This Xuan Yi’s origins are unknown, but he possesses a powerful Magic Artifact called the Thousand chanism Net. While restrained, the net bears down like a thunderclap, suppressing his Demon Soul. Any attempt at resistance would cause the net to tighten further, even delivering a thunderous strike against his Demon Soul, damaging the Demon Core.
This is surely a Magic Artifact specifically used for capturing demons.

The Thunder Spell sent the Demon-Slaying Sword flying, and with a smack, it embedded straight into the cave wall.
Feng Xiu shouted, "You’ve finally co; if you hadn’t, I’d have been skinned and my core taken."
Qin Liuxi looked over, seeing Feng Xiu in his original form, restrained by the Purple Light Net, his fur sowhat charred and singed.
"You’re a demon fox capable of forming a Space Domain; how were you captured?" Typically, a Heavenly Master wouldn’t stand a chance against Feng Xiu, yet he’s in such a plight.
"Soone behaved unethically, hiding and taking advantage of the mont I was healing from fighting two big demons, using this broken net to capture ." Feng Xiu said, "The dwarf claims this is called the Thousand chanism Net. Under its restraint, I can’t utilize any demonic power and suffer under its pressure. Quite a decent Magic Artifact. Hurry, beat him and claim the loot."
Upon hearing this, Qin Liuxi’s eyes glead, thinking a Magic Artifact that could subdue even Feng Xiu was indeed a treasure.
Xuan Yi watched as one human and one fox conversed as if no one else was there, his eyes sinister, glaring at Qin Liuxi, "Are you the helper this fox invited? I underestimated him. Even under the Thousand chanism Net, he could still summon you."

She shivered, eyes open, seeing Xuan Yi’s smug smile. She too smiled, and as Xuan Yi’s smile froze at the corner of his mouth, she suppressed her revulsion and grabbed his hand, "Trying to catch ?"
Xuan Yi was shocked, hastily summoning the Demon Banner, only for Qin Liuxi to pull hard, grabbing the Demon Banner with her other hand. Her hand emitted a searing aura, causing the Demon Banner to quiet down, becoming a re banner.
"This item is fated with , much obliged!" Qin Liuxi stowed the Demon Banner into the Qiankun Bag, "You and I are both Taoists; anyone can use a good item. I’ll do you this favor; tell how to use that Thousand chanism Net."
Xuan Yi burst into rage, "Insolence!"
