•Tizmilly POV:
"If you really insist on it, my lord, then I’ll try not to beat you too hard."
Mister Roost accepted the challenge from Lord Agraviel despite noticing my warning. And that face... He must be angry. It’s the first ti I saw he smiled that wide. Sohow... He now reminds of Mrs. Roost.
"Beat who, you? Of course, I’ll defeat you in an instant," Lord Agraviel replied with his own remark, which only widened Mister Roost’s smile further.
I know that I couldn’t stop him anymore, so I distanced myself from them with Miss Hamiula and others while ssaging my temple.
Both parties backed off from each other until they created a gap of 10 ters between them.
As Mister Roost and Lord Agraviel entered their fighting stances, Miss Hamiula approached with her usual smile.
"Ah, so sad, with this, Lord Agraviel will thrash your new boy, Miss Tizmilly. Ah~ so sad~ so sad~..."
She said that with eyes that clearly mock .
I was always wondering what the reason this girl hated this much was. She even approached my brother after she seduced Lord Agraviel, then my brother convinced my family to erase my na from the family.
"Why? Why are you doing all of this?" I asked her.
And she looked at coldly because of that.
While Lideon and Riffeon’s attention was on the duel, she grabbed my shoulder.
"What a joke, to think that you really forgot , even after what I’ve done."
She tightened her clutch on my shoulder.
"Was my family na not tickling sothing? Or are we just too unimportant? Answer , Lady Tizmilly?" She whispered in my ear.
Because of the height difference, she needed to stand on tiptoes to reach my ear.
Her attitude shift really confused .
What is she talking about?
I wanted to hear her explain it, but before I could voice a word, the duel was started.
Miss Raffassa imdiately left my side and returned her innocent expression to her face as we focused on the duel.
Lord Agraviel is the one who attacked first.
Lord Agraviel was born without magic, so he could only use his sword, but with his talent, he was actually quite strong. His talent in sword is even higher than mine, to be honest. If only he were not such a lazy man who prefers wasting ti playing with a strange girl like Miss Raffassa, he could even surpass in sword-mastery.
But his opponent is Mister Roost.
For so reason, Mister Roost didn’t use her magic. He deflects and attacks Lord Agraviel with only using his spear. He didn’t even use the ability of his spear.
Currently unfolded before us was the battle between Lord Agraviel, the crown prince of the Empire, and Mister Roost, a skilled Dungeon Diver.
In a pure skill duel, who would win?
...
Lord Agraviel swings his sword vertically downward.
Mister Roost received the attack with his spear and deflected it to the side, before counterattacking with the bottom tip of his spear.
The thrust almost hit Lord Agraviel’s jaw. He took a backstep just in ti to avoid it.
Then he threw a punch using his free left fist toward Mister Roost’s right side.
Instead of choosing to block the punch, Mister Roost ignored it and launched his body using his spear forward, pushing the ground with the spear to enter the right distance to punch Lord Agraviel’s stomach.
This ti, the attack connected.
"Guhak!" Lord Agraviel coughed.
Using that chance when he was still not in the condition to counterattack him, Mister Roost let his spear go and began punching Lord Agraviel’s face.
A punch straight to the left cheek.
"Argh!"
An upper cut to the jaw.
"!!"
Then more punch, and more.
I sighed after Lord Agraviel fell and was completely beaten.
When I glanced toward the three, they were still too stunned to say anything.
"Fiuh! It’s refreshing!" Said Mister Roost with a fresh smile.
’He’s enjoyed it.’
That was unmistakably true after I saw how fresh he looked.
"M-my lord!"
"Agraviel!"
At that ti, Lideon and Riffeon finally recovered and imdiately rushed to take care of Lord Agraviel, who had passed out.
Miss Raffassa was still frozen in place, however.
"We won, Tizmilly!" Said Mister Roost as he approached and raised his palm, inviting to a high-five.
But I ignored it and crossed my arms.
"You overdid it!"
Mister Roost laughed awkwardly in response.
I sighed.
’Mister Roost really is reckless from ti to ti, even though he could beco so mature when he was trying to comfort .’
I should make sure he didn’t grow it to beco a bad habit.
"We should send an apology letter to the embassy of the Fazaar Empire later, okay?"
He shrank under my stern demand.
"Yes ma’am."
