Chapter 387: Chapter 384: Miss Qin is Truly a Divine Being

Xiong Er’s face was wrapped in a white cloth, supporting Jing Xiaosi with one hand as he seed faint from prolonged diarrhea, his eyes vacant.

Having lived so many years, when had he ever had to watch soone suffer from diarrhea like this, a tornt arguably worse than having his heart gouged out with a knife?

He truly felt he was suffering a severe punishnt.

“What bad deeds have I done to deserve such lingering torture?” mumbled Xiong Er.

Limp and trembling all over, Jing Xiaosi appeared as if he had been fished out of the water, sweating profusely, with a pale face and white lips. He lacked even the strength to respond; had he not been flanked by Xiong Er and a servant, he might well have fallen into the toilet bucket.

Xiong Er was in agony, and he, too, had lost all face, with this disgraceful episode likely to beco a lifelong joke.

Jing Xiaosi shut his eyes.

He had imagined various thods of curing his ailnt but never anticipated such an outco, and moreover, to endure such embarrassnt in front of ladies.

This was indeed an experience of extre humiliation and anger.

When Jing Xiaosi left the toilet, he had to be carried out by Xiong Er. Not just walking, but even while being supported, he was shivering and swaying, his lips cracked and dry, his entire being in a state of utter exhaustion.

Seeing this, Qin Liuxi offered a bowl of salt water to Jing Xiaosi through the servant and fed him a dicinal pill.

Jing Xiaosi struggled to lift his eyelids and glanced at her, unable to utter a single word.

“Take the toilet bucket out and move it outside,” Qin Liuxi instructed the servant.

The servant, taken aback, hurriedly went inside to fetch the toilet bucket.

Qin Liuxi and Clan Leader stepped outside, and upon seeing them, Jing Xiaosi sneaked a glance at Xiong Er, gesturing with his eyes.

Out of curiosity, Xiong Er quickly propped him up and walked over to the doorway.

He saw Qin Liuxi stirring the contents of the toilet bucket with a stick, showing no sign of disgust.

Bleh.

Xiong Er made a motion of revulsion.

My word, Miss Qin is truly a divine being, not even slightly bothered by filth and disgust.

Jing Xiaosi’s head went blank, a wave of heat rising to his crown and then settling on his face, turning its ghostly white into the color of liver.

Imagine that—a lady, without changing her expression, stirring one’s diarrhea with a stick. What kind of feeling could that be?

Jing Xiaosi thought having diarrhea and farting in public was already shaful enough, but this mont was even more mortifying.

Qin Liuxi, observing the toilet bucket’s content mixed with bloody discharge and spotting so fibrous matter, said to Clan Leader, “It seems to have been expelled.”

Clan Leader also noticed, responding, “It looks like it.”

Qin Liuxi tossed the stick into the toilet bucket, turned around, and Si Lengyue, holding a basin of water, waited smilingly for her. Qin Liuxi walked over, cleansed her hands with herbs, wiped them with a handkerchief, and laughed, “Others could have fetched the water; there was no need for you to co personally.”

“It’s a trivial effort,” Si Lengyue smiled.

Unable to hold back, Xiong Er asked, “Miss Qin, what were you doing just now?”

“I was only checking if he had expelled the poisonous insects. Don’t worry, the waste was expelled quite thoroughly; you may also take a look.”

Xiong Er wanted to decline, but Jing Xiaosi, gripping his hand, insisted; Xiong Er had no choice but to step forward.

Jing Xiaosi gazed at the bucket full of filth, his complexion changing several tis. He knew his diarrhea had been draining, but he never expected it to be this horrifying. Yet, after the initial shock, he felt a sense of relief.

He’s truly alright now?

A group of people walked back inside the house, where Qin Liuxi took his pulse again and said, “After acupuncture and dicine, the toxins in your body have been eliminated, and your ridians are clear. From now on, with a proper recuperative prescription and slow nourishnt, you’ll be no different from a healthy person. As for your current exhaustion from diarrhea, you will recover after resting here for two or three days. Initially, consu so easily digestible liquid food to nourish your stomach.”

