HMM?
Wonhee woke up with a splitting headache.
She felt dizzy as if a strong earthquake was shaking the ground.
But she soon realized that it wasn't an earthquake.
She opened her eyes slowly, then shut them tight quickly when blinding lights hit her eyes painfully. But a quick peek around her was enough for her to see and realize her current situation.
I'm lying down on a moving stretcher.
Two n and two won Hunters, who wore APA black suits, were pushing the stretcher instead of a dical team.
"Where are you bringing ?" Wonhee asked weakly, her voice hoarse. "Stop..."
Argh.
Just speaking a few words already used up a lot of her energy.
But she still remained alert, quietly listening to the hushed voices of the n pushing the stretcher a little faster this ti.
"Why did she wake up already?"
"I thought they gave her a sedative strong enough to knock down an F-Class Hunter?"
"Right? It should have been enough to make a Civilian sleep for at least three days ..."
What?!
Wonhee was flabbergasted to know that she was given a sedative without her permission!
I'm really gonna sue the governnt even if I have to spend all my fortune...
"Where are you taking ?" Wonhee repeated her question impatiently. "This is illegal... I'm going to sue you all..."
The Hunters in suits just ignored her.
Wonhee tried to get up, but a rough hand grabbed her by the shoulder and pushed her down.
She groaned in pain.
"Stop resisting if you don't want to get hurt even more, Miss Chu."
Wonhee just looked at the man because she didn't even have the strength to glare as she felt her consciousness slowly fading away.
I rember your faces...

WONHEE woke up when she felt herself getting lifted.
When she opened her eyes, she saw two n practically dragging her to a room with heavy iron doors. There was a huge red X mark drawn on the doors, and it looked like dried blood.
That scread 'horror.'
Okay, that completely sobered her up.
"Let go!" Wonhee demanded, fighting back with what little strength was left in her body. "How dare you touch without my permission?!"
Of course, the APA n didn't even budge since both were Hunters.
How could a re Civilian like her inflict damage on Awakened People?
Wonhee stopped screaming and trying to wiggle out of the Hunters' grasp when she heard a creaking sound that sent chills down her spine.
The two female Hunters that she saw earlier opened the heavy iron doors.
Wonhee couldn't see anything inside because it was too dark.
Now every single hair in her arm and neck stood up.
"No, please no," Wonhee cried, begging. She tried to make her body heavy, but it was futile since the Hunters dragged her without even stopping for a mont. "No!"
The Hunters harshly threw Wonhee inside the dark room, causing her to fall to her knees.
She tried to get up and ran towards the closing doors, but she slipped– and she slipped because the floor was made of ice. It was like running on the ice rink without ice blades. Needless to say, her fall was bad and painful.
It hurts...
"Who the fuck are you?"
Wonhee gasped, looking over her shoulder when she heard a deep and low voice that horrified her to the bones.
But her abrupt movent seed to be a bad decision.
The next thing she knew, her back was already pinned to the cold and hard floor behind her– a stranger straddling her hips while her arms were trapped in his tight grasp.
Red eyes.
A pair of glowing red eyes stared back at Wonhee.
But it wasn't only the stranger's eyes that caught her attention.
His two-toned hair also glimred in the dark. The root and the upper part of the stranger's hair were blue-gray, while the strands and the lower part were white. His skin was also as white as snow.
Red eyes and blue-gray/white hair?
Only one person in Korea possessed such unique physical features.
And that also explained the ice that seed to freeze the entire room.
"Hwang Frost?" Wonhee whispered in disbelief, her pupils shaking from fear. "The fallen master of the Winter Guild...?"
One of the original Big 4...
... and the first X-Class Hunter in Korea!
Wonhee suddenly rembered her previous conversation with Seodam...
"You know what happened to the master of the Winter Guild, don't you?"
"It was all over the news last year. He's classified as an X-Class Hunter now."
X-Class.
It was when a Hunter who couldn't be guided by a Guide anymore finally snapped and lost their humanity.
"I plan to take his place, Wonhee."
This was the person Seodam wanted to replace.
"Ah. Are you a Guide?" Hwang Frost, the scary X-Class Hunter, asked while frowning. "So, you're the next food that APA sent as an offering, huh?"
An offering?
Why does he sound like he's going to eat alive?
Well, it wouldn't be far-fetched since an X-Class was a Hunter who had already lost his sanity and humanity.
She couldn't ignore the possibility of Hwang Frost being a cannibal.
"No, please don't eat , good sir," Wonhee begged, bursting into tears. "I don't taste good because my newly dyed hair is still full of chemicals!"

sola_cola's thoughts on this Chapter: As they say, "A villain would sacrifice the world to save you." Maybe in Wonhee's case, the villain would freeze the world for her? Hmm~
