"NOONA, Forced Awakening is bad and illegal..."
Wonhee smiled while looking at Ahyeon, who was driving the car, through the rearview mirror. "You heard my conversation with Choi Sumin?"
"I'm sorry, I didn't an to eavesdrop, Noona," Ahyeon said as if he was embarrassed, his eyes focused on the road. "It's just that I have sharp hearing. A-And I got alard when Miss Choi suddenly ntioned Forced Awakening..."
Of course, Ahyeon would worry.
After all, the governnt had implented a strict law against Forced Awakening. The punishnt for Civilians caught doing it was really harsh in order for people to not even think about it.
It was probably due to the fact that Forced Awakening was triggered by unknown drugs.
"Thank you for your concern, Ahyeonni. But you don't have to worry. You heard that I rejected Choi Sumin's proposal, didn't you?"
In fact, Wonhee cut Sumin off before the latter could even elaborate.
I'm not doing it, so there's no point listening to such nonsense.
"I trust you, Noona, so I knew from the start that you wouldn't be tempted by Miss Choi's offer," Ahyeon said, his face and voice both showed concern. "But I'm worried about Noona being acquainted with soone like Miss Choi. It's obvious that Miss Choi is involved with people in the Black Market."
The 'Black Market' was the place where the drugs that triggered Forced Awakening were being sold.
It was also one of the APA's biggest and most dangerous enemies.
"I understand what you're worried about, Ahyeonnie. And, to be frank, I'm actually scared about getting dragged into whatever ss Choi Sumin has gotten into," Wonhee said, sighing while shaking her head. "That's why I decided to sever all ties with Choi Sumin."
Ahyeon's face instantly lit up. "Good thinking, Noona."

FORTUNATELY, two weeks had already passed since Wonhee t Sumin.
And she hadn't heard anything from the actress ever since then.
Thank goodness.
"Wony-ah, here's your iced coffee," Billie, her manager unnie, put the cup holder with four cups of iced coffee in it on the table. "I got one for Ahyeon and Momo, too." 'Momo' was Wonhee's stylist. "But where are they?"
"Soone called Ahyeon because the car next to him accidentally scratched our van. While Momo Unnie took a bathroom break," Wonhee explained, then she took a sip of her iced coffee. "Ah, I finally feel awake."
Billie giggled while shaking her head. "I told you to dye your hair next week, but you insisted on doing it today."
Right.
Wonhee was currently in a salon because she asked her stylist to dye her hair orange.
She would officially start filming next week, and she wanted to greet her fans with a new look since she made them wait for her coback for years.
"I want to be prettier for the fans..." Wonhee said, trailing off when she suddenly tasted sothing awful in her drink on her third sip. She imdiately removed the straw from her mouth. "Unnie, did you get this drink from our usual place? It tastes different..."
The iced coffee was unusually bitter, and the taste was making her tongue numb.
"Really?" Billie asked, confused and worried. "Don't drink it– hey, Wony-ah!"
Wonhee wanted to ask Billie why she was suddenly yelling her na worriedly, but then she realized that she couldn't move and her consciousness was fading away.
Ah, I fainted...

"WONHEE-ya, are you awake?"
Hmm?
Wonhee smiled when Seodam's handso face greeted her as soon as she opened her eyes. "Oppa, when did you get here?"
Seodam's face darkened, his jaw clenched. "Just now, Wonhee-ya."
She froze when she felt sothing cold and hard around her wrists, causing her to look down at her hands.
Her boyfriend put those things around her wrists, but they weren't jewelry.
"Handcuffs?" Wonhee asked, confused and scared. Then she looked at Seodam's stoic face with knitted eyebrows. "Why are you putting handcuffs on , Oppa?"
"Chu Wonhee, you're under arrest," Seodam said sternly. "You're under arrest for suspicions of taking Forced Awakening drugs."