Wuyang said, “Mr. Qin, let’s not trouble you twice for the sa matter. Please prescribe the recuperative formula for him.”

Qin Liuxi didn’t refuse and quickly wrote out a prescription for body nourishnt. She also casually ntioned the Yangrong Pills from Changsheng Hall.

You’re not short on money, might as well consu so quality nourishnt.

Xiong Er took the prescription and asked curiously, “Miss Qin, I an no offense, but how could you even look at that disgusting toilet bucket without feeling revulsion?”

Qin Liuxi smiled and asked Wuyang, “Clan Leader, do you find it repulsive?”

Wuyang smiled and shook his head, then said to Xiong Er, “For a doctor, there is no fear of filth. dicine requires ‘inspection, auscultation and olfaction, inquiry, and palpation.’ So dical cases demand detailed investigation. Not to ntion such waste, there are even those enamored by dicine who, like Shennong tasting hundreds of herbs, have tasted poisons. For example, examining the blood vomited by Young Master Jing. Only by thoroughly diagnosing can one treat the root of the illness effectively.”

Upon hearing this, they all showed their respect.

Who says being a doctor is a lowly profession? The truly noble character is the one who dares to save all living things – that is a doctor.

Qin Liuxi said, “I’ve encountered things more revolting than this, so I don’t consider it to be much of a problem.”

Xiong Er bowed, “It is our shortsightedness.”

“Please take care of yourself,” Qin Liuxi said as she prepared to leave.

“Miss,” Jing Xiaosi had a servant help him up, pushed her away, and wobbling, bowed deeply to express his gratitude, “Thank you, Miss Qin, for not holding a grudge. Jing Lian is deeply grateful and also thanks the Clan Leader for the treatnt.”

He consciously reported his full na.

Wuyang chuckled lightly, “It’s but a part of our duties. It’s fortunate for the Young Master to have crossed paths with Mr. Qin. Without her skilled acupuncture to dispel the venom, we would have had a longer ordeal.”

Qin Liuxi modestly deflected the praise and changed the subject, “Clan Leader, I have so questions I’d like to ask. Shall we go to the Book Collection Pavilion to discuss?”

“Sure.”

Wuyang let Jing Xiaosi rest and then walked out side by side with Qin Liuxi.

The room quieted down, and Jing Xiaosi’s body weakened and almost collapsed, but Xiong Er caught him and brought him back to lie down on the couch.

“Prepare so liquid food for your Young Master,” Xiong Er instructed the servant.

Jing Xiaosi also said, “And heat two more buckets of water for a bath.”

The servant took the orders and left.

Xiong Er stared at Jing Xiaosi’s complexion, then suddenly burst into hearty laughter, pointing at him, “Xiao Si, Xiao Si, the handle you have given this ti is in your brother’s hands now, and I’ve got enough to tease you for a lifeti.”

Jing Xiaosi glared at him, his cheeks burning.

Knowing he was thin-skinned, Xiong Er dared not tease him further, coughed, and said, “I’ve always told you, not every woman is the villain you think she is. There are good ones out there. Just look at this ti, had it been so narrow-minded person, she might not have even treated your poisonous insect venom. Not only did she not hold your past against you, but she also didn’t mind the filth. This Miss Qin, she’s truly different from the other girls you’ve t before, so magnanimous and capable. If only…”

Jing Xiaosi said, “Don’t start fantasizing, she’s a female practitioner.”

Xiong Er snorted, “What am I imagining? I’m saying one should truly befriend such capable people. Also, as for the thank-you gift, it must be generous, no skimping allowed.”

“I’m well aware,” said Jing Xiaosi. “What should we give? She probably wouldn’t be interested in banal things like gold or silver, right?”

Upon hearing this, Xiong Er’s eyes rolled as he thought, “I will find out for you what would be suitable, just rest well.”

Seeing Xiong Er dash away quickly, Jing Xiaosi scowled, then touched his abdon, feeling the relaxation in his body and finally let out a sigh of relief.

Yet when he thought of Qin Liuxi, his face turned pale and then flushed, filled with irritation.
