No one expects their first eting with their university roommate to be getting carried by soone, but Su He is experiencing that right now.

Two girls, one tall and one short, are Lv Xiaoxia from the Northeast and Ying Tiantian from Crosstalk City.

Just by looking, you can tell these two girls are very outgoing and cheerful, and from the narration, it’s clear that the dorm’s girls all have normal personalities; Su He should get along with them just fine over her four years of college.

"Are you going to make your bed yourself, or are you expecting to help?" Su Qing tossed Su He out, saying as if it were natural.

"I know, mind your own business!" Su He rolled her eyes at her brother. She was a bit embarrassed having been dragged out for the eting with her roommates.

The dorm was nice, a simple four-person room with beds on top and study desks below.

"Oh my, are you really not a student?" Ying Tiantian asked curiously, looking at him.

Lv Xiaoxia on the side also chid in, "Yeah, it doesn’t seem like there’s much of an age difference."

Hearing that and seeing these newly enrolled young girls, even though he wasn’t much older, having graduated just a year ago, he already felt a sense of seniority.

"Haha, I’ve already graduated. She’s my sister, I’m just dropping her off. By the way, did you all co by yourselves? I didn’t see your parents around," Su Qing was curious.

Maybe the boys could handle enrollnt by themselves, but usually, the girls’ parents would want to co along just for peace of mind, right?

"We ca early, arrived around 9 this morning, and they left at noon. Another roommate also arrived later; she’s probably having lunch with her parents now. Oh, are you thirsty, big bro? Have so water," Lv Xiaoxia brightly offered, showcasing her northeastern personality, as she handed him a bottle of water.

At the start of the university year, when new roommates introduce themselves to each other, it’s quite an amusing scene to imagine.

However, when faced with the water handed to him, Su Qing instinctively took a step back. For so reason, he always had a subconscious caution towards girls around his sister’s age.

After all, he had suffered in such situations before, but he thought, there’s no need to be concerned since they aren’t familiar with each other. He then relaxed with a sigh of relief.

"Thanks," Su Qing thanked her and accepted the water.

His reaction naturally didn’t go unnoticed by the two girls, who seed a bit puzzled.

"Bro, could you help pull the bedsheet tight?" Su He called down from the upper bunk, only to receive a roll of the eyes.

"Can’t handle it already, whiny? It’s just the first day out!"

"I..."

Seeing Su He get stuck, Su Qing turned to the two girls with a smile, "You guys are all classmates, plus in the sa dorm. Take care of each other. My sister’s IQ is a bit lacking!"

"You’re the idiot! Your whole family... ahem!"

In response, Su Qing shrugged, "See, she can even mock herself when she’s annoyed!"

Upon hearing this, the two girls couldn’t help but cover their mouths and giggle. The way these siblings interacted was quite different from typical families, very interesting.

After tidying up the bed, they all chatted lightly in the dorm for about half an hour.

"By the way, do you have any plans for today?" Su Qing asked.

On hearing this, the two girls nodded, and Ying Tiantian spoke up, "The senior who brought us over said there’s free ti today. We’re supposed to go buy so essentials from nearby stores and be back by nine tonight. Then tomorrow, we’ll start military training."

Su Qing nodded. That’s standard procedure; no one can escape that.

"I see. Have you bought all your essentials yet? How about we go out for a al? My treat. You can get to know each other," Su Qing suggested with a smile.

Although they’re not his classmates, he wouldn’t mind making a good impression on Su He’s classmates, at least to help her quickly blend in with the group.

"Yeah, let’s all go eat together?" Su He also invited them.

But both girls waved their hands in refusal.

"No thanks, I’ve already eaten,"

" too, I’m not hungry yet!"

[Interacting among young people, you’re already outdated, sir, just making it awkward here. They barely know you. Leave it to Su He to foster the connections; politely declining is far better than awkwardness. Sir, take the hint.]

Su Qing:...

Sir?... Sir?

The narrator’s comnt was the first to irk him. His forehead bulged with veins, as his mouth twitched. He’s only 22, how did he beco a ’sir’?

