he doesn’t lack courage. He reminds of when I was his age."
Tianna smiled faintly because her father was also a brave and courageous person. This was the reason why the Warclaw Tribe was considered the number one tribe in the Borderlands.
"I think we should just watch from the side, Father," Tianna stated. "I believe we will gain more benefits if we just beco observers this ti around."
"Will we really gain more benefits by simply observing?"
"Yes, Father. That’s what I believe."
Godwin pondered for a while. His daughter was an Oracle of the Earth Goddess, Cybelle.
If she said they would gain more by being spectators, then he was inclined to believe her words.
"Very well." Godwin nodded. "Ragnar, prepare to leave for Grimjaw Mountain by tomorrow. Your mission is to watch over your brother and pay more attention to the Aslan Tribe.
If the Darkmane Tribe marches their army, you are to take him and leave Grimjaw Mountain. You will act as an observer and watch until this conflict reaches a conclusion."
"Yes, Father!" Ragnar replied.
"Father, can you delay Brother’s departure by two days?" Wayne asked.
"Why?" Godwin asked.
"Because I also want to head to Grimjaw Mountain. However, I want to rest for a day or two before traveling back there."
"Hoh... looks like you have really taken a liking to the Chieftain of the Aslan Tribe."
"Maybe," Wayne admitted. "But I also believe I can learn sothing by staying by his side for a little while longer instead of staying here to manage our tribe."
Godwin pondered for a bit before giving him permission. "Very well. Ragnar, you will leave after two days. Make your preparations by then."
"Yes, Father." Ragnar bowed respectfully.
Now that both of his brothers had taken a liking to the Chieftain of the Aslan Tribe, Ragnar beca more curious about Leone.
He really wanted to see what this troublemaker was like. If possible, he also wanted to understand why he was able to make both of his brothers look up to him in admiration.
’I wonder what he is really like,’ Ragnar thought playfully inside his head.
As the son of the Chieftain of the Warclaw Tribe, he was very proud of his lineage.
Pride was sothing both he and Wayne possessed. Yet, even his prideful brother couldn’t resist the young man’s charisma.
"Everyone, leave," Godwin ordered. "Tianna, you stay here."
"Yes, Father." Tianna nodded.
Since their chieftain had given the order, everyone vacated the room, leaving the father and daughter pair alone.
"Tell , honestly, do you see any future danger to our tribe, or our family within the next three months?" Godwin asked.
"Please give a mont, Father." Tianna took out a small pouch from her pocket in response and opened it.
She then grabbed a handful of what seed like fine white dust inside of it before tossing it in the air.
The dust swirled in the air as if it had a life on its own, creating images that only Tianna could understand.
A few minutes later, the dust finally vanished, not leaving a single trace behind. Tianna’s face turned slightly pale after making a divination.
This was a natural side effect while using her powers, so Godwin wasn’t too worried about his daughter.
Still, he took out a potion and asked her to drink it so she would recover faster.
When she finally regained a bit of her composure, Tianna looked at her father and told him the result of her divination.
"I don’t see anything that might endanger our tribe or our family for the next three months," Tianna stated. "Why, Father? Are you planning sothing?"
"Tianna, you’ve been cooped up in this city for a few months," Godwin replied. "How about we take a short vacation? Perhaps sowhere to the east?"
The young lady felt her heart skip a beat. She understood what her father was talking about.
"You want to et him while in disguise?" Tianna asked with an amused smile on her face.
"It has been a while since we traveled as rchants." Godwin chuckled. "What do you say? Shall we visit the Aslan Tribe alongside your brothers?"
Sotis, Godwin and Tianna would travel together, pretending to be rchants. They would then observe the other tribes using a more personal approach.
If the other high-ranking tribes were aware that the rchants that usually visited their cities at least twice a year was actually Godwin and his daughter spying on them, they might have been very shocked by this discovery.
And now, Godwin wanted to see for himself just who Leone was while hiding his true identity. He believed that people only showed their attitude to soone who was their equal, or to soone with a lower standing in society.
rchants were the perfect disguise because they could ld easily into the city as they brought their wares for business.
"Yes," Tianna replied. "I’d love that."
Deep inside, she harbored a little wish.
Perhaps, if she visited the Aslan Tribe with her father, she would reunite with that person she had t during the past tribal gathering in the City of Eden.
