Landlord Qiu shook his head: "We are a couple that has struggled through poverty together. She single-handedly uplifted our household with her excellent embroidery skills. How could I take a concubine just because we have no children?"
Mrs. Qiu said: "If it isn’t possible this ti either, I will still bring a well-bred girl back for you to marry. Once she has children, I will personally look after them."
She said this, but her tone carried a hint of bitterness.