Looking at these two young girls, who couldn’t be older than 18 or 19, thinking he’s a ’sir’; how impolite!

But regardless, he ca here as a guardian figure, he shouldn’t be fussing with these young ones.

Taking a deep breath, Su Qing smiled, "Alright then, Su He, let’s go. Let’s buy your essentials!"

"Okay, we’re going now, see you!"

"Bye-bye~~"

An hour later, the sibling duo found a small shop in the snack street behind the school and ordered a couple of dishes.

Su He carried a large bag of daily necessities while Su Qing chatted away.

"University is a place where students manage students. Don’t be awed by those in the student council; they’re all the sa. The truly smart ones are either preparing for postgraduate studies or just being good students, avoiding trouble.

If you join the student council, it’ll take up your free ti. Sotis, you won’t even have a decent al at noon, not to ntion weekends. They say it adds points, but those points are useless; don’t let them scare you.

Also, if any seniors knock on your dorm saying they want to sell you sothing, buy it if you need it. If not, just ignore it; don’t feel embarrassed. And definitely don’t fear them. By halfway through the second year, you’ll pretty much get the hang of everything."

Su Qing shared so college experience tips with Su He.

Though he’s unsure about this university’s student council, during his ti, the student council was quite arrogant, always acting superior and imposing penalties or summoning advisors.

He behaved for the first six months, but after that, when the student council ca for inspections, no one would indulge them. The student council eventually turned into a thankless position.

They say college is a half-way into the real world, and the student council’s supposed to train you early. But most of the ti, the only thing students learn is to bully the weak and misuse authority. When they graduate, it all crumbles back to reality.

"Really? You’re not tricking , are you, bro? I was thinking of aiming for the student council. If it’s as you say, what do they even gain from joining it?" Su He was puzzled.

"Gain what? Most people just want to show off. Of course, only a few actually get so benefits like money from it. If you think you’re among those few, give it a try. But you’ll probably start off being ordered around and getting scolded!" Su Qing shook his head.

He’d experienced similar situations when he was in college, quitting after not even half a year, and was much happier afterward.

So even used their student council positions to get romantically involved with junior students. It was sickening, and he didn’t want Su He encountering such jerks.

"Then I’ll just focus on my studies. That’s scary!"

"Glad you understand. Now hurry and eat; I’ll send you back, then leave."

"Leaving? So soon? Weren’t you planning to stay in the capital for a few more days?" Su He asked urgently.

Though she acted nonchalantly, being in a new place with the last family mber leaving was unsettling for her.

"Your brother still has things to do, alright? And besides, if I don’t leave, where would I stay, your dorm? C’mon, I might pop by to watch your tough military training monts now and then, send them to our folks, let them have a good laugh too!"

Su He:...

As expected, her brother was still up to his tricks, couldn’t argue with that!

After their al and sending Su He back to her dorm, Su Qing left and checked into a nearby hotel.

By six o’clock in the evening, he received a call from Tang Nan.

"Hurry downstairs, I’m at your hotel’s entrance!"

"What’s up? I was just lying down!"

"Even if you’re in the shower, you better run out as you are, now co on!"

Su Qing:...

When he got downstairs, he imdiately spotted Tang Nan’s SUV.

"Got your things packed?"

Su Qing nodded, "I think this place is nice, 200 yuan a night!"

"Nice my foot. Since you’ve co to the capital, let your sister here take care of you. Xiao Yi would think I’m stingy letting you stay in a 200 yuan hotel, co on, let show you around the empire your sisters have carved out for you."

[Generations bring forth new talents, each leads the trend for a few hundred years. The jokester lady plans to keep you in her gentle care for a while, cutting off another’s water and power.]

Two hours later, inside a private room in a couple-thed restaurant, candles were lit for a candlelight dinner. Tang Nan and Su Qing sat across from each other.

A phone was placed beside their seats, displaying a video call.

"Little Yi, your little man here... is just wonderful!"
