Outside the East City Public Security Bureau, Li Zijun drove while Su Qing sat in the passenger seat, bidding farewell to everyone.

"Xiao Li, drive carefully!"

"Got it, Master."

"Li Jie, your little brother is sothing else. If Master finds out, he'd be overjoyed. Give a call if you ever need anything, brother!" Du Qiang said to Su Qing in the passenger seat with a smile.

He wanted to respond, but with soone pinching his thigh, he could only force a smile and nod.

"Su Qing, co back often!" Zhu Lili waved her hand, feeling a bit excited.

Everyone: →_→

This place is like a hospital. Who cos here for no reason unless they're a governnt employee?

Seeing everyone looking at her, Zhu Lili realized her mistake and blushed fiercely.

"Alright, Master, I'll take him back first. We just got a lead here, so you all need to stay busy!" Li Zijun said softly.

Lin Chengcai nodded: "Don't worry, we've got a lead to follow. It's no trouble, go on!"

"Hmm."

Watching Li Zijun drive away, Lin Chengcai turned to Du Qiang and said, "Xiao Qiang, send a copy of that audio later."

"Sure, got it!"

Having said that, Lin Chengcai looked at his old partner Yan Lie and asked, "How was it?"

Upon hearing this, the dark-faced Yan Lie took a sharp drag from his cigarette and grumbled, "Damn, this is uncanny. That kid's interrogation techniques are laughable, but he always seed to know what Jiang Dabao was thinking. At first, I didn't believe it, but after a few words, I saw Jiang Dabao's face change."

"The atmosphere in the room was almost frozen, and during that ti, the kid even guessed what I was thinking, which really startled . I've never seen soone so good at seeing through people. How did he do it? Even Old Bi, our negotiation expert who's great at psychology and facial expression analysis, doesn't have such an ability. We applied pressure alongside Qiang and , and that's why Jiang Dabao couldn't hold up."

"You didn't see it. Every ti Jiang Dabao spoke, the kid ca up with questions about items, locations, and such, and before I understood what was going on, he had analyzed the answer. When I spoke, Jiang Dabao reacted, although not much, but that's our job — how could we not notice?"

"Damn, if that kid weren't outside the system, I'd want to tell soone upstairs to bring him on board."

Indeed, since he couldn't use the flimsy excuse of Feng Shui Divination anymore, Su Qing changed his approach.

Whether it was Jiang Dabao or Yan Lie asking questions, Su Qing always offered multiple-choice options over the intercom, which included the correct answer provided by the voiceover, and then announced the answer.

This way, everyone thought he deduced it from their expressions or body language, bluffing them to confirm.

Even Yan Lie initially thought he was bluffing, but seeing Jiang Dabao's changed expression left no room for doubt.

If not for the voiceover saying this was an opportunity to change fate, he wouldn't have had these thoughts, as he didn't know if it was good or bad.

But since Lin Chengcai gave him this chance, he was willing to give it a try, to contribute his...part.

Of course, it wasn't out of selflessness. Before going, he asked and confird there was a reward, unlike the last ti. With money, everything's negotiable. Is there anything scarier than money in this world?

Hearing this, Lin Chengcai laughed: "I asked Xiao Li, that kid hasn't studied psychology or been involved with criminal investigation. Looks like it's a natural talent, a good seed, such a pity he's not in our line of work."

"I've researched criminal psychology myself, and sitting across from him during those monts, I felt sothing was off. I didn't expect he'd have such talent. No wonder he calculates so accurately, haha. Alright, this young man helped us a lot. If we can't handle it, then it's our problem. Let's go!" Lin Chengcai said, chuckling as he returned to the station.

He planned to study the audio from earlier carefully once he finished his current tasks, hoping it might help him improve.

'Squeak~~'

A police car stopped at the entrance of Su Qing's apartnt complex.

"Jiejie, don't look at like that, it's creepy!" Su Qing shrank to the side, and if the car door hadn't been locked, he would have run.

"Creepy? If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes today, I wouldn't have known you had this skill. How could you accurately grasp Jiang Dabao's inner thoughts? Don't use that Feng Shui Divination excuse on !" Li Zijun asked curiously.

If she hadn't seen it with her own eyes, she would have thought Su Qing had been involved in so case and got insider information, but watching him tear apart Jiang Dabao's psychological defenses in the interrogation room made her believe.

After all, facing soone who can see through your inner secrets, the pressure is imnse for anyone, let alone for soone like Jiang Dabao who's committed a cri.

"Just observing his facial expressions and minor body language. The rest is just guessing. Whether I guess right or not, anyone would react. Today was mostly luck!" Su Qing laughed.

Because after Jiang Dabao started talking, he was no longer needed, and then Lin Chengcai and the others surrounded him, almost giving him a nervous breakdown.

Lin Chengcai even straight-up asked if he deduced things from Jiang Dabao's expressions and subtle body language. He didn't dare to say otherwise, so he took the cue. That's how he beca the person everyone thought was naturally gifted in criminal psychology, just without formal training.

Li Zijun looked at him for a while before sighing, "Alright, just pretend today's event never happened, got it? Get out!"

"What about...the reward..." Su Qing asked cautiously, but seeing Li Zijun's glare, he swiftly got out and ran, silently telling himself this was the last job, he'd stop once he got the money.

Watching his frantic dash, Li Zijun couldn't help but chuckle. No matter what talent he had, wasn't he still as timid as when he was a kid when facing her?

anwhile, still at the company after a long day, Shen Yi glanced at her watch, then opened her phone to ssage Su Qing on WeChat.

Shen Yi: "Busy?"

After a short while, the phone buzzed.

Su Qing: "Just finished."

Seeing this, Shen Yi smirked and continued ssaging:

"It's almost eight. What kind of work is so exhausting?"

Su Qing: "I'm not working, doing my own thing, busy with other stuff. By the way, when are you free, I'll bring the car to you."

Upon seeing this ssage, Shen Yi thought for a mont and replied:

"How about now? I'll send you the location, co find . I'll even introduce you to a job, easy and high-paying [covering mouth and smiling]"

Su Qing: "What job?"

Shen Yi: "Have als with , go shopping with , chat with ."

At the other end, Su Qing looked at the ssage, montarily unsure of how to respond.

[So pay for food and drink, so pay for song requests, so pay for beauty treatnts, so pay for massages. Today you've got a good gig, soone paying to keep her company.]

After a while, Shen Yi received Su Qing's reply on her phone, containing only two words:

"Escort services?"

Shen Yi: ...
