Fortunately, his hard work paid off as he encountered Black Impermanence, who even said he could get him a post as an official ghost ssenger guiding souls.
In other words, he could formally beco a regular soldier in the Underworld, officially on the payroll.

The Evil Ghost nad Wu Tongtian saw Wei Xie self-harming, frowning, noticing that ’body’ turning into paper ash and who had made that ’body,’ resembling a true form.

Yet this sissy ghost impermanence dared call him ugly!
Wu Tongtian’s hands turned into claws, reaching for Wei Xie, those hands like chicken talons, with sharp nails, exuding Yin Evil Energy.
"Don’t you co over." Wei Xie was bound by the corpse ghost, struggling continually, seeing Wu Tongtian’s ghost claws reaching for his spiritual platform, nearly losing it, yelling, "Qin Buqiu, you cursed one, if you don’t co, I’ll really be gone!"
The ghost claw touched his head.
Wei Xie: It’s over, my ghost life is done for!
In the Void, a ripple, then a skill hit Wu Tongtian.

Wu Tongtian, pushed by the Evil Ghost Energy, roared, "Exterminate the ghost demon, heed my command, slay..."
"Slay your head!" Qin Liuxi, seeing Wei Xie’s pitiful state, hit Wu Tongtian several more tis with thunder.
